Because of the reasons that you have listed above, it is the perfect answer to why many countries governments and many individuals have been seeing bitcoin as a perfect tool for illicit activity, which is not exactly what bitcoin is for, and you make it sound as if bitcoin is only meant to be used for illegal activities; those who choose to use it for such purposes are on them, but aside from hiding black money, as you called it, anyone with pure intentions uses bitcoin for privacy reasons.

Yeah, Bitcoin is not as private as it is secure, per se, but it still may be used in such ways too.
But it's not the main goal of it and it is just used as an excuse to pummel it into the Ponzi territory by many big figures out there.
Alas, their FUD won't stop the adoption of BTC.

Yes, bitcoin has been growing for 15 years without any public moves by superpowers catalyzing its growth. But we do not take into account the various shady movements of bitcoin during this period. In fact, there is a lot we may not know about the rapid growth of bitcoin. And sometimes it is hard to believe that without the participation of strong capital of state market players (albeit not in public form) it was possible to reach the level at which bitcoin is today.

We didn't had world leaders or any big companies going into bitcoin before, and we do not need them to do it now neither, it's just not what we are looking into at the moment. We should be realizing that things will be quite different in this case, and because of that we can't make it change quickly. If we focus on how to make money with whatever we have at the moment, then we can't make it change all that quickly neither.

So all in all, we lived without them, we can do it again. OP is right about the fact that these leaders do need bitcoin more than bitcoin needs them, and that is the most important figure, that's how things will happen, and we can't make it change any other way at all. We could make things look like they are bigger than what it is, and politicians talking about it makes people happier than it should.

even though bitcoin doesn't need those people to grow, we can't deny that with the presence of parties like trump, institutions, etc., it has more or less made bitcoin reach this point. we can see how many people were skeptical that bitcoin could break through 100k last year, but bitcoin managed to rise significantly and print its new ath, that was because of the encouragement factor of trump who was elected president of america. so we shouldn't say that 'they need bitcoin more than bitcoin needs them' we all need each other.

I agree with the op. Bitcoin and Bitcoin community are strong enough to not require any particular state or private actor's endorsement to perform well. Of course, particularly influential people and states can affect the market because potential buyers/sellers can change their mind based on something that happens. But regardless of whether the impact is positive or negative, it's an open market, so there are usually corrections over time.
Bitcoin can grow without the US support, although it is easier when the head of the world's most economically and politically powerful state endorses it.

Well, I get your point very well which you are very correct that Bitcoin have made a ground breaking success since the past 15 years that it continuous to stand out, that is very correct, even without the government completely supporting Bitcoin as they already want to adopt it for for federal reserve, Bitcoin will not die, that's true but  if we are also honest with ourselves, we would agree that Bitcoin will thrive spontaneously if the government finally begins to acquire this huge sum of Bitcoin.

Bitcoin has already achieved incredible growth without corporate or government backing.
I think there are still that backs it. What about in yours or my country now? Bitcoin is allowed here by the government. That is what I'm talking about. As for the corporate, what about those big names like Microstrategy? Isn't they an example of corporate? And we know how much they love Bitcoin right?

Its value comes from the market's trust not from reserves or support from big players. Bitcoin's future will be shaped by how much people believe in it not by external factors
Trust alone won't do anything but yeah, investors needs trust first before they start investing. Big players still plays a major role here and you think without them we can see a value like $100k? I doubt it. I agree on your second and last sentence. They are only external factors anyway. What we only need here is the internal one.

Bitcoin has been existing without the Government, but why it's becoming more interesting lately and seems the government is playing a crucial role in the price increase is because of more money that will be melting into Bitcoin from the governmental institutional perspective and if countries completely adopt Bitcoin as a strategic just as the US government is on the course of doing so.

Bitcoin can grow without the US support, although it is easier when the head of the world's most economically and politically powerful state endorses it.

They can only influence the price but they can't control the growth of Bitcoin, the previous administration wasn't very Bitcoin friendly but it still thrived, despite the harsh rules and regulations by the then SEC chairman I didn't stop Bitcoin from growing, though it may had slow the process but Bitcoin is Bitcoin, it has shown great potential overtime, making it the best Cryptocurrency and even though this new administration is Bitcoin friendly, I think we would've still seen Bitcoin reach an ATH of 100k infact before the new administration came in, there's already been speculations in the past concerning Bitcoin heading towards the six figures. Just like the OP said, Bitcoin has grown to this point without mass adoption nor reserves own by a major economy, that's to say it doesn't depend on the government for growth, it's growth strictly depends on demand and supply of everyday users. Anyways there's no doubt that once the big economy's own a reserve, then the tendency for the coin going higher comes faster but what am trying to say is that the growth of Bitcoin doesn't depend on that.

Actually its not interesting because it exists without government. Lots of things exist without the government or country, that's normal.

What makes Bitcoin interesting is that it STILL exists and STILL grows with governments trying to kill it Smiley With big corporations scared of it and CEOs used to try kill it.

They didn't need Bitcoin at first, but now they need it to not be their enemy.

Which is good, but we still need more big guys to see things differently and work toward this goal  Wink

The point I'm trying to make is that Bitcoin will keep growing and getting bigger without reserves so we shouldn't see these things or people as the authors and finishers of bitcoin. Don't get me wrong, I'm fully aware of the significance of a bitcoin reserve in the US, but bitcoin doesn't need a reserve to succeed. It simply needs the market to keep trusting in it. Even with a reserve and people don't trust it, it will be worthless.
The reason for the talk of reserves and the reason for big corporations getting into bitcoin is to make a profit, which means they need bitcoin to make a profit, but bitcoin doesn't need them to grow and that's why I said they need bitcoin more than bitcoin needs them.

If Trump has good plans for Bitcoin reserve, I will commend him if he succeed but if we got play because of his words, the joke is on him because nothing will change. He wasn't the first person that wanted to do this, it was Robert idea but he step down for him and gave him some ideas which has earned him the support he needed to win the election, if he doesn't do it another candidate will go there and makes it happened and it will be a history as a Bitcoin campaign liar.

The worse that will happen is that Bitcoin price is going to dump but we ain't going back where we started, we will stay between this price of $90k and $70k continuesly before we take another run from where we are and if another strong institutional investor like Blackrock joined the raise of acquiring Bitcoin every day, the growth will bring more spread about Bitcoin to everywhere Bitcoin hasn't reach before. I forget to say that his meme Trump coin will be dead later.

I've been hearing a lot about Trump and other world leaders, big corporations, and countries and how they can impact Bitcoin and make it grow. While I agree that these people can impact Bitcoin, Bitcoin does not revolve around them.
You have a good idea of this. They have the influence that can move people to come into the market to make transactions that can make the price go up or can make it go down. They are the ones who need Bitcoin for their needs. We realize that their influence is there, but if we go back to the basics, then we realize how the cycle of needing more even though if we think about both need each other in the context of them we categorize them as users who are called people who own Bitcoin.

Is not as if we feel anything special when president Trump is making statement about Bitcoin, the thing is that, for the president of the united state of America to give support to business environment, trust me that business will definitely blossom despite the fact that it's already striving business, some people that didn't find the need to invest before, will suddenly start picking interest and asking questions about how the whole thing works. We understand how Bitcoin has evolved over the years without a direct federal support, because ordinarily it's decentralized nature allows it grow with or without their support, but we are giving credence to the Fact the federal Government under Trump's leadership finds it interesting to talk about the need to explore Bitcoin and give supportive statement to investors, which is a plus to crypto environment.

Alas, their FUD won't stop the adoption of BTC.
Many people are buying and holding Bitcoin because of the value increments after a certain period of time. People want to make money from their financial investment that's why we are seeing more people trying to buy more Bitcoin and hold so that they can make money money by the time the price of Bitcoin goes bull.

They need Bitcoin than Bitcoin need them which is why we keep seeing huge adoption not because they really want to keep it but because it is profitable over a long period of time, they have decided to buy and hold it so they can likewise make money from it. People are adopting Bitcoin because of the nature of the market since the price can skyrocket at any moment in time.

Bitcoin can definitely prosper on its own and gain massive adoption in time. But I can also see with the help of Trump or any big name that is very optimistic and supportive about bitcoin, that can boost and attract people to get into bitcoin faster than what is expected. So undeniably, bitcoin also need this kind of people, but that doesn't mean that bitcoin is completely reliant on them for future growth and massive adoption.

even though bitcoin doesn't need those people to grow, we can't deny that with the presence of parties like trump, institutions, etc., it has more or less made bitcoin reach this point. we can see how many people were skeptical that bitcoin could break through 100k last year, but bitcoin managed to rise significantly and print its new ath, that was because of the encouragement factor of trump who was elected president of america. so we shouldn't say that 'they need bitcoin more than bitcoin needs them' we all need each other.
Do you know what's difficult to achieve? Initial growth and the entities you named were not there when Bitcoin was priced less than a dollar, they weren't even there when it hit its first all-time high at $67k, people, especially big players, started to realize its potential only after that, and then people started investing in it and talking about it. Before that, media outlets and news channels used to show Bitcoin in negative light all the time. I remember the time when mainstream media was busy proving that Bitcoin was a bubble, but Bitcoin kept growing, and the initial growth it had wasn't because of famous or influential people.

Therefore, the presence of these so-called entities didn't help Bitcoin reach this point but they joined the party when they saw its growth and potential because they knew it can be beneficial for them and look at them now, making investments and earning money through it. MicroStrategy is a big example of this.

Bitcoin has grown so much without a federal reserve from the US or China. In less than 15 years bitcoin got a market cap of over $1 trillion without having presidents pushing for it or a leading economy having a bitcoin reserve, so why does it now seem like without these people or these things bitcoin can't get bigger than it is currently? Bitcoin got to this level in a time when there were so many regulations and scepticism, a time when some people made it their side hustle to make sure they shit on bitcoin, despite all these, bitcoin soared.
That’s what is called Fomo because maybe at some point people start to associate bitcoin’s journey with some events that are happening, when in fact it is not necessarily determined by those conditions even though sometimes the effects are a little more pronounced. I understand the term supply and demand better because it is in line with the concept of economics and maybe the relationship between the two is much more relevant. But the world is always influenced by some major events so any growth is always a connection and maybe that effect is what makes people associate bitcoin with the issue.

We don't need to worry about any events that occur because if we want to get benefits to achieve financial freedom, then take advantage of all the potential that exists so that the hopes we want to achieve can be realized with an investment pattern that is carried out consistently.

I've been hearing a lot about Trump and other world leaders, big corporations, and countries and how they can impact Bitcoin and make it grow. While I agree that these people can impact Bitcoin, Bitcoin does not revolve around them.

I think politicians have wised up, and I mean Trump for that matter on the real value that crypto brings to the table for them. An opportunity to take back control of what has been the greatest monopoly on money I think the world has ever seen even over the british pound! USD is truly a money monopoly of the federal reserve and with the IRS always breathing down the necks of American taxpayers its only logical to use as a financial instrument that can help increase the earnings against inflation. They definitely need bitcoin and it helps them loads!

I agree in your words because big leaders and big companies owners can hide their earned money only using the bit coins and if you want to hide money for any reason, who they choose. When an unfair leader wants to hide his black money, they do these things with the majority of the bigger ones using seed coins. And by using this bitcoin for retention money laundering, they can easily transfer billions of dollars. That’s why domestic political leaders use this bitcoin. And a lot of good work can be done using Bitcoin. If you want to do good or bad work here, you can definitely do it here. I hope you will always use Bitcoin for good work.

You guys are on point but then that shouldn't discourage anyone from using Bitcoin, it wasn’t created by Satoshi for money laundry or illegal acts but an alternative for fiat that can be used for transactions without any third party just that some people just decide to use it for illegal activities, that doesn't make it bad anyways since it's now mostly used as a store of value.

Moreover before the introduction of Bitcoin people still do launder the fiat currency so I believe if Bitcoin never existed, bad government and people would still have other means of laundering money there where still illegal acts going on back then.
