I've been hearing a lot about Trump and other world leaders, big corporations, and countries and how they can impact Bitcoin and make it grow. While I agree that these people can impact Bitcoin, Bitcoin does not revolve around them.
Bitcoin has grown so much without a federal reserve from the US or China. In less than 15 years bitcoin got a market cap of over $1 trillion without having presidents pushing for it or a leading economy having a bitcoin reserve, so why does it now seem like without these people or these things bitcoin can't get bigger than it is currently? Bitcoin got to this level in a time when there were so many regulations and scepticism, a time when some people made it their side hustle to make sure they shit on bitcoin, despite all these, bitcoin soared.
The point I'm trying to make is that Bitcoin will keep growing and getting bigger without reserves so we shouldn't see these things or people as the authors and finishers of bitcoin. Don't get me wrong, I'm fully aware of the significance of a bitcoin reserve in the US, but bitcoin doesn't need a reserve to succeed. It simply needs the market to keep trusting in it. Even with a reserve and people don't trust it, it will be worthless. The reason for the talk of reserves and the reason for big corporations getting into bitcoin is to make a profit, which means they need bitcoin to make a profit, but bitcoin doesn't need them to grow and that's why I said they need bitcoin more than bitcoin needs them.
You said it well, they need Bitcoin, Bitcoin doesn't need them but I'll tell you that they don't want strong and independent currency out of their control. They can't ban Bitcoin worldwide, so banning it individually by countries is not the best solution but now countries like the US try to gain control on Bitcoin. It's like, if you can't beat them, join them strategy. The fact is, if countries create a Bitcoin strategic reserves, the market cap will grow exponentially and Bitcoin holders will generate a very good profit but at the same time this action of their automatically grow Bitcoin. Imagine, countries invest billions of dollars into Bitcoin, lots of news gets written about that and Bitcoin marketing hits pinnacle, then other institutions join and so on... This results in growth.

The people both governments and individuals getting into Bitcoin now do not care about Bitcoin, all they care about is how they are going to make profit therefore we should never think that any decisions that the government propose is for the benefits of Bitcoin. It is not for the benefit of Bitcoin but for their own benefit and how they can make money from Bitcoin. Donald Trumps administration is looking for ways that they can make money and share between himself and his rich friends. This adminstration is only here to make money and they are seeing Bitcoin as a big catch. Without their involvement in Bitcoin, Bitcoin is still going to become more successful therefore none of them should see their involvement as more important.

They are helping with Bitcoin growth at the same time they are earning from it. I think we could all agree that they are using it for profit and gain more attention, but both parties are gaining from it, they aren't losing anything from this situation. Bitcoin has already made so much progress and it has been so far from how it was back when it was just new to us, even without their help, so imagine how much more it could progress in the future, with all those big companies and name backing it up.

If someone has Bitcoin then it should be considered that he is making money while he says that the household expenses are not running because when he takes the profit and gives Bitcoin, he will get a lot of profit and money too. Everyone works with bitcoin for profit why they still save bitcoin after 100 years. Because it has become the one thing that everybody wants to have nowadays, that's why everybody says that we are not profiting from it when they invested money in it. There is no doubt that the company is not making profit, it is also taking more profit than us, because if it is profiting them, it is profiting us.After some time Bitcoin will become a name that will be invested in and still is but not so much now but it will be in a short time.

The glorious victory of bitcoin over its haters and inflation have made those who were against it come back for it. They see that they don't have any options than to join the bitcoin moving train or miss out. Of course, bitcoin doesn't need anyone to grow, and bitcoin has proven that several times in the past. What spike up the price of bitcoin is the demand, and that's why you see that people are looking up to government. If they start buying, it will make bitcoin price skyrocket since they're big whales who are only stacking.
And people did not give value to bitcoin but by now things are more interesting and even people that are hating on bitcoin are not seriously intrested just because of how the price of bitcoin have been increasing and they forget when they have been hating it and we things are now looking good they want to come back to bitcoin just because of the way things are now in other. And they don't want to miss out because a lot of people have actually missed out and now they don't want to miss out again and people don't have a choice, especially those that have heard about bitcoin and the trust is that bitcoin don't need them but they need bitcoin that is how it actually works and when bitcoin needed them not everyone wss there for bitcoin. And bitcoin out of the league if so many people and that is one of the reasons why some people keep complaining just because they can not afford it.

I think it's a win-win situation for bitcoin and its investors [whoever they are]. Governments, private investors and large companies have stronger purchasing power or ability than other ordinary investors - that's because they have better budgetary power. Governments are starting to believe that bitcoin is viable as a state reserve asset - while large investors including corporations also believe that bitcoin is viable as a store of value. The more demand that is created the more expensive the price becomes - that's the law of the market, so I'd say it's a win-win situation.

These people completely subverted the purpose of Bitcoin and its decentralized nature in order to adulate politicians and billionaires who don't care at all about Bitcoin, neither about their fans.
This right here is the problem. Bitcoin was already doing well without all these people. When bitcoin crashed from 69k to 19k, it picked itself up and got back to 60k without the help of any world leader or any top country. It did that because it's a coin that is built to be trusted and it got the trust it deserved. People who campaigned against bitcoin when it was not big are now treated as the forefathers of bitcoin because they have joined the train now that it has survived above their imaginations. This takes the credit away from bitcoin and how it was built and gives it to someone else. We needed the Trump pump tbh and good for us we got it. Before Trump got elected bitcoin was around 60-70k if I remember right. As we got closer to the election day price began to climb and eventually it went above $100k. Lots of people doubled or even tripled their live savings thanks to Mr President.
Bitcoin would still survive under Biden but we wouldn’t get that price action which we had under Trump. I am grateful that people in the US made the right choice.
Like I said, I know what the Trump pump did for bicoin, but do you really believe we would not have gotten bitcoin at 100k? We would have. It would mostly not be last year, but we would have seen it this year. Remember that even before Trump started running for his second term, a lot of people have already predicted bitcoin to hit 100k to 200k in 2025, which is a year after the halving.

In as much as Bitcoin has created a name for it self and also been a decentralized currency, it also need people, I mean top notch investors to come in an keep the system going. There is is common saying that "there is no business or rather no successfully business without a customer". What am I saying in ensence is that bitcoin also need top investors, crypto icons and other great dignitaries to skyrocket or energized the system to it peaks. Thank you

Bitcoin will keep growing and getting bigger without control from those countries. More people will believe in Bitcoin and will use Bitcoin. We need Bitcoin more than Bitcoin needs us because if we don't use Bitcoin, people out there will surely want to have and use Bitcoin.
Bitcoin doesn't need those who can not believe the benefits of Bitcoin. So Bitcoin will still gain popularity and more people will come and see the advantages of Bitcoin for them. But when the big country can give their support to Bitcoin, that will of course help the Bitcoin popularity and make more people believe in Bitcoin.

To a certain extent, we also need them. At least we need them to leave us alone. It doesn't matter whether they support Bitcoin or not. But at least they should also not make it hard for anybody to get into it if they wish to.
We've been saying we don't need them, but since they hold the reins of power and we belong to a society ran by them, we have no choice but to at least earn their indifference. Otherwise, if they go against us and make it a crime to support Bitcoin in any way, they might kill adoption.

Agreed on this take. That's why a compromise is needed because otherwise, it's a war that's going in one direction - nowhere.

bitcoin doesn't depend on big corporations or governments to succeed. It's already grown significantly despite skepticism and regulation. Its value comes from people trusting it not from having an official reserve or approval. Bitcoin will keep growing as long as the market believes in it.

I think we have no choice, we still need them. Because if they say we don't need them, what if a big country like the US adopts the same stance as China and makes Bitcoin trading illegal? That would really put us in a tough spot. I believe we have to accept that the key to widespread Bitcoin adoption is friendly regulation among major countries. So, we need the US and other big countries to be positive about Bitcoin, ensuring its adoption continues to grow.
Exactly, more big players are needed in Bitcoin tho keep it growing and increasing the market cap significantly, Bitcoin needs everyone, both small investors and big players like government investing into it as strategic reserve which might last for a long time, giving it a long-term value upon such investment. Bitcoin isn't owned by anybody, hence everybody's involvement plays a vital role in it's performance, so governmental support is very key to better adoption in countries of concern. Having a government like US invest into Bitcoin as it's strategic reserve asset would see many Americans take it seriously and possibly ally countries can follow suit and the adoption continues to increase and it brings positivity to Bitcoin.

Bitcoin has already achieved incredible growth without corporate or government backing. Its value comes from the market's trust not from reserves or support from big players. Bitcoin's future will be shaped by how much people believe in it not by external factors

Its value comes from the things that BTC upholds and stands for. Then it turns to trust from all the people and institutions alike, and only then - into the value we usually speak of, I mean the exchange price of BTC

It’s undeniable that we did see an impressive price increase for bitcoin when Donald Trump won the election. However, let’s not forget that bitcoin itself was already well established long ago before Trump owns its position right now. So bitcoin will still make it reaching $100k or above, but we can’t tell exactly when it’s gonna happen as there is also price fluctuations happening every now and then. Clearly, Trump is just a bonus for bitcoin, bitcoin itself has already possess high potentials to reach its new all time high, with or without Trump.

Trump is a politician, first and foremost. He is not a crypto enthusiast, and that's why we shouldn't look at him all the time. He is a wild card.

To be honest, I like the old days when Bitcoin wasn't heavily regulated and when there were non-kyc exchanges and mixers. I like the old days because Bitcoin was a new thing and I felt privileged to know about it and to use it. Pre 2017 Bitcoin was more decentralized and more anonymous and mining was more rewarding (for me it was mentally rewarding when you could mine with your GPUs, it was a lot of fun). Bitcoin doesn't need them for growth but they don't do it for Bitcoin's growth. They invest in Bitcoin for financial profit because it is a safe asset, and no one is able to block it. Their actions automatically increase the growth of Bitcoin and all Bitcoin holders automatically profit from it but I don't like it in the way that Bitcoin is getting more regulated and the object of business.

I also believe that Bitcoin doesn't need that to succeed but, in order for it to become successful in any other means we should see every cycle. There is a need for another source for it to grow in terms of market cap. That's why such advertisements and laws made for it by the leaders are going to help it thrive and become better. For every cycle, we are ignoring the fact that these events and market drivers and contributors are helping Bitcoin to get up with its market capitalization. So, whether we don't acknowledge it or not, there will be new things coming in for every cycle. And after this reserve, who knows what's next that shall drive the market more into a better bull run, maybe declaration of legal tender and more involvement of other countries to Bitcoin?

Bitcoin will remain Bitcoin no matter how it, yes they need Bitcoin more than Bitcoin needs them, Bitcoin will always progress without the help of anybody and that is why I will always believe in Bitcoin all the time, Bitcoin has been known fire the past many years now and without no any politicians, leaders and the government help and it keep growing to the extent that people who don't believe it are the once that trust it and want to invest in it, I know that some people will think that Trump is helping Bitcoin but from my point of view Trump use Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency to get the attention of people and he believes that if he uses the method it going to help him. Bitcoin will never get help from anyone but Bitcoin will always help people, when Bitcoin was introduced I knew that Trump would also be one of the people that doesn't believe it but now he is one of the people who believe in Bitcoin and always go and create his coin, no any country leaders on the president that can deny that they are not into cryptocurrency especially, in Bitcoin, including the countries that don't allow Bitcoin are investing in Bitcoin unless they don't want to tell the truth, no one can help Bitcoin but Bitcoin can help those who trust in it.
