Everyone's talking about Chelsea, yes, they got a fantastic win, but tonight we have a much more exciting and better match ahead of us. It's a match between Arsenal and Bayern Munich. These are arguably the two biggest contenders for the Champions League title. We may not see this clash again until the final. Who do you think will win this match? I'm one of those who think Arsenal has a slight advantage because the match is in England. However, Bayern Munich is a strong team. It's going to be a tough match.

I wasn't expecting Chelsea to destroy Barcelona completely. The game was pretty much over after a Barcelona player got a red card, but even in the first half Chelsea missed the chance to score more goals and humiliate their opponent. There's something wrong with Barcelona, they have lots of talent and great attacking ability, but their defenders are still pretty mediocre.

It is clear that Chelsea weren't clinical in front of goal and it will affect them if they meet a complete team that knows how to defend and how to attack like Barcelona but unfortunately Barcelona played with a man down, if Barcelona was the one that had that advantage Chelsea had I believe it would have been more than 3 goals in that match. I don't think something or anything is wrong with Barcelona, they only have a this idea of making a particular player the center of attention and which is not good, if that player isn't functioning then the team has collapsed which is what happened to Barcelona last night where their star boy Yamal was locked down by his fellow country man Cucurella, we saw how poor he was. Yamal only excel when he faces a team with a weaker defense and it is clear that he's not a big game player, he needs to improve.

Guardiola may have thought differently. Manchester City has been in slightly better form recently in the English league, but their home defeat to Leverkusen in the Champions League was a cold shower. You can't underestimate any team in the Champions League, because their presence in the Champions League already demonstrates their strength. Manchester City needs to accept this defeat and focus on other matches.

What was Pep Guardiola thinking when he made 10 changes from his first 11 that has been winning him matches. I will say this is a complete underrating of the Bayer Leverkusen team and we all know that in football when you underrate your opponents you stand a chance of being punished and Pep Guardiola just learnt that tonight. Your team lost during the weekend and decided to punish them by keeping almost the entire team on bench and fielding players that haven't played together for a long time simply because you are playing Bayer Leverkusen. I just believe that pep purposely lost this match.

I was seeing the players that were coming into the field and I was confuse one moment, what was he thinking from the beginning? Why bench Doku and bench Haaland or probably he thought because Leverkuen doesn't stand a good chance in the table, they are going to use them as a bonus point and then reserve his favorite staters in the game but it backfired. I'm not sure if playing at home is now a hindsight for a team to do well in the league, it's not working anymore.

It's highly disappointing how Gurdiola is buried and no more in the shinning light. There use to be time when teams used to be afraid of them. Leverkuen isn't bad but with this their best form, they don't stand a place with Manchester United of 2 years ago, they don't take chance in places like this unless it's knockout stage, semi final or final stage, they are ridicule right in their own house not 1 goal but 2 goals to nill, lmao!

I read about the news that pep was going bench 10 of his first team players 30 minutes before the start of the match. All I did was to quietly cash out my bet because I wasn't confident in the team winning again because these some of the players haven't played for some time and the ones that do play as substitutes haven't been playing well. I am convinced that pep was prepared to lose the match and he just wanted to use the Leverkusen match to give some of the players that haven't been playing match fitness and boost their confidence level because the December busy schedules are quickly closing in and he will need all his players to contribute.

Home advantage might not be enough deciding factor in today's clash. The better team will obviously win. From my little analysis both Arsenal and Bayern has shown consistency in the Champions League so far.

Arsenal has kept clean sheet in their last 4 games. I hope the continue the streak and which might eventually earn them the top position in the table. I think Arsenal defense is better than that of Bayern.

Barcelona currently sits in 15th place. They lost to Chelsea and looked very inadequate as a team. Chelsea played magnificently and reminded me of the trophy they won in the summer. They played just as well against Paris Saint-Germain. We expect Chelsea to play like this every match. But in some matches, they play really poorly.

Barcelona have 4 points out of 4 games in Champions League which is letting them down in table but good thing they have chance of fight back but still they needed to be had good improvement in defense because in last 2 games they conceded 6 goals terrible situation for them.

Last night Chelsea took good charge of game and never allow them to have any chance of fight back injuries are having serious trouble for them in attack as well red card also done damage to them in this game while they were already down by 1 goal at the end of first half in second half Chelsea have 2 more goals. In other few games, Juventus have first won in this season in Champions League and Napoli also secure win which bring them in good position Bayer Leverkusen also secure their second win both are on road against Benfica and now against Manchester City which is big upset of this night.

Icardi has done his time i think. ok i understand that players coming back from injury can’t show full performance yet. but still it was a bad performance by Galatasaray. Victor is strong and good in the air and with his foot. Both players are cherished by Galatasaray, and I don't think comparing them or talking down on any player is the right thing to do. Any club can lose a game, and no single player is bigger than the club. Victor is shining because he has quality teammates..

It was beyond imagination that the entire Barcelona team would perform so poorly. When Barcelona conceded the first goal, it was completely their own mistake. If they had not been caught offside, Chelsea would have won by a much larger margin. But even now they have won by a much larger margin. They won by 0 - 3 goals, which is not a small victory at all.

Barcelona's position should be restored to its previous situation as soon as possible. If they continue to perform like this, they may be eliminated from this season very soon.

In the Chelsea match Barcelona had basically one clear goal opportunity only. Chelsea completely dominated the field. Chelsea really shows their quality in big games. No one even saw them as a threat in the uefa league, but I think this match has changed everyone's mind.

Galatasaray?s defeat was pure bad luck. Without Osimhen, the team lacked that attacking strength, and they couldn?t finish their chances. On top of that, some of the referee?s decisions were really questionable. they disrupted the flow of the game and killed the tempo. It really took the fun out of the match

I wouldn't talk about bad luck, but about bad plays, missed opportunities.
Luck when you don't play well really matters little, I would talk about luck or bad luck if maybe you shoot on goal and hit the post (in that case it's luck or bad luck it depends).
But if you don't play well it's simply a bad day, Osimhen is an important figure in finishing goals, he is absolutely missed.

It was mostly because of lacking Osimhen in this match mate. His absence affects them deeply you know. He has scored 6 out of 8 goals in the Champions League and he is even the top scorer in the tournament.  

There were missing players in defense and midfield too. That was why they couldn't dominate the match this time and gave lots of spaces. But losing 0-1 home is still too heavy surely! This means they are highly unlikely to finish in top 8.

Chelsea were playing very well even before the red card. After Barcelona's red card, they completely dominated the game. Barcelona had become a team trying not to concede a goal. The remaining minutes were very comfortable for Chelsea, and a nightmare night for Barcelona ended with three goals. Luckily, they managed to close the match with three goals, Because Chelsea could have scored more.

After supporting Newcastle and feeling as if they were going to win the match and boom Marseille had a different plan in place for them. That comeback was needed for them to boost themselves, at least the 3 points has made them to move up the ladder to 19th position. I felt that Newcastle had the game under control even though I wasn't watching that very game but for them to hold Marseille at home and was even leading showed they were in control but the second half changed everything with the Gabonese star being the center of the comeback for his team.

Marseille changed the game in the second half and forced Newcastle to succumb to defeat in the second half of the game. Initially everyone expected Newcastle to win because of how they started and how early they took the lead but the energy returned back when Aubameyang P. found the back of the net immediately they resumed the second half the fans helped them with their chants and the pressure from the home side made Newcastle to further become weak as Aubameyang P. got the second goal 4 minutes after his first goal. The win and 3 points is a great boost to Marseille they will be ready for the next encounter hopefully they don't lose again.

The long anticipated game of the night will soon be underway after the early kickoff of games between the other champions league teams. Although I have no clear favourites for the match that's why I'm going to sit back and enjoy it every step of the way. At least both team were well prepared for the game as the both won their respective domestic league matches against their opponents comfortably.
The game has kicked off, it is wise to have no favorites here just like you said because both teams are formidable at the moment, but if I really want to go with any prediction it is going to be Chelsea to win or draw or both teams to score. Chelsea has home advantage and i think they are going to use that to their favour. Barcelona on the other hand are not going to make it easy for Chelsea to win

Like you, my friend, i watched all the matches, but the one i would like to focus on the most was the Barcelona match, which conceded three good goals to Chelsea, who everyone considered as the underdogs. This match is a great classic and you can see how it goes, it's beautiful for this reason because it's unpredictable.
