It's quite literally a massive part of your life, as you only get 16 of those waking hours, plus work to provide for that habit, that's 8 hours left at best.

So, waste about 1/8th of your free life on that?, makes little sense to me really.

Stop gambling slots if it is causing your eyes to strain! At least stop gambling for hours at a time. Maybe take a break, walk around, shake things up a bit! Maybe this could be your new stategy. It hasn't worked for me, but i've heard of this working for people quite a few times actually and I don't remember if its an actual strategy or just something I picked up along the way. I think what that does though just sort of refreshes you especially if you're on a shit streak and getting no where. Unless you have the chance to be given a high multiplier that will make us play longer times, I play slots with breaks. If my money initial deposit loses then I am going to deposit one more. Now if that loses too then I will take a rest and just do something else away from gambling.
I think we should learn that kind of strategy when it comes to playing slots because it's really easy to be absorbed by the games and we should prevent that from happening by taking pauses. Yes you are correct. We don't only need to give only attention to the time but also to the amount of lose. If you have just lose in 2 minutes and it's not the amount you can afford to lose it is just better for you to stop playing , you don't need to continue because you have only spent little time and you still have enough time to recover the money.  Time shouldn't be what we need to consider but the money that is involved in gambling should be the first consideration in gambling.

To find a malfunctioning machine is rare and winning on it depends on luck, as the house could check if the slot had issues. And casinos always state that "malfunction voids pays" which means the money won't be paid. So, the luck aspect of it is that they may end up finding out nothing wrong on the machine.
