I wondered if Bitcoin will ever again crash below 50.000$. What do you think? I think it is likely that we will see it go down to 70K but not below that point. 2025 will be the most important year, because governments around the world get involved.

I think it will be considered cheap in the future to buy Bitcoin below 100.000$. Any opinions on that?

Are you referring to just this year or no time limit? If the latter is the case then we’d definitely see the price go below $50,000 or even more depending on what happens in the future; but if you’re just referring to this year - there’s still a possibility of it going below that price mark but I’m not certain as of now since I don’t know how the price movement will be halfway into the year.

But just keep at the back of your mind that “nothing is impossible” when it comes to crypto.

I think it's not gonna be far than $50,000 because many government and institutions now hold Bitcoin, so it's hard to make Bitcoin price fall really sharp. We also don't know how high Bitcoin price will reach this year, this year should be the peak of the current super cycle.

The fact that governments and institutions hold bitcoin is not a reliable indicator that bitcoin will not fall to $50k in a bear season. Because there is no guarantee that they will not sell their bitcoins during this bull season and it is even possible that their selling of bitcoins is the reason why the bear market started.
But we still don't know what the highest ATH bitcoin can reach is, so predicting whether bitcoin will fall below $50k is also very difficult to predict.

Any price of Bitcoin is cheap as long as you plan to hold for long term period.

But if we buy bitcoin at too high a price then the profit will be reduced somewhat and to solve that problem we should combine DCA strategy.

Bitcoin is not going to crash, but it may go dip to $60,000 or $50,000 after we are done with the bullrun season and we batch into another the bear season, since we certainly believe that there exist two main seasons in crypto, which is the bull and bear seasons, and not that we are in the bullrun season, we should be expecting for the bear one too maybe later in the year or by next year, but i don't think the market price for bitcoin is going to go dip as below $50,000 regardless of the dip, and as for now, we are still optimistic about having more highs for bitcoin to get to $120,000 or something close to

Since the market is volatile, it is possible that this will happen, I remember before if I am not mistaken before bitcoin hit ATH of 20k$ bitcoin dropped around 180$. So, in this topic it doesn't seem to be far from that scenario, not in a literal amount I think this bull run is the most likely to reach that price drop is probably between 60k$-70k$ what I see, that's the most likely.

But even so, this is just my opinion and we are all entitled for this matter, right? Anything can still happen so meaning it could happen even lower if I am wrong in my observation.

There is nothing that is not possible when it comes to Bitcoin, so don't be surprised that the price can go as low as $20,000. Still, if the price goes as low as that, it will return to its normal price, and the government will get involved. Still, the government will want to do everything possible to manipulate it in their favor, and we know how the government is very Coney. They will do what will be in their favor, and no one can be blamed because they have been exposed in their act, and with time people will want them to be accountable, and this is the only way for things to get better.

There is no way that the price will not increase in the future, so there are a lot of prospects and that is why a lot of people are investing in Bitcoin At the end of the day, bitcoin is growing, and with how people are picking interest, all this is going to make bitcoin investments very interesting. and it is a good opportunity for everyone to invest in, there is no reason why people should be scared at this point when it comes to investing in Bitcoin.

People might argue that because Bitcoin has gone from 69k to below 20k before, there's a possibility of it crashing down to below 50k, and they are right to believe, I also believe bitcoin can still crash to $50k. We know what Bitcoin is; it's almost unpredictable, and you can never be 100% certain about your prediction. But in my opinion, unless something drastic like a war or something happens, I don't see Bitcoin going below 30k again.

Bitcoin didn't have this kind of exposure and trust when it dipped so badly from an ATH a few years ago, today, people have more trust in bitcoin. More investors are ready to risk it all with bitcoin, governments are talking about having bitcoin reserves and companies that have not hopped on the bitcoin train are missing out. My point is that Bitcoin is way bigger now. Bitcoin getting to 50k currently would be a very big and unexpected shock because its that big now.

@OP Another thing I would suggest you is not to obsess too much about bitcoin price and how muh it could go up and down. I mean, I can understand if this is your first bull run as we all went through that phas,e but sooner you get that kind of mindset behind you and focus on hold&acquiring more without you will feel much more relax. Especially when bear market comes.

Yeah, the chance of that happening in the current dispensation is hard and such percentage probability is right, although we still have the possibility that Bitcoin goes against our prediction by dropping drastically in Price to touch or even go below that price, still if I should bet on this, I will bet in favor of Bitcoin not touching 50k or below again in the long term, so for anyone who is looking to buy Bitcoin, what they should be looking out for is when the price discount a bit to buy if not they missing out of buying below 100k already.

I mean when the bear market comes here again, I do not think this would be that much unlikely at all, seems like it would be a possibility and we could do it. I am not saying it would be impossible, all I am saying is that it would be possible and maybe it will happen or maybe it won't.

Considering how much we fall during bear markets, I think it's quite possible to drop that much. Usually a 70% drop isn't really that bad, so I feel like maybe we could have it again, for that to not work, we need to be vastly above 200k during this peak, but I do not think that will happen, like I can't see it go to 300k+ or something, that doesn't seem likely, hence I think it won't happen. Probably will see 50k and under happen during this period.

Im not so sure, but under $50k seems unlikely at this point unless some major crap hits the fan. 

The way I see it 2025 is gonna be big and  thats when governments really start sticking their noses in and trying to regulate everything.  So who the hell knows what happens then.  One thing I do feel pretty strongly about though - buying Bitcoin under $100k is gonna seem cheap in a few years.  Mark my words on that.  Once institutional money really starts pouring in, the prices could get wild.  Of course I could be wrong...  But Bitcoin under six figures wont last forever.

I am still relatively new to bitcoin but I have felt when those who were at $68k returned to the price of $15k some time ago even though now it is back comfortably at the current price but indeed all possibilities in the end can still happen including returning to the price of $50k because nothing is impossible. It's just that even so in the end this certainly does not make us stop being in bitcoin because precisely with the decline back in the end it can be another opportunity for us to be able to buy back in the end because indeed when that time comes then it will be a good discount again and I will obviously be there as a buyer to add to my current portfolio.

But for 2025 I'm still quite hopeful that it's not the end because even though we've seen bitcoin at $100k there's an expectation that before the bull comes it will be higher than that and I'm still quite optimistic that that could still happen before we get bearish again.

There is nothing impossible in cryptocurrency. At this moment if bad news is created which is against cryptocurrency then there is a possibility of dumping a lot in the market which has happened before. But at this moment there is not much possibility of market dumping because now everyone is a cryptocurrency lover, people of all countries are now supporting cryptocurrency or Bitcoin. I think 2025 will be a great year for Bitcoin. I will not support Bitcoin dumping in 2025 I will support pumping. I think Bitcoin market can create new ATH again very soon.

Well anything can happen but I doubt if Bitcoin will fall up to $50k my reason for saying so is that Bitcoin is becoming more popular and a lot of people are now having interest in Bitcoin and because of this Bitcoin is becoming more valuable, right now some countries are now buying Bitcoin and storing it as reserve for the future that shows Bitcoin will even hit $1 million as time goes on, Bitcoin was $100k before now and it dropped to $94k and as of today Bitcoin is $97k, recently Bitcoin don't go that dip anymore when it falls in price, that shows that for Bitcoin to drop down to $50k it will be very difficult if not impossible but since the world is full of mysteries and surprises it may happen when it happens it then means that Bitcoin will grow more than what it was before such fall if it those not then that's the end of cryptocurrency in the world and I don't think cryptocurrency will ever end it is now part of us and it will continue to exist.
The future of Bitcoin is higher growth not for it to come down in value and price, in the next 10 to 20 years Bitcoin price will grow more bigger and those people that are doubting now will live to regret just like those set of people that had the opportunity to invest in Bitcoin 10 years ago and refused, surely there will always be a dip in Bitcoin because of it's volatile nature however such dip will just be a little different from what it was before in price and we need to always see dip in Bitcoin as an opportunity to accumulate more Bitcoin with less price.

All depends, we can never be very sure, we can only sit and watch the way things unfold, but then, I would still say that the price of bitcoin crashing down to $50k is unlikely to happen considering all the important people and personalities around the world that now hold and still investing in bitcoin, this people and companies are not here to dump bitcoin any time soon, so I do think we will see the $50k price again.

But then, never say never, no one knows truly what the future holds, a major holder may decide to dump his or her holding for whatever reason, which may significantly drag the price of bitcoin down even to the mentioned amount, we can't tell, but we can only invest wisely, prepare ourself just incase such happens.

I don't think it's possible for the price of bitcoin to ever again crash to $50k and below, except an important holder decides to dump his or her bag which is unlikely if you ask me, seeing the type of development that is coming to bitcoin from Trump's administration.

Personally, I would even say that if it's very that this bull run will be running all through trump's administration and government in the US, depending on his decisions and implementations as regards bitcoin.
If the US succeeded in passing a bill to create a special bitcoin reserve in the states, other countries is likely to follow and we will be seeing (maybe) slow but steady rise of the price of bitcoin all through the years Trump will be ruling as the president of the US - this is just my personal speculation any way, it's not meant to be a financial advice or anything like that.

I Don't want to say it can never happen or ginx it then it comes to pass but with the nature of how cryptocurrencies work it's not impossible as they are highly speculative...but at the moment we leveraging big money ( institutional money) which means any opportunity that represents cheap coins means price won't be allowed to sink as too many whales are on standby...in short 50K isn't happening ever again!!! If you want to buy cheap, but now as the next target is 200K or a million dollars.

There's a chance but i don't think it will happen too soon or not all. The price currently have, the news, achievements (ETFs) is too good and it won't backdown for the time being. Price might go down in bear but 70k might be the limit. And yes, i have a feeling $80k-$90k will be the cheapest price we could have after few months from now on.

Since the price collapsed below $20,000 in the previous winter, anything is possible and we may see levels below $50,000, but it is unlikely to happen before we see prices above $110,000. We really need very bad news to see those levels in the next 6 months.

last was 2022 at 16k or so.

last year once we got to 70k we dropped back to 48k maybe 46k

now we did 108k. I could see a retreat into the 60's right near trump getting in.

but under 50 is tough.
