@zasad@. I am not quite certain why you have created a comparison of Blackrock and Coinbase with presidents that do not have control over their countries. Coinbase and Blackrock have a different type of relationship. This is business, this is not a government of a 3rd world country where this is politically unstable.
In any case, the argument you have used does not prove that you are correct.

Are you familiar with the works of British philosopher Bertrand Russell? He created the image of an imaginary, invisible porcelain teapot orbiting the Sun between Earth and Mars. This assertion is undeniable, but the absence of evidence doesn't make it true. We're not in court to prove our case. You claim that Blackrock doesn't control or own Coinbase, but I claim that this company is a shareholder of Coinbase through a complex network of intermediaries. Important decisions in any company cannot be made without the consent of shareholders.

Coinbase Board of Directors https://investor.coinbase.com/governance/board-of-directors/default.aspxIn any company, shareholders elect the board of directors, and the board of directors appoints the company's CEO. Top institutional shareholders include Cathie Wood's ARK Invest, Vanguard Group, and BlackRock, alongside major crypto-native investors like Andreessen Horowitz (a16z). Coinbase's dual-class share structure gives insiders — particularly Armstrong — outsized control over corporate decisions relative to their economic stake. https://www.revenuememo.com/p/who-owns-coinbaseBrian Armstrong has more control over decision-making according to company policy, but that doesn't mean he doesn't report to anyone.

@zasad@. Agreed that he reports to the board of directors, however, if you think Larry Fink can manipulate Brian Armstrong to do things that will be advantageous only to Larry Fink and his other investments then you are very much mistaken.
Brian Armstrong will do his job to encourage growth on Coinbase and he will always make decisions for the advantage of Coinbase. This is what will make the shareholders happy because why are they shareholders of this company if they want this to be not an advantageous position? It will be very headshaking.

It appears that the next big storyline for the new altcoin season that might be arriving next year will be on stablecoins. This news article mentioned Tempo. If you can buy the token very cheaply if this becomes available on the exchanges, I reckon we should buy this hehehehe. This is only speculation from me, however. But AI to AI agents payments will be the future of the cryptospace and stablecoins. Large corporations looking to modernize payments and AI agents making autonomous transactions are emerging as the two biggest growth drivers for stablecoins, executives of Bridge and Deus X Capital said Thursday at Consensus 2026 in Miami.
Lindsey Einhaus — who leads strategy and operations at stablecoin infrastructure firm Bridge, which was acquired by Stripe for $1.1 billion — said the next two years will likely bring a wave of institutional stablecoin adoption, especially for cross-border payments and internal treasury operations.
operations.
"Large institutions are looking to utilize stablecoins to manage cross-border flows and really collapse a lot of their account management into stablecoins," Einhaus said.
She pointed to payment-focused blockchains like Tempo, backed by Stripe and Paradigm, as key enablers for broader adoption. Existing blockchains historically lacked features common in traditional payments systems, such as refunds, chargebacks and private transactions, she argued.
The next growth area may come from AI-powered micropayments.Read in full https://www.coindesk.com/business/2026/05/07/ai-agents-and-large-corporates-will-lead-the-next-stablecoin-boom-executives-say

If this were a joke, it would be funny, but it's not. Account owner: "I see that you sent $100,000 to the wrong account yesterday." AI: "Thank you for your attention! You're absolutely right: I did send $100,000 to the wrong cryptocurrency address. What an embarrassing oversight on my part! Thank you for helping me improve. To minimize the stress of losing capital, I've prepared a list of top-priority recommendations for you:"

@zasad@. It appears you have not understood what will be the future of AI and payments in the cryptospace. This will not be human to AI transactions. There will be a small percentage of human to AI transactions. Most of AI transactions will be agent to agent. AI will be sending much transactions with eath other hehehehe. Your criticism is something similar with the people who do not understand bitcoin when they criticized bitcoin hehehe. It also appears Coinbase is including themselves in this storyline through their x402 technology. Amazon Web Services (AWS) rolled out a new payments infrastructure for AI agents on Thursday which is built in partnership with Coinbase and Stripe.
Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Payments" is designed for AWS described as the emerging “agentic economy”, where AI agents transact independently inside a single execution loop.
The first version of the system focuses on micropayments, allowing agents to instantly pay for APIs, data feeds, paywalled content and other digital services, often for fractions of a cent, AWS said.
Bedrock is built on Coinbase's x402, the HTTP-native payment protocol for powering agent-to-agent transactions with stablecoins, while Stripe's Privy wallet is being used as a payment connection.Read in full https://www.coindesk.com/business/2026/05/07/amazon-rolls-out-ai-agent-stablecoin-payments-platform-with-coinbase-and-stripe

I don't mind if you think AI agents can intelligently manage your assets and pay your rent, utilities, and so on, then go ahead and use it. My banks have had an auto-payment feature for internet, phone, and other services for over 10 years now, but I don't use it. There have been cases where these systems send multiple payments a month, and then you have to spend a long time calling tech support, which now has 10 people and 90 AI agents instead of 100. He-he-he.

@zasad@. I am not declaring that AI will be the best occurrence in the cryptospace because you are correct, there will be errors on their implementation . However, we cannot give a rejection to the roadmap of the companies and the platforms in the cryptospace on AI. They will create more platforms and make it certain that agent to agent payments will be the next big storyline on the bull market that might begin next year.

AI in the crypto space could become another bubble, and companies' plans may remain just that—plans. I've been seeing a lot of news lately, but I don't see these projects coming to fruition. Companies will approach such projects with caution. I see an increase in asset tokenization and a slight increase in stablecoin market capitalization every month, but I want to point out that companies are creating closed platforms where decentralized operations are impossible without verification.

@zasad@. Agreed! AI is certainly on a bubble at present. However, I reckon that after the AI bubble pop, there might be an occurrence similar to the dotcom bubble pop. There will be AI companies in the cryptospace and traditional finance that will do their success roadmap similar to companies like Amazon and Google.
Also, agent to agent transactions are only very much possible through the cryptospace because this would be difficult to implement in traditional finance.

OpenAI and Anthropic are currently losing over 10 billion dollars a year. China's DeepSeek has closed reporting, but their model was significantly cheaper, spending less than $1 billion on hardware. Google plans to spend around $200 billion on building its own AI data centers, purchasing Nvidia AI hardware, and producing its own Google TPU AI processors. These companies can't provide their services for next to nothing for long, and once the world gets used to AI products, they'll start raising prices. Hiring workers may even become cheaper in some industries.

I reckon that if more banks will adopt stablecoins on minting and issuing this for their clients, this would certainly make it easier for the clients to use these stablecoins for buying bitcoin and other cryptocoins in the cryptospace! I predict that we might witness a very different bull market compared to what we have witnessed on 2024-2025 where the pump on bitcoin was very much weak. The next bull market we might witness a strong bull pump! Banks have stopped asking if stablecoins belong in finance, now they're considering how
When Standard Chartered (STAN) said it would offer institutional clients direct access to minting and redeeming Circle Internet's (CRCL) USDC this week, it wasn't simply adding another digital asset service.
Rather, it was joining a growing list of global financial institutions building product offerings around stablecoins, the fiat-pegged tokens that were once retail investors' refuge from crypto-market volatility and are increasingly becoming part of the plumbing of financial institutions worldwide. Chainalysis estimates stablecoin settlement volumes could reach a quadrillion dollars a year by 2030.
Standard Chartered’s announcement came just days after BNY, the world's largest custody bank, expanded its support for USDC by allowing institutional clients to custody, mint and redeem the stablecoin using its infrastructure rather than building their own. Both Standard Chartered and BNY, which has $59 trillion in assets under management, are considered global systemically important banks by the Bank for International Settlements' Basel Committee.Read in full https://www.coindesk.com/business/2026/07/05/banks-have-stopped-asking-if-stablecoins-belong-in-finance-now-they-re-considering-how

There is more good news in stablecoins. According to this news article, USDC is widening the lead against USDT on transaction volume. I am very much aware that this is a news about USDC, however, this very much also shows that USDC and USDT have increasing transaction volume which implies that more people and institutions are using stablecoins and they are increasing every year! Everyone should remember this when the next bull market has arrived! Circle’s USDC stablecoin widened its lead over competitor Tether’s USDT by transaction volume during the first half of 2026, according to fresh data from Visa’s onchain dashboard.
In June alone, stablecoin activity increased to a record $1.79 trillion in adjusted transaction volume, up 63% from May's $1.1 trillion and 125% from about $795 billion in June 2025. Visa removes bot activity, exchange transfers and other blockchain transactions that do not reflect real economic activity before calculating adjusted volume.Read in full https://www.coindesk.com/business/2026/07/06/circle-s-usdc-is-leaving-tether-behind-in-the-stablecoin-volume-race

I am not quite certain where to share this news, however, it appears that the approval of the Clarity act might make the competition between stablecoin companies begin to become unfair. This unfairness might be witnessed on how the American government will treat stablecoin companies that are competing against Circle. This news is causing me to speculate that Tether might begin to have problems. This might not be a big sale from this CIO's stake, however, it might only be the beginning for more sales hehehe. Former Tether investment chief is looking to sell part of his stake in the stablecoin giant: Bloomberg
Richard Heathcote, who until March was Tether’s chief investment officer, is planning to sell part of his 1.26% stake in the stablecoin giant, according to a Bloomberg report.
Heathcote is working with PJT Partners to sell his holding in the San Salvador, El Salvador-based company, Bloomberg said, citing sources close to the matter. I've often read similar news stories about Tether having problems in the US. And those who benefit are usually behind this. Tether complies with all US regulatory requirements, and it constantly buys US Treasuries that China is dumping. According to its auditors' reports, Tether's reserves are liquid and the company generates billions in profits.

Is everyone optimistic on the passage of the Clarity act? I am beginning to be very skeptical on this bill if this will be good for the cryptospace, I reckon. I speculate that this new draft will include many wordings that might certainly be bad for the cryptospace and create a setting where the banks will control the stablecoin inflows and outflows. It will be something similar to what is presently happening in traditional finance but with more control for Jamie Dimon and his friends. The nuns will certainly support this heheheheeh. Rumors of the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act's demise have been greatly exaggerated. The crypto industry isn't out of the woods yet, however, for reasons we'll get into.

The new text combines the bills previously passed out of committee by the Senate Banking and Agriculture panels, and is the result of those respective bodies negotiating over various provisions.

Right now, all news about the Clarity Act is just buzz or opinion polls. Final approval in the Senate is expected in July-August, and if successful, the bill will be brought to a vote. The Senate will change members only in early January 2027, so the current Senate will still have the opportunity to pass the legislation during the winter session.

@zasad@. What are your speculations on these new additions and wordings on the draft of the Clarity act? I reckon the reaction of the mr. bald Brian Armstrong of Coinbase will certainly be warning sign if this is negative. We can be certain that Brian Armstrong is only protecting his business, however, what will protect his business is also what is protecting the cryptospace.
