I just realized Pacman is back by seeing this thread, somehow the announced went under my radar but now im really looking forward to this, even if honestly I think Pacman is past his prime and I should probably bet on a Barrios win. Mario Barrios got the huge reach advantage here, Pacman will need to get in the pocket and really push hard otherwise he is going to get jabbed for 12th rounds and lose in an UD. I wouldn't say Pacman get's KO'd, his face is made of cement, perhaps a good bodyshot, but I would say unlikely. Crawford recently rated this a 50/50 gamble. I will see what the odds are before I decide if I pass on this one or put some money.

It’s not a massive amount for him since that’s pretty much been his usual range. He’s earned his spot, and with his recent induction as a Hall of Famer, the timing for this fight couldn’t be better. A guaranteed $10 to $20 million is already a solid payout, but the PPV is a different story as Manny is still a big PPV attraction, so they’ll definitely generate some impressive numbers from that.

I don’t think it’ll be much pressure for him, in fact, I believe he’s happy to fight Pacquiao. He probably thinks an older Pacquiao can’t beat him, and at the same time, the fight will draw more interest, boost PPV sales, and make promoters eager to offer a bigger purse. This matchup is like a blockbuster movie, so everyone wins.

I don't think Manny Pacquiao's camp is that negligent, I am sure they will protect their fighter from possible disaster.  They take the current match because they felt Manny still has his things being the champion except for the age.  If ever he wins, I do not think his camp will look for a higher division match for Manny, instead they might try to fight a more popular fighter in the same division.

That said, I am still with you in hoping Manny will fully retire no matter what the outcome of this match.  He doesn't have anything to prove since he has already proven himslef, plus the pot money is already huge to recover his losses from his activities in the past years if there are any losses.  I want to see him retire healthy since he is been the pride of my country.

I can't recall how Tank won against Barrios, but it could be the same blue print that Manny will have to used though. But Manny is more of a head hunter though, yeah he do attack the body to might soften Barrios as he is taller so his body will be exposed to him.

For the fans, we can all agreed on them.
