Serie A really makes me miss the old days. they are really struggling a lot in the Champions League. The results for Italian teams in the Champions League this week

Galatasaray 5-2 Juventus
Dortmund 2-0 Atalanta
Bodo Glimt 3-1 Inter Milan

It wasn't a surprise Juventus and Atalanta got beaten. I knew it could happen but I was stunned by Inter's defeat to Bodo/Glimt. I was expecting an Inter win or draw. With the scoreline, they all have a huge mountain to climb. The last time Italian teams failed to qualify for the round of 16 of the Champions League was the 2014/15 season. It will be too bad if it happens again. Amongst them, I'm having a lot bit of hope that Inter Milan can make it through.

A lot of us are ignoring the result of the game between bodo glimt and inter milan, I still cannot believe that milan lost with such goal difference although bodo is a team that is known to be very formidable and they have a good record of goal scoring but asides from that they are not supposed to be defeated easily. inter milan has issues with their defence and it's been that way since last season.

Bodo Glimt deserves to qualify, they have shown they can compete in the champions League, beating top clubs, it's well deserving. I was shocked they humiliated inter Milan by 3 goals to 1, a whole inter Milan was outshined by a small club.

Atalanta sold their hit man Lookman to Atletico Madrid, and it has affected the team performance recently, Dortmund is far ahead of them this season and the lost was predictable. I knew they won't win Dortmund even at their home stadium.

The second leg will be decided and it seems promising they'll qualify. You was perplexed?! Truthfully, if you've watched them against Manchester City and Atletico Madrid,  there's no way you'll be shocked,  these young players are energetic and have sticked to the basics 9f football amongst themselves. All they do is run, attack and defend tirelessly. I was shocked watching them play against Manchester City, but against Inter Milan?! I was more than impressed. These boys will definitely leave for higher clubs in Europe soon enough.

Club like Juventus is really out of the champions league because there is no way they will be able to win Galatasaray 4 null or 3 null to go extra time and I must say they really messed up and inter Milan is still somehow save because they can win 2 null and go extra time or 3 null to qualify straight up. I am not surprised that Bodo/Glimt won. But Bodo/glimt won the match 3-1,  I am surprised by this result. I know that Bodo is a strong enough team. They were able to defeat  experienced and strong teams like city and atletico madrid. So it is not unexpected that they  will play well in the home match against Inter milan. But Inter milan should have performed better. They were not able to resist Bodo/Glimt's attacks. Inter milan conceded 3 goals because  of their shaky defense.

Juventus is that one team I consider to pose false glory and strength, they make you believe from afar that they are some really top team that are really tough and you should be mindful of them but the thing is that, you will discover how far they are from what they portrayed when you get closer and that may be why the people in Turkey seem to be celebrating the Galatasaray win against them so well because for once they had taught Juventus would be a stumbling block untill they played against them, I earnestly wish for Juventus to eventually fix their team especially their inconsistent form, it will go a long way to getting them in a better shape.

FIFA to introduces a sanction for the players who covering their mouth. They do it due to the Vini's racism case. My personal take on it. I think it's too much. I have seen it many times players were covering their mouth while whispering the tactic with his teammates. Giving a sanction to it is just showing how FIFA lacks of idea to solve it.

Why don't just to put a tiny mic in any players, then the audio can be revealed only when there is a serious accusation about racism or something else? It will be far better than sanctioning someone who cover his mouth. Does someone else here thinking the same as me?

There is no adequate investment and the Italian football system is no longer able to create new talent to send to the big clubs. What you have just pointed out is of grave concerns because if the clubs are failing in europe, let it not extend to the national team.

Bodoe/Glimt has really been full of surprises this season. A team with a reputation that is not widely known by many people is now shining brightly, and it seems that it is not  just a coincidence that they were able to defeat Man City, Atletico Madrid, and now Inter Milan. Their battle is not over yet because  there is still the second  leg at Inter Milan's home ground, and I think it will not be easy, but if they can play like they did in the first leg, I think Bodoe/Glimt might  have a chance to advance to the next round. Bodo Glimt is one of the teams to watch out for in the UCL this season. I think this club has extraordinary ambition, backed by quite promising performances. Now, the second leg will be even tougher for Inter, even though they're playing at home. The pressure is on to turn things around, while Bodo Glimt can play more cautiously and focus on not giving away too many chances. If Bodo Glimt advance, I personally strongly support them.

Don't really know what went wrong with Italian teams in the Champions League.  All of them seem to be playing below expectations. Concluding that Juventus and Atalanta are out of the competition might not be totally correct. In the games of sports games, anything can happen. They could come up with some extraordinary performance and level up the goals they have conceded. It is not over until the second leg games are concluded.

Atletico Madrid finished their match 3-3. A draw away match is not a bad result. If they perform well in the home match of the second leg, they have a chance to qualify for the round of 16.
But it was unexpected that last season's finalists Inter Milan would stumble so badly. Inter Milan was stronger than Bodo/glimt. The Milan team is also quite experienced. But even then they lost the match 3-1. If bodo can keep their defense strong in the second leg match, then Inter Milan is going to be eliminated from the playoffs.

The way Bodo played at home was really interesting and they fought with passion which resulted in them beating Inter by a huge margin. However, if Inter can take advantage of their home ground and attack strongly in the next leg, then the match against Bodo will definitely be exciting. The fact that they scored three goals against the Italian giants shows how passionately they fought and how confident they are. In the next match, they will definitely try their best to keep their fight against Inter alive and qualify for the next round. If Bodo can beat Inter and qualify for the Champions League, I think it will be the biggest achievement for them.
