I was thinking Manchester united has signed Michael Carrick only for my friend to tell me yesterday that Manchester united has not really signed Michael Carrick as a Coach but rather an acting Coach and I think it's because Michael Carrick has not coached before but he has been an acting Coach for sometime now and I can't really say if he is perfect for Manchester united because we can not tell about tomorrow but with the little I have seen him do in Manchester united is enough to take over.

It is true that Manchester united have performed well with the help  of Micheal carrick. United have done incredibly well especially against  the big teams. They have played well in all the four matches in a row. But Carrick has very little experience.

I think the management is still taking their time to examine a lot of things before making their final decisions but I do not think they will fail to announce some one who has achieved a good result and changed the face of the team in less than 2 months they have to consider giving him the contract because if they let him go and bring in a different manager the team will not recover again till next year because they are happy under Micheal Carrick. Usually you don't confirm a coach after 5 matches, even if he won them all. Manchester United made so many mistakes in the past years choosing managers, if they actually wait until the end of the season it could be the first smart thing they have done in a long, long time. No one is going to steal Carrick from them so there is no rush for them to make him sign a new contract.

It is too early. 4 games or 5 games is not enough to judge Michael Carrick. A reasonable Manchester United fan will definitely tell you. I think the fans and the team are tired of changing coaches. It will be more painful if at the end of the day they gave Michael Carrick a 5-year contract then he begins failing.
