Liverpool really played below expectation. I can't imagine them having 10 shots on target but was only able to convert just 1 to a goal. Whereas there opponent had only 6 and made 4 into the net. I could remember they also lose consecutively to their opponent (Nothingham forest and Man city) in their last two premiership matches. Moreover, they were just able to win just 1 out of their last 6 premiership matches. If Liverpool should continue in this form and the board keep watching, then the chance of making it above top 10 in the league table at the end of the season become extremely low.

It's not the fault of anyone who didn't think from the start of the season that Arsenal would be able to perform differently this season from what their previous seasons has always being like for the second place after having a good campaign. But it's true that Arsenal squad depth has doubled on improvement and with a strong bench to back the team should there be injuries issues which has being what has always cost them losing the title to a second place, but I so doubt that this season Arsenal won't win a major trophy.

I see this as quite a dramatic victory. Real Madrid won by 4 goal but Olympiakos also tried hard to equalize. Fortunately, Real Madrid defended well until the final minutes and not made mistakes like before. However, I will say that Real Madrid defense hasn't fully recovered.
