Hello everyone i am new to the forum, I’ll really need your guidance to help me understand the forum better, I’ve gone through some threads here in the Beginners and help board, but I think I’ll need more guidance I don’t know much about bitcoin but am open to learning.

You do not need any special guidance to find your way through bitcoin talk as a forum, all you need to do is read forum rules and make sure you read posts from established members of this forum this makes you understand the acceptable pattern of doing things over here and most of the time if you dedicate time.e into reading within few weeks you get used to the forum.

I usually tell newbies that Bitcointalk is big enough to give them information about any area of Bitcoin and other cryptos. Yes, it is important to learn from other sources, but you will agree with me that this forum is enough to make a novice become grounded in the knowledge about the Bitcoin space.

My advice is simply to obey the rules of the forum, study the materials here, and read from other reputable sources. Also check out videos from Andreas Antonopoulos.

I don't recommend trading for newbies because of its complexities. You have to learn so many things to become a profitable trader because starting without sound knowledge might lead to avoidable losses.

Andreas Antonopoulos has several books and personally reading books is more helpful for learning. With books or content written down on websites, you can search what you want very quickly with page, key words. It's more time saving than finding something in a video especially a long video.

Whenever I find myself in a position that I need to dish out some useful advice and help to newbies on how to effectively navigate the forum, I just remember way back when I was also in that position. I also had some people send me dozens of links and honestly I didn’t really get to view all of those links. I believe the advice that helped me grow to where I am today is to first forget about the earning opportunities in the forum and focus more on the learning opportunities, because one can only grow by learning and acquiring knowledge that you can equally develop and give back to the community, so then how can one give back if they haven’t really learned anything.

Many newbies here are more interested in the earning opportunities and benefits that the community has to offer and with this, lose track of what really matters.

Someone can learn from the board for he or she to  catch up on time to have crypto knowledge from the forum, which is what can help newbies to flow with people in different board in the forum because crypto are the major thing we are discussing in all the boards. If you are able to locate your local board in the forum, it will be easy for you to understand the rules that governed this forum because some local board leaders will use their language to explain crypto and rules of the forum to their local board newbies not to break any rules from the forum.

If you don't have the knowledge on how the forum work, you can pay attention to other people comments to learn to improve, which is another way you can learn to improve in quality post in the forum.

I believe asking of questions in forum as such is very vital if you are new, as you can see I'm also a newbie that is basically new to this forum. Everyone have the area of interest or where he needs to acquire knowledge from, weather you are new, amateur or an expert. Take for instance if you are looking for a thread on how secret codes to a Bitcoin wallet works, and you aren't specific about what you are looking for, due to the fact that I want to be an assistance to your demands, and I sent a link to a thread of an entirely a different structure, talking about politics, will it be a help from me? All what I'm driving to is, being specific, which matters most if I'm not mistaken. There are lots of thread to look into as a beginner of which I'm also on it, and if you can't get a thread or topics by yourself, you can ask by saying, you need help from the area you are interested to learn or to know more about. In that case, people are willing to help, and links will be dropped to that particular topic you really want. I hope this might help you and to other newbies like my self.

I have this [Bitcointalk sticky threads] Newbies - read before starting. for a long time in my bookmarks. At least I know where to find it.

The thing is, that newbies don't find it easily and I don't have a good solution for it, except constantly re-posting it when a newbie asks how to poke his nose for help and guidance. I guess we have to stick to a warm welcome mostly and giving those vital links to valuable stickies more or less unconditionally.

What newbies or not anymore newbies do with it, is up to their own. If you break rules because you didn't care to know them, it's your own fault. Live with the consequences.

Well everyone here was once a newbie, and we all once had the experience and faced it, but then we must not read everything or every link that we come across in the beginners and help board, because Most of those Links are not really useful at first sight because those messages where not clear due to their level of knowledge or understanding of the newbie at that point in time. But As they navigate the forum with different thread they will understand the previous thread they once visited long time ago that is why it is often hard to comprehend all link as a newbie at first sight. That is how I did when I was a newbie I only read some Link but as time goes on I blend along the line.

Many newbies here are more interested in the earning opportunities and benefits that the community has to offer and with this, lose track of what really matters.

Sure, a newbie with the mindset of making money at first will be misleaded to think that everything here Is all about money, and may leed to not contributing positively.
