Capital No. There is no league which will come and take over those leagues in the world. Where are the players that will come and take over this current once. And all the good players in the world right now is occupied and non of the current league teams will release their best players to another team. It is not possible. And all the best coaches too as said by others in another thread. The African Cup of Nations (AFCON) is not popular like those Clubside leagues you just mentioned.
And if anyone says yes, he or she should tell use how it will be to take over from these current Clubside leagues.

I think it might likely be possible in the future. because looking at the way things are going now in the world nobody can really predict what would going to happen in future. Although the above mentioned are the most trending leagues in the world right now, more especially English premier league they are the most popular league ever. So however, with their popularity I think it will quite long to see a league that take over from them.

It's possible, of course everything is possible as long as you can think of it, then it's achievable. These countries you mentioned are already very much advanced in football development and I doubt any other league would come close anytime soon. One thing is spectacular, which is that their government endorses football tho s very high level and they are performing well, maybe if government of other countries takes football more seriously, we could see measure ups in the near future

The Saudi big boys don't believe in developing young talents to become electrifying and great, they believe in signing retirement players from Europe or better described as Europe dumps. I think if they really want to have a place and compete with European football, they should try and develop their football system from ground up and not the top to bottom approach they're using.

What is constant in life is change and nothing can stop it so everything is opened to a change so therefore nothing can remain at a permanent position that's what I know for sure. But in this context I think it's very much possible that another league can as well take the popularity of this very one's but it all depends on the efforts of the League but right now I don't think there's anyone able to the task of this popular leagues so it's hard to specify if there's an upcoming that will take over them but in the long run I'm sure there would be.

Premier league was formed out of an existing 'first division league' when top teams deflected and started EPL. If they'll be a bigger league than what we have now, same thing has to repeat itself across other top leagues. But, to build a fresh league from scratch to beat the old ones is quite impossible. As the people's interest will barely change, despite how much funds is being invested on the fresh league. It has to survive challenges and take a whole lot of years.

The possibility is always there, but I can't imagine the process being that quick when these top five leagues took a lot of time before they got to this position.

I think it's simply a matter of money.

European leagues are usually the most popular because they have the best players.

They have the best players because they have historically paid the highest price for them.

South American leagues produce great local players but most of them end up in Europe because of the pay rise.

So, if Saudi Arabia or another country starts buying more and more talented players, eventually there will be enough of them to make that league the most popular one, because of the players.

We are still not there yet, as only a few key players have signed up for that league, but that might change in, say, a decade from now.

It is difficult, but it is not unlikely that this will happen.

The popularity of a football league depends on many factors such as the quality of the teams, the competitiveness, the presence of top-level players, the media coverage, the infrastructure of the stadiums, among others...

Certainly the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A and the Bundesliga have a significant advantage in terms of history, tradition, quality of the teams and the presence of top-level players, in addition to, of course, the strong media presence and a large fan base around the world that ensures them this important position at the present time.

The Saudi Professional League, as you mentioned, has made efforts to attract top-level players and improve the quality of the league, but it takes much more than huge financial resources to achieve the popularity they desire.

Apart from these, I would bet, with much less hope, on Major League Soccer (MLS) in the USA, the Brazilian league or the Argentine league, which also have a loyal fan base and a significant media presence in their respective countries, but lack more international attention.

It's not impossible but its highly unlikely. The leagues popular at this time are one of the oldest and consistent leagues and have always attracted money and good players.
But just spending money on bringing good players and advertising won't make a league popular, Chinese tried to do that in past, now Saudis are trying to do it but what they fail to see is even in European countries that except Premier League, La Liga, Ligue 1, Serie A and Bundesliga even the leagues that are since ancient time and occasionally attracted good players have failed to get attention. I don't think much of real football fans are following Saudi league.

Most of these leagues that you mentioned have existed for a very long time. They have gone through a series of transformations until they got to this standard. Other leagues can join these top leagues, but it will take some important factors, which include proper organization, the right policies, adequate financing, etc. The French, Turkish, Belgian, and Dutch Leagues could get to the top level.

The Belgium and Dutch league are WAY to small to ever reach a big popularity. I mean there are like 2 or whatever teams in each that are somewhat recognizable, that's about it. Sure everybody know Ajax, but who's next? Maybe PSV but that's about it.
Even worse in Belgium. They have a strong National team but the league is too small to play with the big boys!
France had their time in the sun with the crazy spending from PSG. Other teams tried to follow but now are broke because of these actions, beast example for that is Lyon.

Then their league ranking is also good. If said leagues don't gatekeep other leagues, then maybe? I mean if they were able to hold popular teams and create intense games then sure, but that's pretty much what the other leagues are already doing so unless there's a massive overhaul from existing ones, new ones can exist yes, but would probably have difficulties in trying to overcome the popularity of other leagues.

It also doesn't help that some of the players that do get famous on smaller leagues tend to leave them for bigger ones after growing (or after being paid more, which is most likely than the former really). It's no surprise since players carry half the leagues worth, or maybe more so no surprise they're spending big amounts to keep it as such.

I think is about the players, if the most popular players move to a different leage then the popularity will grow. And more popularity means more bets on those events.

A league, in order to be popular, needs a few things: a country with a strong football culture, good teams and, of course, good players. You mention Saudi Arabia, they only have some good players who left Europe because of the ridiculous money they've been offered, that's it. I don't blame the players, I would have done the same thing, but European football is another thing.

Another failed experiment was China, they did what Saudi Arabia is doing but then the government got tired.

It's difficult to elevate a football at this point because historically it's always been England, Spain, Italy, and Germany, then France, Portugal and The Netherlands. Even leagues like the Brasileirão can't compete with the main European leagues, their players' goal is to go to Europe.

So, to answer your question I just want to point out that despite all PSG's efforts the Ligue 1 is still considered a second-tier league, no, I don't think that any other league will become more popular than the 4 main ones.

Currently, Europe is still the mecca of football, especially in these four leagues. Talented players from other continents also want to move to one of these leagues because they will have a big chance to continue to grow into great players. While Ligue 1 is still below the four leagues, the level of competition there is very low so it seems very boring.
In my opinion, it is very difficult for other leagues to take over the popularity that has become the blood of Europe. Look at the UCL atmosphere, then compare it with the Copa Libertadores and the AFC Champions League.

No, no, and no again. At least, I am sure that this will not happen in the near future, for several years. Unless there is a massive collapse of the clubs and a weakening of the league teams due to, say, an unsuccessfully appointed leadership. But it is highly unlikely that such a phenomenon will occur en masse.

Once a league already establish and tons of teams and players are already active with this game with thousands of fans it seems its hard to overcome for a new league with this criteria it will become unless the existing leagues will make a poor decision making on their business and event organizations might probably leads to shifting of the players and the fans into the new league, as of this not yet happen people will stick to the known leagues. Still we are open to have a another league to enjoy as part of entertainment, the more the option the more good entertainment for the people.

Maybe the club in that league can invite popular player to their club and play for their team so people attention will go to that league. They can also cooperate with some business related to football so people will see that their league supported by a big business. They can use many ways to raise the popularity among the other league and that is a job for their marketing to find out what it is
