No one will bet on his club for free, any bet placed is for the money but it baffles me how people people pretend like they risk their money for fun, "who does that?" Let's be honest for once everyone need s the money that's why they bet in their club and against their club or another club they are not familiar with.

i am a sports fan before i am a gambler i watch sports and i bet on my predictions to amplify the entertainment and enjoyment i get from that sports i could not bet while watching a sport but it is always much more fun to look forward to the results knowing especially that you might win in the end so if your favorite team wins you are happy as a fan but you can be happier if you also win some money from betting on them

this leads me to thinking whether do people bet on sports they do not enjoy or are not a fan of? maybe there are people out there who are just really in for the money and they would bet on sports that are popular and they have a bigger chance on winning at even if they do not particularly enjoy them

personally i can't imagine having to sit and watch and analyze countless of matches of a sport i do not enjoy watching just to bet on them

to me gambling must be a complete experience if i do not enjoy the sport it will be difficult to get interested in whatever is going on but sports in general are quite enjoyable anyway there is always excitement and thrill to any sport regardless of where they are from i guess there are a few that people would consider quite boring but in general the most popular sports are not boring at all and you can maybe find a bit of enjoyment for each one it would just depend i guess on which ones would be your favorite

Almost everyone gambles on sports they are familiar with because they are already conversant with how the sports is been played and it doesn't make any sense to bet on sporting events you have no knowledge of because how can you even be able to choose a market for a particular event in that sports. Sticking to sports that you are accustomed to is the best because you will be convince that there were no manipulation if you lose but if it were to be another sports, since you have little or no knowledge about it you can just assume that they are being manipulated when you lose. I don't think betting on sports game that you are not familiar with is a good idea because it can make you sad when you combine them with your regular sports games and in the end it spoils your bet.

I took a few minutes to think of but I can't find any sports that I don't enjoy. Long games with no score changes like Marathon could be a bit boring to watch but they are too good to occasionally check for leads and the final moments. I don't bet much on marathon either.
Among the game I bet on, most of them, I enjoy watching. Football, Cricket, Tennis, Basketball are my top 4 sports to make a bet. They are enjoyable to watch. Among them, Test cricket is a long and boring one but it is also the hardest to predict which side would win and the draw odds too are higher which are negligible on other sports except Football.
As of watching just to gamble, in past, I extensively watched horse racing just to be better at betting but on my experience, you are better off looking at online stats than watching individual games.

But we have to also remind that if we goes for those games what terms and systems and the rules we know well and what we were familiar from previous we should only do these type of bet on that time.
Otherwise, in a unknown game what you have just informed and it will also true that you will not have all the knowledge of that games and about the rules also. So I think we should avoid these experiments if we don't want to have losses.
