That's not true I updated the orginal post right at launch with the downloads/pools the wallet was working you just had to add the config file.
250 blocks were not instamined that's a lie only the premine block and 2 blocks were mined to verify the network.

Yes my apology I did put the wrong wallet link in the direct download but that was corrected the next minute when somebody pointed it out. However the right downlink link was on the website if the direct download link wasn't working for anyone. I'm sorry if on one spot I put a broken link for one minute and then fixed it but like you said mistakes happen. All in all this is a much smoother launch then most coins and I hope everything works out.

I'm really, really confused now. I thought the only way to solo was through the wallet using the mine button? I also only use GUIMiner for pool mining.

This could have been avoided if the dev got some half-competent pool websites on launch.

No, if you used the config file in the OP all you have to do is put the url as http://127.0.01:35450 in cgminer while running the wallet.

Set the rpc server login information in the mandarincoin.conf that goes in the wallet %APPDATA% folder e.g.

Create a shortcut to the wallet -qt.exe and in the shortcut properties add the -server argument e.g.

Start the wallet using the shortcut, make sure it's synced and point the cgminer output to your localhost using the RPC login info e.g.

guys I'm sorry about the pools not working 2 of the pool runners had said their pools would be up but they aren't I'm currently trying to get more pools for mandarincoin. I understand that solo mining isn't really viable now because the difficulty is to high and last block was found 10 minutes ago.

If you have the wallet open, close it
then click start go to run and type %appdata%
hit enter and it will open a folder. Search the folder named "mandarincoin" and open it. Paste the file that you just downloaded here in this folder and close it. Now open your wallet again. It will now work.
