As for next season, I have my doubt about some clubs you mentioned above.
Barcelona - They will compete 100%
Arsenal - I have my doubt, they will be good but will not fail to be clinical when it matters most.
Real Madrid - They will compete as usual, but will be better than last season.
PSG - They will compete 100%
Chelsea - I choose to replace Chelsea with Liverpool.  Chelsea will not compete, they are below par performance.
Bayern Munich - You can include the German giants.

Yeah you are right for now we can't say that real Madrid will be inform enough to lift the champions League trophy next season since they are starting with a new coach well I can't wait for next season let see what this new coach will do, let see if he will be able to control his players and make them play like a team, if he can achieve his players playing like a team then he has solved a big problem in real Madrid however Barcelona, PSG, Bayern Munich, and Liverpool are my favorite, one of this teams will lift the champions League trophy next season.
Inter Milan will not reach or go far in next seasons champions League because the failure of this one will not allow them play well, I was so surprised that PSG won inter Milan with such numbers of goals in a champions League final, they would have allowed Barcelona defeat them if it was Barcelona I don't think PSG would have won with that number of goal.

Every other team might be running around and signing new players that can make them stand fit for the champions League next season, except for Arsenal who are very comfortable in managing some of the problems that they have, they have issue of strikers, I'm yet to see Arsenal bidding for any formidable striker at the moment, don't be surprised that they might come to champions League with the same squad they came with during the just concluded season and yet they are expecting to win the trophy.

Maybe it is still too early to say anything because we can review like the previous season where PSG and Inter Milan were also not favorites to enter the final. But for the teams that are regulars in entering the Champions League, it might not be much different and always perform the same even though they did not make it to the semi-finals. Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich are worth considering because these teams have the ability and vice versa for the new champions because they will definitely try to do their best for next season.

I doubt Chelsea and Arsenal because these teams may not be able to maintain consistency in every season and instead I am more confident in Liverpool and Man City even though in the end they also failed to maintain consistency until entering the semifinals to the final.

I do not argue that there is much difference between 5 teams and 6 teams but just take a look at the teams that has the capacity of reaching the Champions League finals from the England teams and that of the Spanish teams. Even without adding Chelsea and Arsenal to teams that can comfortably do well in the Champions League, Manchester City and Liverpool are capable of reaching the finals and probably win it compared to Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid and Barcelona put together. However, the odds will change when the season starts but that doesn't mean that Spain will have a lower odd, England will still have the lower odd. Apart from Real Madrid and Barcelona which other Spanish team have won the Champions League? But 6 teams have won the Champions League from England so they still deserve some regards despite Real Madrid's dominance.

It is enough to look at the squad of Real Madrid to indisputably include them in the group of main favorites, their historical dominance does not matter at all. Even the last season, I am sure, would have turned out radically differently if not for the epidemic of injuries. Xabi has shown himself to be a qualified coach, so I think he will have time to set up his new system.

I think it's a bit awkward and childish to discuss whether Real belongs to the main favorites of lifting the upcoming CL trophy. It's a team that will always have a prominent role in European soccer. Like Barcelona, Bayern Munich, etc, huge teams. The thing is that now, soccer is different. We see 18-20-year old kids playing the sport like adults, without costing a ship of money or fancy marketing promotions. The shirt or the name of the team doesn't scare as much as it did some years before, nor the money that a team will spend. Now we see more teams that didn't have the history or the status of the so-called legendary clubs to take part and be straightforward contenders.
Last year, almost no one gave PSG a slimmest chance to win the title, but they did it. So, yes, there are main favorites each season and there are known but that doesn't mean that they will succeed. Real is now trying to turn the page with Alonso and bring something different. However, Real isn't Leverkusen, the pressure isn't the same, nor the expectations. I don't know how a manager can change a team drastically in a small timeframe, but we'll all be here to find out.

Lets talk about Chelsea and Arsenal which you said you doubt their performance to be able to meet up this next season, As for Arsenal, they have been on disccusions to get in more engaging players to boost their performance, we have the likes of: Benjamin Šeško and Martín Zubimendi, while if we are to go to Chelsea, they are in talks over the signing of Mike Maignan from AC Milan, so lets see how far they all could perform to make change this new season, while i also never underestimate what Liverpool could also deliver.

For the pure sticker issue, maybe Arsenal really needs it next season because relying on existing players is not enough. The fanbase is starting to get fed up with Arsenal's current condition because they have failed to win the title for three seasons in a row. Especially if we talk about the Champions League and the achievements they have had this season are much better than the previous few seasons, but this is not enough because it will be very difficult for Arsenal to compete.

Xabi will be a great coach, he showed us all this in the 2 seasons he spent at Leverkusen. They won the Bundesliga championship and finished second at Leverkusen. This is a success that no coach could achieve, and he can do much better with Real Madrid, whose possibilities are limitless and whose squad is perfect.
