You're right, I remembered that in our country last year every week someone won our lottery here and it even became an issue because it's rare for something like this to happen, for so many decades it only happened last year. Whereas back then it would take weeks or months for others before there was a winning person.

The gambling industry benefits both parties - but it is clear that it only benefits the casino if the gambler is greedy. We have heard that some people really managed to change their lives because of gambling - but after winning they stopped gambling and developed a business. If a gambler can't stop gambling - then no matter how much they win, I think they will just go back to being poor as before. On the other hand - if they use their winnings and focus on other businesses - then there is a chance they will change their lives and finances too.

Indeed. As I always said, luck is a major factor to win in gambling. If you don't have it then your chances to win is slim. Regardless of you're playing a skill-based/luck based, still you need luck. That's why we should not set our expectation high because it's really disappointing and depressing if what you expected didn't happened. Thus, it's necessary to condition yourself not to rely too much in gambling profit, because majority of gamblers are losing their money. Casino has an edge always.
