Normally Arsenal has always been like that and it quite embarrassing seeing such awful performance from them every season and they made it look like they are not actually hungry for the UEFA Champions League title, now this season they have been in top notch in their form and performance and without doubt I see them and Bayern Munich to be the favorite for this year UEFA Champions League title but before you will know it they will bottle it, I just hope Mikel Arteta and his boys should just do something meaningful this season with their amazing performance so far.

If you look at the process that Arsenal has gone through in the last 3 seasons, it should be right for them to win the title this season and I really hope that although I am not surprised or disappointed if I don't get it because the competition in the Premier League is always fierce and Arsenal always has problems with consistency towards the end of the season, this team seems to not have a strong mentality when under pressure for fierce competition and I hope that can be resolved this season because in the last 3 seasons the problems that Arsenal have experienced have always been the same.

Yes Arsenal's consistency cannot be trusted, especially with their previous season performances coming up second or so close to the title but this season, we can agree they have improved. The defence for arsenal is really good, they need to double down on the attack. Arsenal need to be scoring multiple goals especially now that everyone is in good performance. When a team cannot be trusted to keep up a good performance for long, scoring as much goal as possible now is always advisable. I really believe they can lift a trophy this season, the attack just needs working on a little bit more.

The match will be a tough and competitive one, but at end, as still need a winner and Barcelona is not on my list as the favourites to win Chelsea in their home.

The match between Chelsea and Barcelona will be difficult for both teams, and I do not believe Chelsea will be able to defeat Barcelona the way we all think. Both clubs were unable to get 3 points in their last Champions League match, so it is difficult for me to predict which team will win the next Champions League game. Because Chelsea will be hosting the game, they have a chance to win, but Barcelona is also playing well and they will give their best to secure all the points.

However, Arsenal's biggest hope and chance to become champions is probably in the Premier League. And I'm sure they might be able to do it this season. I’m not rooting for Arsenal to win a major trophy this season, I know they have a good squad depth and I have seen they are a very strong team, and considering what must have happened right now for the transfer window, and they have always had a good squad depth so far it’s looking good for them, but I’m expecting them to go trophyless because I have seen this team and Arteta doesn’t know how to win a major trophy not in Europe, actually I was thinking Arsenal would win the Premier League comfortably, but when I see them play against Sunderland I knew Arsenal was going to drop so many points, they don’t have to loose games, just by playing a draw, and Manchester City and Pep Guardiola who knows what it takes to win a Premier League title, no no I doubt Arsenal is going to win the Premier League Title.

Arsenal performance was inconsistent last season, if they maintained first place, they could have won the league title like 1 or 2 times now. Arsenal has a record for playing well at the start of the season but getting weak as the season goes. If Arsenal had competed with Liverpool, I believe Liverpool would not have won the Premier League last season, when City was also struggling. Liverpool took advantage of their position and won the Premier League.

I agree with you, every team is fighting for the Premier League title this season. I believe people are writing Manchester United off because the team have not perform well in the previous years, but I believe they are showing a signs that they are also aiming to win the Premier League. I am not saying Manchester United can win the league this season, but they are competing for the title.

There has been an international break. But I don't think this will change much for Hjulmand's Leverkusen. They are far from being competitive in big matches.

Pedri is expected to return in December actually along with Ter Stegen. The others mostly in 22 and 23 November and as you said they might participate but I doubt they will be play for more than 45 minutes. Barcelona will try to avoid seeing them injured again after this time.
Chelsea looks favourite with the combination of the injuries in Barcelona squad and for the fact that they are playing home. The odds are quite close between the two teams. 2.3 for Chelsea and 2.7 for Barcelona just make betting interesting but extremely risky.

In my opinion, it is very excessive if Arsenal fans have high expectations for the Arsenal team in the Champions League competition because it will not be easy for Arsenal to divide their focus between the two competitions, the Premier League and the Champions League, it is true that Arsenal's performance is quite strong and consistent so far, there is no guarantee that it can be maintained until the end of the season and it will also not be easy for a team to share their focus so I think Arsenal must choose one of them and of course the most realistic is that they will focus on winning the Premier League title.

This is Champions league we are discussing here and no one is saying you should not root for the club you fan but it will not be wise for someone to see what is happening and still chose not to recognize it, that will be biased. I'm not saying Chelsea can not win the premier league but look at their performance this season and also look at the people topping and their performance. One thing I can not do as a fan is seeing my club not doing well or better in a particular season while others are doing great and I will say my club will win the league that will be magic and even some magic don't work in some occasion.

For me as well ...and by far because Arsenal right now looks like the best team in the world and a bit above PSG and above Inter too as this two teams are 2nd and 3rd place in my personal top 3 football teams in q4 2025.

Yes , you're right. It's still way too early to actually put faith in Arsenal thinking they will win UCL , but I simply cannot see Arsenal not winning UCL or EPL this year ...and they really deserve one of it or maybe both. I also would like to see Inter winning UCL again , especially with Chivu who won it with Mourinho in 2011. 

When it comes to the best team in the world my choice would be Bayern Munich.    They are in a monstrous form with still being unbeaten in this season. Arsenal are definitely one of the teams right behind.

As for Inter discussion I would also love to see it! 2 finals in 3 years but missing the trophy anyway... They aren't able to play the final matches in the CL as strong as earlier ones. We saw it against PSG last season.

Literally any team can win a tournament where everything is decided in the playoffs. I don't understand your pessimism about Liverpool. No matter how bad their league performance was, they always looked better in the cups. Incidentally, remember the season Chelsea won the Champions League – it was a crisis season for them, and they trailed the champions by more than 20 points, teetering on the brink of qualifying for European competition altogether. The situation for Liverpool is very bad, but everything could change with a change of coach by spring.
