One of them is that teams could lose a game in their domestic league and go to the European stage on their next game and win magnificently that you would be wondering if it wasn't same team that lost woefully in the last game from their domestic league. Both Chelsea and Barcelona are in good form at the moment the champions League is something both teams have experienced over the years they will not underestimate each other because Chelsea knows that Barcelona have an excellent squad same thing with Barcelona so they will be careful when they face so that one of them will not commit the players and use them to shine. We can clearly tell that, the actual drive for the champions league is different front that of the domestic games. Many teams, after getting a lost in their domestic league will tend to show a master class on the pitch on a European challenge, such as the uefa champions. This is the competition that is like a different ball game. Manchester City, I believe will not love to lost a game or this certain game they have with Leverkusen. This is where the problem start and if Leverkusen did not come out to play, we will see how City will press and occupy themselves in this game till the 90 minutes.

My predictions will be a draw or a win to FC Barcelona.

It is no news that Barcelona plays a high line in defense and that is something that the Chelsea coach will be looking to exploit with his fast paced wingers. If you notice from Chelsea's Premier League game today against Burnley, the coach rested important players like Caceido and was also quick to take off Reece James. Maybe it is in the intention of the coach to play Reece James and Caceido in Defensive midfield to ensure that it is Chelsea who win the midfield battle. I expect Hansi Flick to make some tweaks to his strategy and formation, he cannot keep maintaining same high line that everybody knows he plays, especially against a team like Chelsea that have very good attackers.

I know that Palmer injury has dropped Chelsea performance, but even with Palmer Chelsea can still do better. However, it will not be easy for them to beat Barcelona, and Barcelona will also not have the game easy. In short, both teams need luck to win the game, or maybe the game should just end in a draw. But I can’t really point out which team is the favourite to win the game at this moment.

The fact that both teams are in good form opens all angle for any of the team to go in and with it because from the look of things Chelsea are also not doing bad themselves. The match will be filled with goals that's one thing for sure am certain about, Barcelona at the back ain't that strong and that's been their weak point ever since as they always fail to keep clean sheet although their game today against athletico bilbao was quite different as they manage to keep the visitors from actually getting to score.

This is a rule and punishment that Luiz Diaz must accept and I will not take it too seriously because Kompany has built this team as a whole without relying on just one player, so there won't be a big impact when Luiz Diaz will be absent in the future, especially since Bayern Munich's performance is quite impressive so I am still optimistic that Bayern will be able to advance to the know-out round without any problems and even seeing their performance which is quite impressive at the moment, quite a lot of them are also favorites for Bayern Munich to win the Champion League title this season.
