No, I am optimistic about winning and I am 100% sure that if I take a bet then I will definitely win. I may not win every gambling bet but I am optimistic about winning 60-70% of the bets. There are many who do not participate in gambling and go around preaching that they cannot win. This only discourages those who are hopeful of winning at gambling and puts them in a frightening situation.

I just believe being optimistic is not a healthy state of mind for someone who is regularly involved in gambling or sport betting, because we would be implicitly creating expectations on money we have not yet won through our gambling sessions, as simple as that. One cannot count on money one does not have.

Also, I think those who day that usually have in mind the reality that the house will be always in the winning side when comes to the long term activity of gamblers, there is a reason for the house edge to exist, after all, to ensure profitability of the casino and sport books.

Someone was bragging about how much he's expecting the next day, so I had to ask some questions since he kept saying the same thing; where exactly are you getting the funds from? I think that's The best way to deal with gambling, luck happens when you least expect it so there's no need to chase it... people who gamble occasionally or for entertainment can't get trapped in that delusion of trying to make money from it.. just like you said if you chase victory the opposite will happen to you, the game is psychological, only those that have mastered their emotions can get rid of the negativities that comes with gambling...Do not play to make profit, gamble to have entertain yourself, this is the only way to keep yourself under control.

As far as I know, most people only say that you can't beat the house. It means for the long run, we probably got more losses than wins. But this doesn't mean we will never win at all when we are playing the gambling games.

The game is of great importance, in poker everything depends on you, and in slots everything depends on luck. In poker, I think it is more difficult to play for money, because you need to know the level of the players with whom you sit down to play, and until you start playing you will not know this, and in betting you do not have direct opponents and you do not need to rely only on luck, so I made a choice in favor of betting. I don't say I can't win in gambling because I know gambling is a two way thing that either you win or you lose hence there's always an opportunity for you to win when gambling. I believe what people, they're trying to say is that gambling isn't sometime you can depend on for success because for the long period of time, you're not going to make profits but you'll be losing that's why many people don't like to advice others to gamble because they consider it a waste of time and resources because the house always has the better advantage over the gamblers. Well, it's my experience tho, it's not a smart way to make money in the long term 'cause it's not practical. Yes, you may win sometimes, even large wins happen like a jackpot, but holding onto it? That is the difficult part, that's where the addiction factor comes in, if you lose those money, you've won technically, you're a loser even if you've won. I've witnessed other gamblers go through the same, get lucky then blow it trying to get more. Even non-gamblers know the risks, it's not being negative about it or discouraging them, it's just the way the system is. We all know the odds are against us, so if you're looking for steady profit, gambling isn't the place for that. Don't fight the algo bro.
