This is a rare moment indeed because seeing a heroic action carried out with a goal in extra time and carried out by the goalkeeper is clearly an action that might not even be forgotten by Benfica because with that goal they managed to regain the opportunity to remain in the Champions League at the last second. Maybe I can accept this loss and it’s still understandable since the mistake came from the draw option in the Barcelona vs Copenhagen match, because I placed a parlay bet at half time. But what I consider a truly ridiculous result is Napoli leading in the first half, then losing in the second half and failing to advance to the playoff round. This will actually be a life like scenario that will take time before it will happen again. The moment that all the Benfica fans have been waiting for truly came true, they where only waiting for a goal for them to qualify to the play off phase. One thing I will say about this is that, they only need to pray, for them not to meet real Madrid in the playoffs, because trust me, if they do, Real Madrid will definitely going to use the anger of this game and revenge back, and if they meet them, it will be very terrible for the Benfica fans. yeah, the funny thing in this match, when Benfica Goal Keeper scored a goal from corner. Not new situation, but this mostly happens when their team on lose posistions in the crucial matches to go to the next rounds. But, Anatoliy doing it when his team on win positions, a great decisions since the match almost ends, now his name will be in the UCL lifetime history, one of GK scored goal in UCL. and his opponents is Real Madrid. i never expected this happens

I'm not surprised at the poor performance of Napoli because I never expected them to be in the round of 16. They hardly take their Champions League matches seriously, they only focus on Seria A which is what is really affecting their mentality down to their performance because why would you care less about the biggest competition. It shows that they're not good enough outside Italy.

Napoli is not a very serious team this season in both the Italian Serie A and the champions league. They were doing well before but along the line they lost touch and derailed, since then they have remained a very poor and struggling team. They even tried to shake Chelsea a little and losing the match at the end of the day was not much of a shameful thing for them because it was expected by all those who are actively following the teams.

Arsenal is mediocre. Bayern tried and therefore is mediocre. Barcelona tried and therefore is mediocre. Like what the fuck, what is this sentence even?

They were knocked by one of the weakest teams in this competition. Benfica failed in so many matches against weak teams and successfully humiliated Real Madrid.

There have always been goalkeepers who go into the front for the final play, but I can't even remember the last time I saw a goal scored that way

I follow Portuguese soccer regularly and cheer for Portuguese teams in the Champions League or any European tournament, so I was very happy to see Benfica achieve this feat

From the start of the game and in the first 20 minutes, it was obvious that they are going to win this game, base on how they played the game. An absolute epic game by Benfica. It was like something taken out of a movie. 6 goals in total, two red cards for Real's players in the stoppage time and a 90+8 minute goal scored by a goalkeeper that just pushed the club to the 24th place, extending their Champions League adventure (at the expense of Olympique Marseille). It doesn't get any better than that. The joy of Mourinho's team and their fans was as great that you could have thought they won the entire tournament. Anyhow, they deserved the win.
It would be quite funny if both got drawn against each other in the play-offs.

Real Madrid did a surprising thing yesterday, because I expected them to easily win the match. Although Benfica isn’t a weak team, but even with that, I was expecting them to win or draw the match. For the fact that, Real Madrid really need this win, moreover Benfica played at home, so home motivation and moral will be in them, I expected them to to do well, but not winning against Real Madrid. Unfortunately they won they won the match.

As for Liverpool, although I knew their opponent is a weak team, and expected them to win the match but not with a big margin, I expected them to score and win, but giving that they are not in their best performance I didn’t expect many goals from them.
