Why take it so seriously that Trump can bring change to bitcoin? Indeed, the effect produced earlier when Trump was always active in providing different views in his pre-election promise about bitcoin made the market volatile but that does not mean Trump can control and make it seem as if bitcoin can be influenced by him because all will be the same where bitcoin cannot be intervened by anyone including Trump.

To be honest with this understanding where Trump is always considered as the bearer of bitcoin to the price of $100k is an exaggeration for me because after all even though it cannot be denied that Trump took a little part in this but his presence on bitcoin is actually not that influential so why think about Trump's words because in the end bitcoin will always be on its own path especially when talking about the future.

Why Trump seemed to be relevant in the crypto space lately is because of his campaign promises which he's likely going to bring in regulatory clarity in the crypto industry and also make US a crypto-friendly country with its Bitcoin strategic reserve, and therefore paving way for more institutional investors to come in, and with these policies he's going to enact will solidify investors confidence to invest. However, it doesn't mean that suddenly Bitcoin has become tied to Donald Trump and the United States to exit or surge in price, even though Trump failed to fulfill his campaign promises, Bitcoin would continue to exist with or without Trump.

Can politicians' promises still be trusted?
It's not that I'm not grateful that Trump has brought up bitcoin and even made a good case for it when he was campaigning but we should also reflect on the past because influencers, politicians or other influential people will eventually just capitalize on the momentum with bitcoin as well as Trump who has already done so.

Indeed, we will definitely remember the promises he has emphasized before but that does not mean he will do and realize his promises well not because there could be a condition where the situation becomes reversed because Trump has got what he wants as the highest office filler in the US today.

Although hope is still very much there but in the end we don't need to expect much that someone can be considered as the one who can increase bitcoin to date because bitcoin moves according to what has always been done without any intervention or influence from others because regardless of the existence of Trump or not bitcoin will continue to soar as time goes by.

Honestly still suprises me today that Trump did that but it will be looked back on as one of the most savage and wreckless/risky moves that he has ever made. I'm not sure if that would really backlash on him, and i'm sure it won't as he can always pardon himslef from any wrongdoing as President, right? This was definitely risky thought to invest in and personally if you don't get in at the bottom its never worth riding it out because if you don't time it right you could lose everything!

Hmm, We cant comment on anything for now, at least we need to give him a certain period of time to decide weather he was just using the Bitcoiners or this industry regulation to gain some marketing for his election or he wanted to promote his own pro-crypto profile to lunch his own coins, but as you there are many comments of mixed sentiments where many people found it crazy to lunch a meme coin and many thought that he just used the crypto market for his personal benefits and its unethical.

I don't stand on any side as I don't own any significant investment in TRUMP coin, for the Bitcoin weather it's a trump or anyone else they can manipulate for a short time but in the long run, the future of Bitcoin is quite in secure hands now (I don't mean any political safe hands what I meant is a community).

Well, it seems like Trump is keeping his promises. He freed Ross Ulbricht like he said at the Bitcoin conference. I'm sure he'll proceed as planned with his pro-crypto agenda. This new little "meme" coin was designed as an "experiment" to help boost President Trump's wealth (and popularity). So far, it looks like his strategy is working. He even has his own Blockchain called "World Liberty Financial".

I believe this will be the best 4 years in the history of Bitcoin and crypto. Just you wait and see. This is only the beginning. I wouldn't be surprised if BTC goes all the way to $1m by the end of Trump's second term (Jan 2029). See you in Mars.

Trump can used Bitcoin as a means to achieve his political ambition while Bitcoin gets more popularity from time to time. He understand how to used the moment for his own benefits as he launch $Trump token and we see the price increase in a short time. But we don't know how long his token can survive in crypto market because that will depends on his team to take care the project.

Meanwhile, the European Central Bank has stated that it will impose sanctions on any central bank (within the EU) that decides to create a Bitcoin reserve. The leaders of the European Union have set a course for the introduction of CBDC (central bank digital currencies).

Therefore, they perceive Bitcoin as a dangerous enemy. Donald Trump does not seem to perceive Bitcoin as an enemy. However, in my opinion, he is not its ardent supporter. Donald Trump has bet on stablecoins, which is how he will fight the European CBDC. Europeans will be more willing to use American stablecoins, as they allow you to receive income in the form of interest on your deposit.

As for Bitcoin, Donald Trump probably wants it to play the role of digital gold. Investments in Bitcoin will help fight inflation and keep it out of the US consumer market.

$Trump is literally 30-something on CoinMarketCap by liquidity, and yet everybody inside the crypto industry knows that it has no utility for anything except for making people money, as all memecoins do.

And you have a couple more memecoins in the top 100 alone.

Now think of all of the altcoins with real utility behind them.

Of the top of my head I can list AAVE, OM, Monero, FTM, DASH, XLM, ZEC, OP, ARB, POL, NEAR, even DAI is lagging behind.

That is an unholy amount of coins being ignored just for a bunch of memecoins.

Right now the only useful coins that anybody remotely cares about are are BTC, ETH, any stablecoin, XRP, BNB, SOL, AVAX and TON.

The rest are being overran by memes.

Lol. Like what you've said, this is just a meme coin with no utility at all, just pure token that promotes his political agenda.

Yes, he used bitcoin as his steppingstone for the election but can't deny that he really promotes cryptocurrency and no one's going to go back on those statements. They support those ETFs and a lot of major firms adding bitcoin as their company assets.

Trump token is just a personal token without anything on it, making him remembered in the blockchain, literally for political purposes. If they add some utility to it, nothing changes, there are memecoins with great utility that exists.

The extent to which politicians' words and actions match up cannot be believed until they are implemented. Trump has been widely publicizing his support for Bitcoin since last year to gain a large support from the Bitcoin community. Recently, almost everyone knows about his various initiatives with Bitcoin. He has supported Bitcoin and at the same time, it can be said that he has also indirectly promoted his own Mimi coin. On the one hand, political support and on the other hand, a big opportunity to create personal wealth have worked for him in a big way.

Anybody who puts his trust in politicians will be disappointed. Trump has fulfilled some of his promises but there is no certainty that he would execute all his campaign promises. He has created a cryptocurrency working group that is saddled with the responsibility of drafting a proposal for new digital asset regulations and also the viability of establishing a national cryptocurrency stockpile. Everyone is still expecting the report from this body which might determine the next move of the US government on the crypto industry.
