In my country, Bitcoin is legally classified as property. It cannot be officially used to pay for goods (works, services), since the circulation of surrogate money is prohibited in my country.
At the same time, there are a large number of exchangers where you can buy or sell Bitcoin. Bitcoin is sold for non-cash or cash (issued in cash at exchange offices). Officially, the work of exchangers is neither prohibited nor permitted (they are in the gray zone).
At the same time, measures to regulate this area of entrepreneurial activity may be taken in the future. In particular, a national cryptocurrency exchange was recently created, where only highly qualified investors have the right to trade.
From this, we can conclude that in the future, the state does not want citizens of the country to own Bitcoin, but wants to use the first cryptocurrency for its own needs (in particular, to make cross-border payments).
I'm not surprised by the situation. In our country, laws are written in the interests of the authorities, rich people and large corporations. It is good that Bitcoin can not be controlled by anyone and we still have the opportunity to use Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies without any consent and authorization from the authorities. Bitcoin and cash is what we need to stay in the cryptocurrency realm and not be dependent on the wishes of those in power. I am eternally grateful to Satoshi for this.

Even though cryptocurrency has a legal status in my country, there are no place where I can pay directly in crypto. However it is not hard to spend crypto, especially if under spend means exchanging it to fiat or using not 100% legal payment method. For example a friend of my bought property and paid partly in BTC, and paid only a minimum cadastral value in fiat for it. On one hand he has avoided taxes and may be attracted to give an explanation of the deal. On the other hand, it isnt illegal to pay low if buyer sets such price and it suits him.

It is impossible to buy anything with Bitcoin in my country, but this does not detract from its value in that by exchanging it for fiat, which is what most people do, you have great opportunities. I think many will agree that buying a cup of coffee with bitcoins, as advertised earlier, will not attract so many enthusiasts, since many have begun to understand the value of bitcoin and will sell it in exceptional cases.

There are so many different rules in different countries, sometimes even BTC is banned, yet there are still BTC transactions in these countries. How does it work? Is it easy to sell btc in your country, or to buy something with it? What have you bought, for example? Or what are you planning to buy?
In my country Bitcoin to sell Bitcoin is still relatively easy, and even some local markets are already available to make purchases or sales of Bitcoin. However, to spend Bitcoin outside of crypto is still not possible, for example, buying goods or daily necessities is still not allowed, and so far what I see only allows exchanges to other cryptos and to fiat here. I hope in the future there will be new regulations that allow the exchange of Bitcoin for goods, services, or even daily necessities, and if that is allowed, I will even be the first person in my area to accept Bitcoin for people to buy my merchandise. And as for spending Bitcoin on something, I don't think I have any real plans for that yet, but I will definitely try it once it's allowed, because for me it would be an important history.

To put it simply, I must say that I cannot use Bitcoin in my country. The world is so modern yet my country is not adopting modern transaction methods. Although maybe due to political reasons, there has been no discussion about Bitcoin in my country so far. However, we hope that in the future, when most countries in the world approve the use of Bitcoin, maybe my country will not be left out. But now it may not be possible because the people of my country will not be able to use Bitcoin properly, especially the rich, who will misuse Bitcoin by laundering money and smuggling money in dishonest ways.

Selling Bitcoin in my country is not an issue at all, as the ban has no effect with the use of P2P form of exchange. But when it comes to purchasing of goods or rendering of services, that is one I have not really come across, not that it is not happening, as I think this will be on a face-2-face meeting for the transaction to take place. I sell my Bitcoin and convert it to my native cash in other to purchase goods.

Because currently, they are "non-official", sorta.

You situation is not much different from my country too, although in your own case, your government have not made any Stanton bitcoin and at that you may not be held for using bitcoin in your country, bit as for my own country, there is a ban on bitcoin transactions involving the banks, but yet there have been some regulatory efforts to adopting bitcoin and cryptocurrency in my country after government body language pointing to partial lifting of crypto transactions within Nigeria. Hoping also that there will be a change in this whole bitcoin adoption and regulation by many countries, much more also now that the United States is about to make their own bitcoin and crypto regulation.

We are living in the hope that while many countries around the world are taking important steps on Bitcoin, there are no updates in my country. El Salvador is taking important steps, including recognizing Bitcoin as legal tender, launching educational programs for primary and secondary school students, and launching a master's course on Bitcoin at a university in Spain. If the whole world continues to give importance to Bitcoin in this way, then one day, a positive decision will be made on Bitcoin in my country and yours as well. We are waiting for that day.

The cogs are spinning, and they cannot be stopped, only halted. I would say that the adoption of BTC is only the matter of time as of now.

That's how a decentralized system works that Bitcoin had no one can stop it even the government. The adoption will continue and keep spreading around the world. Fortunately, in my country, Bitcoin was recognized as a digital currency, but they didn't made it a legal tender the same as El Salvador did. However, many people here are now using Bitcoin, and it's very common in my country. It's very easy to spend using a mobile app, but not directly using Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies, you need to convert it into fiat and transfer it into your bank account.

It's still a great start and lots of room of improvement for the adoption of BTC that is going underway. So you have an app where you can directly spend BTC via converting it to fiat and use it to buy something?

I think that buying something bigger with BTC would attract more people - it's an effect of what BTC may be exchanged for - not for a cup or a drink, but for a car, for example.
That would require a deed of sale, and it would be easier if the law in a country considers Bitcoin as a currency, or at least regulates it. Otherwise, if that’s too complicated, it’s easier to just buy in cash and trade that Bitcoin for cash. For now, it’s not fully accepted for daily transactions, but hopefully, in the future, there will be some application or platform that bridges Bitcoin to make it happen.

It's not easy spending buying/selling crypto in my country, but it's definitely possible as long as you know what you are doing. Small amounts don't attract any taxes or prying eyes, but big amounts are a whole other matter.
It's never going to be as easy as dealing with FIAT for sure, but it has gotten a lot easier dealing with them these days thankfully due to world governments accepting the fact that crypto is here to stay.

Crypto has become one of the legal investment instruments in my country. Someone can make crypto transactions but most of them are through CEX. But BTC is still illegal as a means of exchange. And most people in my country still don't know about crypto. So in general BTC is still not possible to make transactions because almost everything like food, groceries, clothing or automotive does not have a payment option with BTC. But if you want to use BTC you can easily exchange it for FIAT. Even though the exchange is in large amounts like around $ 10,000 you have to wait up to a day for verification by the Bank. But if we talk about the community then I am grateful that I have a crypto community where we can make transactions with USDT or BTC. My friend once bought a car using BTC in 2023. And he bought it from a friend in the same community.

I tried to and it doesn't work, even now that Bitcoin is more common among the youths and the old, they choose to not spend their Bitcoin but hold for more value in future.
At one time I put a signboard about my business with Mark that Bitcoin is accepted here but I was warned by people to put it down because of bad people who can come looking for victim to prey on.
The Bitcoin acceptance option is still open in my business till today but it keeps getting boring and boring every time because no one want to use Bitcoin as payment option anymore.
