I don't think it's a good idea to put slot machines like ATMs in public places. There must be a specific place for slot machines so that, for example, minors cannot play.

In general, I don't see any point in physical slot machines at the moment, since the gambling business is moving entirely to the Internet. Then who is it for? Slot machine is not as secured as ATM, its chipboard+screen+electronics, easy to crash. It will be expensive to have physical slots in public places. Do you really want to defend your answer by comparing an ATM to a slot machine and why it should be placed in public spaces soon? I guess you are not getting it. I have already mentioned that it's not viable. Just think about it: slot machines were invented in 1894, and if it were possible to place them in areas where you think they should be, that would have happened a long time ago.

The first was invented in 1895 not 1894. And if you read your history properly you will find out that these machines were popular in Saloons.

I believe it is rather a situational approach, if you think about it. Anyone with an smartphone and some payment system available can already start to gamble whenever they please, in any casino they choose to partake in.
It seems to me the purpose of those machines is introducing people who have never gamble into the world of casinos and try to hook them up for them to stay in the long term, in the end, that is what casinos aim for to keep their profits high and stable in the long term.

I don't see this machines in my country and I believe the government of my country won't allow it, evn ATM machines in front of banks still needed to be watched by security guards, haven't you heard about criminals coming to uproot a ATM machine in the night when everyone is sleeping?

Also are there people that still play slots on physical machines today? I don't see this happening around me maybe due to where I am originally from, but I will definitely choose to play slots online rather than using these machines even of they exists here.

In my country such machines are prohibited except special gambling zines. And i think that it is right decision. They were everywhere about 30 years ago - in all kinds of shops, on the streets, in business centers, i don`t like to see it again.

And about playing on physical machines - i think it is interesting for the offline casino. It will be more emotional than online game. But visit offline casino only to play slots - it is bad idea for me.

All businesses, including banking and gaming, always want more profit and they are interested in such ways to see more money. Of course, from the point of view of normality, this is terrible, but as long as they act within the law, no one and nothing interferes with them in this. Yeah... I remember sitting in line at the hospital, and there the mother came to visit her son, they were sitting next to each other and talking quite loudly. She was asking him about the loan he had taken out. He replied that he had lost it in slot machines. Then she asked him about the second loan, and it turned out that he had also lost the second loan in slot machines. His mother was very upset, and it turns out that he went to the hospital for treatment in order to hide from collectors.

Hell, many places even go after claw machines and such for being too much like gambling. It's better to keep it this way imo. Slots aren't a children's toy although they look similar.

Lol on point, slots eats your cash all the the name of having fun. But that being said, I can understand what op is trying to say though. They are all forms of entertainment. We go to clubs or bars to have fun and gambling as well is to have fun so what will it be having just extra of it to make it more exciting. But then I guess everything has it's place.

Having a slot in such places might not be good for business as most times the owners of these bars or clubs use heavy money to prepare entertainment for their customers. If the customers begins to deviate their attention from the other things, they might spend more on the casino games, casino a draw down in the profits for the bar owner.

In fact, physical slot machines are really not needed, but only from them can there be sense and profit in those places where the presence of a smartphone is not very common, these are very poor places in the world. For example, a man after hard work went to a bar to drink beer with friends and decided to play with them, having lost all the money and having fun they go home, for example this option. And of course in most cases, as you said, a smartphone replaces everything for us, some, having drunk a lot, can lose everything they earned at home on their bed alone for several months.

This is the good old days of slot machine. I saw random slot machine too in my country on different locations before the implementation of restrictions on backyard gambling.

It's as you said. Now, anyone can access a site and gamble from their home, bar, beach, or wherever they are. However, for the owners of establishments like bars, putting slots is an extra income for them. And a good one if someone stuck with it.

Impossible to see it in my country because gambling is considered as illegal or as a crime so there is no chance for people in my country to see such a slot machine in public area (at least for now and in the next few decades).
It will be possible if the government of my country change the law and take gambling as legal things in the future.
Although the chance is quite low since our country is known as a the biggest muslim country, but it does not mean that it is 100% impossible to happen the future, maybe after few centuries LOL.

It is entirely different if you compare placing ATMs vs placing slots in random restaurants. Remember that gambling establishments (especially physical casinos) are heavily regulated by the government for taxes and revenue. You cannot just simply put a random slot machine in any place that you desire. You must comply with the laws governing the same before you can actually do that.

I don't know from what logic you are using to compare bank ATM machines with slot machines for playing casino games. If you could clarify your concept a little more, it might be easier for us to understand.

But at first glance, we have to remember that an ATM Booth is a machine that is necessary for us, but gambling is not a daily necessity for us that we cannot function without gambling.
But without money we cannot buy our daily necessities, so ATM booth is very necessary and for this reason, the number of users of ATM booth is also large. So we often see ATM booths in different places.
On the other hand, the number of casino games or gamblers is not that high if we compare them. Moreover, there are many legal requirements here, such as a person below 18 years of age cannot gamble, if they are given in open places, then this issue may be hindered.

I think that it depends on which country you are referring to, and as we (or at least in my case) don't know where Queentoshi lives, I wouldn't take for granted that she is used to see slot machines in bars.

In my country it was very typical to find one in bars even since before I was born. But in the image in the OP we can see three machines in line, which is a bit out of place because it is a bar and not a gambling room. What I have seen is a slot machine and a sports bets machine together at most.
