Or just gamble what they can afford to lose, only use a small portion of their income. At least, even if they lose, it won’t hurt that much and they’ll calm down quickly after a few moments. You said such a gambler is stupid to take such a step, but they will tell themselves that they are wise and want to take advantage of the money they have at hand. An angry man in the sense is someone who is not peaceful with his heart especially in the situation that what caused his anger is an external factor not coming from him. I have this situation when a person initially came to the casino in a very bad mood and with the hope of winning the jackpot or another big win with the money he brought, for example, to pay off his debts or some other needs.
I mean those people who initially have unjustified hopes that they will win and, unfortunately, such people will most likely leave disappointed and lose, because of their such imbalanced state. They will be very angry when they see that their balance is zero.
