A person’s first instinct when they lose their job is to find a new one right away. But it wouldn’t hurt to take a few time off and reflect why you lost the job. Maybe there’s something you lack. Maybe there’s something you can improve. Maybe you can invest in yourself more and learn new things. Learn new skill sets. Explore and experience new more things that could help you land a better and more stable job in the future.

Unfortunately not everyone has the privilege to not work and focus on themselves that’s why they never improve in terms of the job they land on. Since they don’t have the time to focus on themselves and their skills, they remain only on a specific level and their wages are also the same.

If someone has lost their job and has become unemployed but has a lot of money in their savings then well of course they can relax a bit and think about more things in that time. But the problem is that most people when they lose their jobs sometimes they don't have much money saved to meet their daily needs. So like it or not, they have to immediately look for a new job. Or even looking for ways to make money even if you have to open a small business with the remaining money you have.

Actually, reflecting on ourselves and looking for better opportunities would be more appropriate since we still have a job or are currently working. Because we actually have to always have a backup plan, just like we always have to have emergency cash savings.

When I was younger, I always wanted to have a job so that I could pay for my phone, buy clothes that I wanted to wear. Also to buy my own food when I was out and about. Or even save up from my first car.

Search for growth and don't make yourself getting stuck with a single job or source of income.As much as possible you should be finding out  another source of income so that if ever you're been laid off or lose your job then you do have also back up plans or simply you could be able to survive due on having other source of income on which we know that this is really that very crucial. You would definitely be having a hard time on surviving if you dont have back up plans because you have just that made yourself contended on one source which is not recommended.Always be that thinking up ahead because if you don't mind about probabilities then you might ending getting shock if time happens.

Learn up new skills on which you can be able to get another source of income from other side jobs on which you can add up some investment and business that makes a good back up  or simple another income source. You will be finding yourself having financial freedom and this is something that we should target on.

Being fired doesn’t only reflect on ones inability to carry out work accurately, their are certain circumstances that leads to that, like the instance you gave and several other stuffs too like when an employee suddenly becomes incompetent, disable or sometimes it could be even one's selfish desires, bad character or carelessness that could make them lose their job.
 However most companies can be tough on their employees and got the companies interest at heart alone without thinking about the well-being of their employees, concerning the story you shared, that was a very unfair treatment and those workers deserved better.
 Anyways, i know it could be so heartbreaking to be fired unnecessarily but then it's not the end of the road for them, that's a big lesson learnt and an opportunity to reflect on themselves and give room to learning new skils that could enable them being self employed instead of jumping into another job.

Whenever you lose a job always do a little self reflection and make sure you work on yourself. That is the main thing that happenes in the society today,  many people don't want to improve due to Laziness, they are always cool, fine and comfortable  in their place of primary asigment, and it makes them static, not thinking of other creative idea to help them. It's only when they are sacked they will know the office they occupied is not their own.  I could remember vividly some years ago when a worker was very boastful saying that if he leaves the job we will not regret because he has saved some money, that that money will be used to start up something.  But after he was sacked he couldn't start the business because the money was not enough to feed him and running the business. Moral of the lesson is that even if you have a job or working for someone, you can as well be running a small business outside and be adding it money till it stabilize so that you stand no chance of losing anything when you are out of your job.

Taking some time off to think things over and get better after losing a job can really help, but not everyone have the privilege to do that, some people don't have enough money to just not working. I myself experience to be jobless for more than 3 months, only work as freelance, and from my experience I dare to say that we can do both, learning new skill while looking for a job, even while working on a full time job.

I also think it's not quite true that work prevents self improvement. Hybrid work and online resources have made upskilling while earning a living easier. We can expand our experience and developing kills through in our current job so we can get better and have more value, we still can grow and improve ourself eventhough we are are in a formal working environment.

I can't even imagine having 2 jobs. I mean my job doesn't have advancement, it's a simple freelance job, you do not start as intern and then become jr. and then sr. and then director and then gm or whatever, I am doing what I am doing for the past 8 years and I still do not look for another job. The idea of working on two jobs means you must have either very easy two jobs that completement each others time slot, like maybe 9-5 desk job and then UBER when you are done, because that could be one.

However, if that's not the case then I would say that it would make some sense if you could just end up with a lot worse situations on the long run if you do not have anything good on the long run neither, that just doesn't make sense at all. I believe, having two jobs is hard, I can't have it, life and my job already covers 24 hours, sometimes so much so that I have to sleep less than 6 hours a day, so I can't imagine having another job, where am I suppose to put that in, during sleeping hours or something? I respect the ones who do it though, some people work in hard jobs, and they earn, because they need to, and I respect those people, I wouldn't be able to.

Joblessness we all know is the state of being unemployed or having no job and this at times is not caused by an individual one can have all the full qualifications but still have no job but mostly people with no good qualifications own's a good job and mostly a white collar job let's not even talk about the qualifications but in a country the high rates of population can also cause joblessness over a thousand of youth who graduated from school whereby the population of graduate are more than the jobs in the country mostly in an underdeveloped country or I'll say a developing country
