Some of Chelsea goals were cancelled if not, Chelsea should be winning 4-0  by now. Yamal and lewandowski didn't perform as expected. Chelsea just scored another goal! By L. Delap. I am totally speechless, I never expected this at all from the beginning of the match. Chelsea really did well, they proved to the world YAHAYA they are the world champions today and Barcelona have just disgrace themselves against Chelsea, they should have been more coordinated instead of the aggressiveness because Chelsea is good in playing aggressive football.
As an Arsenal fan, I am now thinking of our game with Chelsea in the Premier League on Sunday, with this performance, I think Chelsea have a point to prove against Arsenal.

Manchester City on the other hand also lost 2-0 at the Etihqe stadium against Leverkusen, it is another game that shocked me although I blame Pep Guardiola for this because he underrated Leverkusen and played some of his second team players which has caused him a defeat he never expected because even when he brought the players, they couldn’t do anything because it is it was too late.

Chelsea were so good with their game, they didn't make many mistakes, their superior number of players allowed them to freely dominate the match. Barcelona kept trying their best, but Chelsea's defense was really difficult to penetrate until the end. Lamine Yamal couldn't do much in this match, he didn't have space to build a measured attack until he was substituted.

Really surprising that both Barcelona and Man City lost so easily. Especially Barcelona that got outplayed in every single way and lost easily 3-0. Man City lost at home against a team that isnt that good this season at all. I think on Barcelona match it was all over once they got the red card. Yamal isnt playing that well and is not in form currently and we can see it in their play that something wasnt right. I wonder how this loss will now affect Barcelona in all competitions

What was Pep Guardiola thinking when he made 10 changes from his first 11 that has been winning him matches. I will say this is a complete underrating of the Bayer Leverkusen team and we all know that in football when you underrate your opponents you stand a chance of being punished and Pep Guardiola just learnt that tonight. Your team lost during the weekend and decided to punish them by keeping almost the entire team on bench and fielding players that haven't played together for a long time simply because you are playing Bayer Leverkusen. I just believe that pep purposely lost this match.

I said there would be a goal in the second half and USG were the ones who scored it. Promise Akinpelu was left completely unmarked in the penalty area and scored the goal. Galatasaray's players looked very tired. The only player who came on as a substitute, Arda Ünyay played very poorly and was sent off with a red card. His first yellow card could've been a straight red card too! USG kept their first 24 chances after this win. Galatasaray on the contrary, made things very difficult for themselves.

The truth is that Barcelona's visits to the Stanford bridge always end this way. Chelsea has shown that Barcelona is still under them and would remain there. Manchester city has suffered a heavy blow from Bayern Leverkusen and this time it's going the reverse direction I must say. Manchester city didn't see it coming and were taken unaware. The truth is that gamblers have suffered some real losses from today's game because, the way Bayern Leverkusen is at the moment in their local leagues. Manchester city has all it takes at least to get a draw at Etihad stadium. Pep Guardiola really needs some focal training and restraining of his players to meet the champions League challenges because this night revealed how unready they are.

Galatasaray lost 1-0 at home to Union Saint-Gilloise.It was a bad defeat for us; at worst, it was a match we needed to draw, but we dropped points.We had many absences, and because we didn’t have players on the bench we could bring on, we were only able to make one substitution.We shouldn’t have lost against this team, at the very least, we should have managed a draw, but it didn’t happen.I think Okan Buruk made a strategic mistake in this match.

Pray for Osihmen to return from injury. From the look of things, without Osihmen it's harder for Galatasaray to win matches. I'm not surprised at the outcome of the match.

Chelsea on the other hand successfully got both a win and a clean sheet from Barcelona giving them such a rough welcome to England. Instinctively, I knew this match was over when Araujo got the red card. I'm very impressed with the Chelsea team display, I mean all of them. I love Cucurella for the way he married Yamal like a wife and couldn't let the teenager shine at all.

I think he made too many rotations and regretted it, but there was nothing he could do about it now. Substitutes couldn't change the score in the second half. I had bet on over 2.5 goals for this match, but the game ended with only 2 goals. I didn't expect Manchester City to finish the match without scoring at home.
Bayer Leverkusen played well and won. The players did their part. Knowing they were playing at the Etihad, they played to their strengths. They didn't take unnecessary risks, nor did they close down too much. They played a balanced game.
Patrik Schick is an amazing player. He scored another one today. I'd love to see him play for the team I've supported for years. Bayer Leverkusen is lucky to have him.

Very unfortunate performance from a bigger team like Barcelona, which many were given hope on winning or at least ending in a draw. I can see how suddenly the Chelsea fans have increased tonight from my area; everyone was shouting for the Blues. Even the Real Madrid and Arsenal fans had joined Chelsea to celebrate this huge and massive victory against Barcelona. The match results seem like a disappointment and a very poor performance from Barcelona in this particular match. Well, I felt so excited, comfortable and happy for this nice outcome from Chelsea. An interesting turn of event for the first match day live of the champions league in this game week. Who would have believed it or anticipated that both these teams would lose and they both couldn’t manage a goal out of both fixtures. Barcelona loosing by 3 goals to Chelsea while, Manchester City lost by 2 goals to Leverkusen.
Just how did Pep and Hansi Flick got all the strategies wrong in this, nothing ever worked good for them and they both were dealt a good blow for their troubles.

It is true that Chelsea is also good at playing aggressive football, but it has also led them to suffer red cards in their past matches so it's just that they've been lucky lately. The last time Chelsea stopped getting red card was against Tottenham which is about 5 games in all competition. Enzo Maresca really worked on the team's aggressiveness because they are more disciplined now. The Blues Are not just dominant today, but they are on fire this season, my expectations went the opposite direction, I never expected this level and again who? Barcelona who has so many talented players, with the return of most of the major names. Estevao The very young 18 Old Boy has crushed Lamine Yamal in this match, giving Barcelona 0 chances to come back or even create more than two chances for scoring. Let’s be honest, we all expected that Chelsea would perform good, but not to the point where they destroyed the elite defense of LaLiga.

If we look back at the last clashing match between these two teams, The blues has taken their revenge today with the same score as they got beaten in Bernabeu. As I always say, what matters for us as gamblers and football fans is what we enjoyed.

Sometimes you sacrifice one or two games, but you focus more on the games you're likely to win by making the right rotations. Most teams do this. Making it into the top 8 isn't easy. After all 36 teams are competing and not even a quarter of them will make it into the top 8. But securing a spot between 9th and 16th is also important for the play-offs. Last year, 13 points were enough to stay in the top 16. This year, 14-15 points seem like they'll be enough. The big teams are planning accordingly.

@pawel7777 My friend, Galatasaray's situation is entirely dependent on injuries. If injured players can't play, Galatasaray could lose to the Belgian team. I say this sincerely because they had a tough time in their last league match. If Osimhen, Singo, and Lemina recover from their injuries and can play with the team, Galatasaray has a good chance of winning. But if they don't play, the players Galatasaray recruits to replace them won't be of the same caliber.

You obviously know more than I do haha. That was a spot-on prediction. None of the players you mentioned played today and Galatasaray indeed lost to USG. They cannot blame it on the red card as Unyay was sent off in the 89th minute. I guess the Belgian club was simply better today.

There was 3 disappointing matches today. Galatasaray failed to defeat Royale Union Saint-Gilloise from Belgium. Both teams are holding the first position in their leagues, yet more was expected from Galatasaray. Victor Osimhen absence due to hamstring injury affected the team.
For Barcelona game, I should say that Chelsea victory was merited. They dominated the game, limited Yamal movements and scored 3 goals and they could add even more.
Manchester City is for sure the real disappointment of the day. At the time where the other two teams are doing good since the beginning of the season, Bayer Leverkusen isn't doing the same. They improved lately but their level is below Manchester City..

When I saw the red card I also knew that Barcelona has lost the match coz 10 against 11 is absolutely impossible in this case....But still, even without the red card definitely Barcelona would still be no match for the world champions. The pressure they had on Barcelona was really intense....And I must commend Cucurella for an awesome performance, he  was able to really contain Yamal, am very sure after today Barcelona will know who their seniors are   Chelsea  really have a way of proving themselves usually in every important matches. congrats to the blues for securing their 5th place on the table..
