Job loss is a critical thing and affect most people's emotional reactions. And not all firms allow employees the opportunity to learn or further their skills. That's why it's always great for job seekers to admire companies that encourage them to go for workshops. Not all employers do this, because of the overwhelming tasks required of the staff. However, if a person ends up losing their job, it's great that they go for a few months rest and recollections. So that in their next job search they'll be able to give the best to the employer and as well have a plan B or a side hustle that would better help their productivity.

This is the main reason why every employee should be ready not to focus on the job they have at hand like their to ives depends on it, have an agreement before yiu take up and open offer an ensure that you are not going 5o be treated as slaves that's why you should always request goe an employment later because it you will know your job description and the hours yiu are expected to work in each day.
I think there should be a little time given to everyone that is employed by a firm to allow them upgrade themselves if necessary and their daily task be shifted to other staff so that they don't end up lacking behind. A person who has so many responsibilities will only be thinking about getting another job in order to meet up with some pending bills they wouldn't have the time to think about their past jobs and how to reflect on what made them lose the job.

You have a point but don't you think that people lose jobs for many reasons. I hope you know that sometimes, you might not even do anything and the company will want to refuce some staffs due to economy policy change and if there is low patronage in sells. Sometimes, you can lose your jobs if there is change in ownership, your boss can decide to sell his company one day and the owner of the company can sack all the staffs or even do as he want to do.

Applying for new jobs doesn't stop you from redefining and packaging yourself again, it's not like if you apply for a job you are going to have the job immediately, it can take weeks or days depending on how demanding and available your job is, so the earlier you apply for the job and get it, the better chance you get for the job. If you don't apply for new jobs as soon as possible, you might get frustrated later due to bills and expectations from dependants around you.

First of all, you can avoid losing your job when you become your own boss and employ people instead of others employing you to always work for them. You can make improvements by establishing your own business or company and end the risk of losing your job impromptu.

Each person does have that different mindset on which there would really be those who would really be thinking up on how they would really be trying out to make themselves having that kind of improvement on via learning up new skills sets on which it could really be able to help them  to find another job or sideline which is really that aside from their current job. If ever they will really be thinking up with some promotions then they would really be that definitely be trying out to learn up new skills but there are indeed people who are really just that contented on what they do have now and wont decide up to have some progress and just remain on what they do currently have now. On the moment that there would really be some possible lay off then they will really be having a hard time on getting a new job not unless if there's vacancy and fast deployment then it could do but what if not? Having multiple skills will really be that increasing up that chances on getting hired on different fields on which it will really be basing up on the skills that you had been able to obtain. At the moment that you do able to find such skills then it will really be that not hard for you to find up any other positions on which it will really fit out into your skills and thats really an advantage towards other people who dont have a job and that trying out to apply. We do know that when it comes to unemployment rate and the competition on finding jobs is really that becomes tougher because of tons of people who do seek out. Never put up yourself on such disadvantage just because you do really just being contented on a single skill.

We just have two different sets of people who would go for what they think is best for them.

Honestly I always thought about this, and I always tried to improve myself and have more skillset for the future, I know a bit of design, a bit of coding, and now working on learning and understanding AI a bit more as well, all of those do worth some money, not a lot of course because there are tens of millions of them online for cheap, but I am learning to be skilled enough that even if I do not work for someone else, I can do something for myself. In the end, I think that's the most important part, if we can make this work then we can get better for our own job in the future.

However, I can do this because I am relatively still young, not as young as I want to be lol, but still not some 55-60 year old dude. Sometimes they lose their jobs, people with 15+ year careers, and it is not easy for them to reflect and look back on what they can do. For those people, they just find another job and keep doing what they are doing, because they only know how to do that.

Yes, your words are right, but here too there are many important points that I want to share with you. A person who is running for a job is seen not getting his desired job, at this time he suffers from various types of disappointments. And those who are giving jobs are keeping them as slaves of their company or industry and are running the company through them and paying the people working in the company.

Indeed there is no harm in stopping for a moment after losing a job and better when someone dares to get out of the comfort zone and open his own business even in a much smaller scope. Working in other people's places does not guarantee financial success because the salary we will get is only enough to meet the needs of life and sometimes we will lose work when the company sees no more employees.

Good thing you mentioned that not everyone have that or such previlage of relaxing a bit to reflect and work on themself before after losing a job, before rhey go out to seek for another job.

But on the other, I did like to say that we all sure have such privilege, but unfortunately, the circumstances around us or we find ourselves often is what takes that or such privilege from us.
For example, you don't expect a family man with wife and children to feed, to sit at home doing nothing, with eve excuse of reflecting on himself to himself better, most especially if that man had no savings from his previous job, he will have no choice but to do all he can to land a new job or else, himself, wife and children will go hungry, he might end up borrowing just to feed and you and I know that this is not a good thing.

you have to survive first before thinking of getting better at a job you don't even have in the first place. the economy situation is telling on different working class persons and staying a whole month without earning a dime just because you are trying to analyze the reason why you are led off can lead you into debt or give you some psychological problem problem of thinking that you are too bad hence the reason why you are led off.

its better that while you are yet working, you make use of that time to gather as much skill as will make you relevant such that if the work ceases, you can still remain relevant in the labor market. getting a new job is very difficult in todays world and once you don't plan effectively while you are yet working, if uncertainty hits, you might suffer seriously. that is the reason why investing is very key so you don't quickly run broke the moment things stops going well for you. you should at least have a delegated income that should sustain you for at least a year if you run out of a job. until you have built a system that can fetch you some income if you cease to do your job, you are sitting on a time bomb.
