For mining with the solar power you generate, I'll pass. It basically won't add up. First question is how much kilowatt of power does your generator supply on average as I won't use max since rainy seasons are bad for solar power. Nonetheless you'll likely end up spending more than you expect because I bet you wouldn't have enough power to juice a good ware setup.

Only upside I can see is if you probably get lucky enough to catch a block reward which happens 1 in a 100,000 times or less based on your hashrates. Anyways congratulations on your new born ❤️.

The best gift you can give the kid is creating an airgap watch only wallet for the kid where you put some BTC inside for the kid to inherit when s/he reaches the maturity stage. However, when s/he is at the stage to understand tech, crypto, and blockchain, you can make the kid learn some skills because sooner or later a lot of people will lose their job when humanoid and AI totally take over almost every setting.

It is good you start planning for your child's future, not an easy task to keep up for the long time he will need before becoming a full adult. If the child is your first, you might want to give birth to more children, do you want to keep opening new wallets for each of them. I suggest you make the investment a collective investment for him and those who are yet to come. Better to DCA than get into mining, it will be lot easier, able to keep up and profitable.

You just need a good percentage of your income to create generational heritage. 18 years is enough time to make the biggest changes in your family, if your children should get grounded into Bitcoin when they get of age, they may continue from where you stopped. A good idea to DCA and hold piece of Bitcoin is best.

I don't think solo mining is a very great idea considering how costly mining equipment can be, and one will need to have a good hash power to be able to get some rewards because mining difficulty is very high and there is too much competition in this sector. If I were you, I would instead use that money to buy Bitcoin and then keep them somewhere safe and find a way for my children or child to get access to them in case something bad happens to me all of a sudden and I don't get enough time to do all those things.

Life is uncertain, so we also need to think of a way that can be used to pass on the seed phrases or private keys to our children in case of sudden death because we don't know how we will die, it can be too sudden, or it couldn't, but it's better to be prepared for all the situations.

I think the best thing you can do for your child is to be there for them as a parent and take care of your finances so that you can provide for them till they can do so for themselves. A lot of people think that they will give birth to a child and the child will follow in their footsteps. They forget that when the child grows, what is the possibility that they might not want to have an interest in whatever the dad is doing because when they grow, they might have their own interests? And when you look at how people are used to making decisions for the child but no longer do. One of the best parental decisions one can make for their child(ren) is setting up a future financial plan for the child, this doesn’t only allow you to secure a good financial position for your children but also saves you the stress of looking for funds when you shouldn’t. Personally I will advice you start buying bitcoin timely based on how your income is as this will be like savings for the child and bitcoin been the coin used it will save you from inflation affecting the fiat currency.

As for mining, that’s a no go area now except if you have the resources to setup a big mining rig. For now the reward is for larger mining rig and anyone looking to get into Solo mining is usually tasky and not that price effective base on equipment price needed to set it up.

If I had those resources like yours, I wouldn't worry at all. If I know that I can sustain my kid until she grows up, then there is no problem to be worried about. Just prepare for the birth of your partner so that you won't have any trouble at that time and then the rest will depend on how things go. As I am saying, if you have resources, then there is nothing to worry about. You have to be a good father, a good provider so that your kid will go stress free after seeing this world.

In the meantime all the options you outline are good plans for your child. Mining is a great idea but even if you have free electricity do you have the finance to buy the machines. Perhaps you have enough savings before thinking of mining.

Since Bitcoin is not legal in my country, it will not be possible for me to be 100% dependent on Bitcoin and I will have to create an environment where I can earn income from Bitcoin but I cannot live my daily life dependent on Bitcoin. Moreover, Bitcoin may have an impact on my children's lives, but it will not be possible to manage their lives by being 100% dependent on it. So I will be forced to work while being dependent on fiat currency.

Honestly I will diversify.  Since we are talking about established financial status through Bitcoin alone here, it would be best to add more investment besides Bitcoin.  

We cannot say what the future holds, Bitcoin might soar in an imaginable height or Bitcoin might become stagnant or worse get dumped.  It is always best to have a backup plan, or something that can support us when one of our sources of income fails to deliver.  Aside from that not all years is a golden year for Bitcoin, so during those times of hodling, we must make sure that we have the other means to support our daily needs.

It is not bad to be a Bitcoin fanatic, but it is is always better if we have alternative ways in bringing profit in our table.  This way, we can make sure that the future of our family especially our kids is well supported by our income.

Haven to decide on verging your investment on Bitcoin alone can be risky when you don't diversify. Even if you have to split your Bitcoin assets in different wallets, you are still not far from same market surroundings rather you are accumulating your Bitcoin assets.

First of all, congratulations to you for finally seeing the result of your hard work throughout this time
I think that it's not necessary to immediately start saving for your kid, do not focus on that right now. Instead, focus on your own development, make yourself better in cryptos and use some money for that, to for your own development. I don't know what's your profession and whether you own a business or not but starting a crypto business or improving the current one will be a good idea. If in the next 5 years you manage to create a good crypto business with good income, then you'll be able to save more for your kid. Of course, you should create a crypto wallet for your kid and hold some coins like Bitcoin, Eth or other ones of your choice. With a good income, you'll be able to save more into his deposit. Also, over time, as he or she grows, teach him/her about cryptocurrencies and give financial advises, it's necessary for their success in the future.
