Been better is never the case, or how they tend to perform in this early stage of the champions league. If we can remember vividly well, the team that top the champions league as of last season to be Liverpool, they played exceptionally well, and they only lost to Ajax, their final champions first phase features, but at the later end they where eliminated.
The major problem is not how good you played, but how long can you played, if you can played very well till the last minute of the champions league (final) they should be when the praises should be allocated to them.
 Arsenal has been a good side for about two seasons now, but they have been unable to lift a trophy, I hope this season should not be as other seasons.

I am surprised that even with the poor run of Liverpool this season, they are still seen by the bookmakers as good contenders for the title.
The only clubs rated above Liverpool are Arsenal , Bayern Munich and PSG. I am very much surprised at the analysis though.

Liverpool might be underestimated this season following their incompetence but you do know one thing about them? They're title contenders and when they spot elite titles, they do not give up rather, the enticed themselves with flying stands and moving to edges to win games. Arne Slot been handled the managerial role, there's alot he can add to the club but there are basically some things he just have to bent over and fixed. Liverpool have been on losing streak and we know he's working extremely hard to fix it. Liverpool are not in there best form anymore and they need to rebuild it again if they want to achieve any trophy this season because with what they are playing currently i don't think they can win any title with the performance they are playing currently, Slot need to take actions fast before is too late because I don't enjoy watching Liverpool game because they will always disappoint at ends even small club are wining them easily, after the break is over let see if Slot will do the needful and arrange the team a little beat and make them perform better in the league competition and the Champions League. I don't think Liverpool will get very far in the Champions League. The fact that they beat Real was also down to the poor form of Real's players on that day. If they were to play 10 matches right now, they would definitely lose 7 of them against Real! That's why I can't imagine them winning the Champions League.

This is what I have been intending to say after seeing the list of teams and their odds of winning the champions league. Arsenal is the team with the least odd. Right now we all can clearly see how they are performing and they play very well. This should not be the case of their performance in the premier league of previous season, because it is very painful to see how they tend to perform in the early hour and let everything slips away from them. Liverpool also made that mistake in the last champions league, we all see how they perform in the early phase of the champions league and later they where knocked out by Paris Saint German.

Quite naturally this condition occurs now because after all we must be aware that with the conditions that are happening now, it is quite clear that with the current performance, Arsenal will definitely have a greater probability than other clubs and this is quite realistic in the league phase.

It's just that conditions like this can be very different when we enter the knock out phase later especially since it is a fairly difficult zone where there are always surprises that occur when that phase begins.

Liverpool is a good team that can surprise anyone but a lot have changed with the club, so much that we can easily predict how they will play in both premier  league matches and champions league. They have shown the type of weakness that we have not seen from them before so it is only good to expect them to bounce back next year. They are being beaten consistently in all their matches and that shows that something is not sitting correctly with the team now. When they recover and start winning some serious matches, it will be more convenient to expect something from them.

I dread to think what Arsenal's statistics would be if this team played in the Bundesliga instead of Bayern. In the Champions League, any prediction can be wrong because any team can break their dominance and often cause a defeat for a team that's often favored at an inopportune moment, such as in the knockout stage. I also agree with what you said that Liverpool should have capitalized on their opportunity last season to reach the Champions League, but that didn't happen because they weren't very consistent in the Champions League. Now the competition is much tougher and more intense, so Liverpool, and most other teams, will have a much harder time reaching the Champions League final.

Yeah it will be very difficult because two horrible teams are going to face each other.    But we can look at it from a positive side. One of them is going to get their first points at least!

Currently bookmakers are favouring Benfica to win. It's like 2.01 against 3.70 now. I think the same though. Ajax's defending is even worse than Benfica. There is a good opportunity for Mourinho to take a breath a little in the Champions League.

Ajax and Benfica will be an uninteresting match, one I should probably ignore. No one expects much from this team and I wouldn't bet on a UCL opener with a team like them either. The fact that neither Benfica nor Ajax have tasted victory in the UCL suggests that the quality of both teams is far below par.

Looking at their current positions, it is safe to say that they are the quickest to be eliminated.

These are odds given by the bookmakers I don't personally believes in these odds because to me this odds are not a true reflection of what is on ground. That Arsenal is leading the likes of Bayern munich, Madrid, PSG etc as favorite going into the champions League. The bookmarks are falling into Arsenal usual trick of performing to impress. There are allot of teams that are better than Arsenal I don't believe that Arsenal is the best team going into the champions League.

The teams competing in the Champions League still have a long way to go because so far, the matches have only been played in the group stage, and I think it's too early to predict who will emerge as champions. If you look back at last season, perhaps very few people predicted PSG would win, but they managed to do so. Bayern Munich and Arsenal have indeed been quite consistent, and that's not just in the Champions League; both teams have shown consistent results even in their domestic leagues. But will either of these teams be able to reach the final before becoming champions? This remains a mystery, as no one can guarantee it.
