That would have been laughable if it were possible. At this stage it would be like saying if US and USSR were to come to a deal during the cold war years. That is fantastic news and exactly what I was suggesting in OP. People and governments of all countries need to start working seriously to diversify. As I said before they should just ignore US and start looking elsewhere.

We could see on that site that US is leading that's why Trump have huge confidence to implement that tariff. But its not actually laughable since those countries sanctions might unite and US might be in huge trouble if lots of countries would create an agreement towards diversification of their trades away from US. For sure with that US economy might be affected if that situation happen. But I really like to see country leaders step up and diversify their trades, so they can also scare US and they would think twice to bully China and other small nations again.

I could remember how i used to say it then, that Trump reactions may not be predicted until he emerge the office again for the second term, but we shouldn't treat him with the impression we had on him from the last term he did during his first tenure, the world should also learn from all these, by being independent of US, then they should all encourage for the use of their local products and reduce the importation made, same way the exportation should also be cut and lets see what comes in after all these are being done.

Initially the intentions of Trump was to scare the Chinese government so they'll run to him and negotiate term like other countries did, but his plans are not yielding much better results cause the Chinese government have refused to be bullied and are retaliating that's why the numbers keeps increasing from both sides, even though he increases the tarrif above 200% I think the Chinese government would've retaliate immediately so they won't suffer lose alone.

What's the need for all this things he's doing, does this in anyone relate to showing off superiority or is there something to it, I think he should rethink, anyone thinking that Chinese will come begging US doesn't not understand what mutuality is, Chinese are already on their own,  the are one of the strongest economy in the world, as a matter of fact they produce everything they need in their country, they exist independently, they only thing that can happen is what trump has done already but with time we'll know who the decision will be favouring or affecting.

If he can dump market and economy in his first year, he will have good foundation for good figures and records in his second or third year in this President term. Like Bitcoin market, even in a bear market, with mass crying people and their losses, if you look at yearly chart, after a big yearly red candle, a next candle is green that is green between start and close candles. That's good on tip of iceberg but during those green years, there are lower lows, bear market bottoms, and many people are disappointed even in those green years.

I think President Donald Trump is demonstrating the power of the US,kind of showing the world That the US isn't weak.

I agree but he thinks he is doing that but everything he has done so far has proved the opposite. Meaning before the illusion that US is still strong was alive among some people but now that illusion is being shattered for more people every day.

The world is seeing the true face under the mask now. They see millions of Americans who are protesting across US after the worsening economic situation. I see some points in your statement, since U.S is China's biggest customer and with the current increase in tarrif on China by the U.S president, they'll want to take their trade else where are sell more of their products to other top countries across Europe and some third world countries in Africa, they can't just stay without selling their products cause it would affect their economy so bad or force the to agree to Trumps terns on the long run.

Ser, this is WORLD TRADE, and that comes with the practicalities of being incentivized.

China can't lose the U.S. as a trading partner because that would mean other regions of the world, like India, would take the U.S. as a partner to get U.S. Dollars, which is more valued than the Yuan.

The current war between Palestine and Israel for the occupation of Gaza is only one in which Trump is directly and indirectly involved, Israelis are helping terrorist forces with weapons, not only with weapons but also with intelligence advice and military power. China is currently using the opportunity of the current weak international relations to gain more markets from the US. Although some nations still want to remain puppets to the US (like Australia), others might have started showing interest in gaining freedom from the US.

China is indeed the cheapest place to buy products because of the low cost of production. Certainly at this time the world urgently needs an alternative to the US. But I have some reservations about the world replacing the US with China. Who knows if a president like Trump can become the leader of China. The world might have to face the same problems caused by these global bullies.

The world needs to have more super economies so that nations will have options in choosing trading partners. And this can be achieved if more nations consistently develop local technologies that will make them less reliant on China or the US. Yes, some nations need to replace the US with China, but it should be a temporary solution. We shouldn't go back to the age where one country would hold the world to ransom because they elected the wrong leader.

And in as much as this goes, the casualties of the tariffs will be the US citizens but looking at the business model that most of the US cooperations have with China, clearly the profit margins charged is what's brought these tariffs in the first place...trump should have directed his concerns towards them as they are the real beneficiaries of these trade deals and need to find a way to broker a deal to get things back to normal, POTUS to needs to consult before making decisions.

Fortunately, you don't have to tolerate these bullies for a lifetime. They have a certain period. I guess you have to tolerate Stupid Trump for four more years and I hope the next president will solve the problem. So, the alternatives we talk about are not permanent, of course these are temporary solutions. Even if China got a leader like Trump, they won't be in power for long.
