I also don't really like slots, although of course I had experience playing them. They accelerate the speed very quickly and of course this affects our emotions, we can easily lose our temper and do various actions and bets that are not typical for us at all. Gambling is still something different from sports betting and I assume that it offers a bigger dose of adrenaline and fun and is therefore more attractive to a larger number of people. Reason is same as why everyone isn't just playing blackjack, when statistically you have best odds playing that if you done every move correctly.

Answer: majority of people aren't into blackjack, just like huge amount of people aren't that interested in sports. And slots are taking away any choices you would regret. You can't bet wrong when you have only one button to press. And then there's a slight change you could hit a jackpot. And this jackpot takes away the whole meaning of statistical ROI. As when player see the slight change it could happen to them, they want to believe in it. It's a different feeling waiting for 4x odd to hit, compared to jackpot.

There's no secret that could really be hidden on which no matter how hard you do keep that secret but still it wont be guaranteeing that you wouldnt be caught. You might not really be just that ending up on losing that entire monthly salary but also you can potentially lose up your wife or your family too. This is why you should really be that careful into the decisions that you are making and not just careless doing actions without thinking on whats the potential outcome or results.

He doesn't have to understand all that to play, he inserts his bill or swipes his card and the magic numbers on the screen do the rest.
