Arsenal should be easily finishing league phase with 0 point loss as of now. Considering their remaining opponent is Kairat... I really liked their effort against Inter though. I was happy for Gyökeres about scoring a beautiful goal too.

Top 8 could still change seriously. So many teams on the same points close goal differences. I'm expecting Barcelona to go in there by beating Copenhagen nicely. Chelsea might not hold on as their last match is against Napoli away.

I can’t remember when last Arsenal maintained all top spot both in champions league and premier league, last season by this time the team still struggle to stand firm and now with the right players and coach they’re unbeatable, Arteta is making every possible means to win a title this time around else he might get sack I guess that’s why the team don’t fumble whenever playing against other club both in premier league and champions league, honestly if they continue with the great performance definitely they’ll win a title just a matter of consistency.

I wouldn't really say that I am surprised to see Arsenal at the top of the champions league table at this stage. I think they are one of the best team in Europe right now, if not even the best. They have been very consistent in all competition and they also did well last season. They lost in the semi finals against PSG, the team that later won the competition.  I think they have shown some glimpses last season and they now have a better squad,  so I expect them to do better this season. I will not be surprised if they end up winning the competition,  because they have got the squad and I think they have had more experience now

This is what I'm trying to say, what if someone had told you last season that in 2026 that Arsenal will be at the top of the champions league league phase, I believe you would have had a big doubt, that's why I said I was surprised. The way Arsenal take this season serious I don't think they have been this serious before and how they play too has changed completely. Inter was the team I expected to make Arsenal lose their first game in the champions league but it seems they might finish the league phase unbeaten and it looks like it will be the way I said it for Arsenal.

What Arsenal is doing now is surprising a lot of people because this is not the Arsenal we know for some time now and all of a sudden arsenal become the topper  on the table and that is why till now a lot of people are finding it very hard to believe that Arsenal can win either the Champions League or the Premier League just because they are lost confidence in arsenal for a very long time now for a very long time and that is why everything that is happening now is looking strange to everybody because by now arsenal would have been in the second position people are just waiting for the knockout stage to see if arsenal will survive it. And that is when most of this people will. Be convinced about what will happen. And if they should finish the league on beating then a lot of things is going to change about arsenal and they have been working hard for this actually so they need to just do what is necessary because they have gone this far to be failing.

It was even done by the players, but it was not enough to make the public, especially fans, happy because if you look at some of the reports, only about 400 supporters went to Bodo and will be refunded for ticket fees.

If I were a Bodo player or a fan this would feel like an insult!

In short, Conte does not have the ability when facing UCL, so it's no wonder that in that match Napoli did not win even though they had the advantage of numbers, Conte was inexperienced to take advantage of what was available. Maybe it's his destiny if he is only good at domestic league competitions, Lol

The Atalanta thing though, that one that really hurt. They were cruising at half time totally in control, Scamacca had put them up and Athletic were looking lost. Then Valverde makes one change and all of the sudden it is like watching a different game. Navarro comes alive, two assists and a goal in like fifteen minutes and Atalanta's defense just evaporated.

In this match we really witnessed one shot one goal. It's too painful to look at deeply, how could Bilbao comeback with only a small number of shots, but that's what happened. I think Atalanta were very unlucky.

Even for now, even if Arsenal play with their reserve squad and for example lose the match, their position at the top will likely still be obtained unless Bayern get a victory with a very large score against PSV.

Currently Arsenal's dominance is still very much felt and I hope they can continue this trend in the knock out phase later.

Currently for the top 8 positions only Bayern and Arsenal are certain to get this for other clubs they still have to struggle for the last match. PSG's match against Newcastle could be a determinant for these 2 clubs in a complicated situation because victory can be ensured to qualify directly and when they lose they have to play off first. Chelsea could also face problems against Napoli on Matchday 8.

Premier League teams are doing well this campaign in the group stage but we can't say for sure if they will be going far in the knock out stages or even winning the trophy. Teams like Tottenham and Newcastle united are not really doing well in the premier league but somehow they are doing well in the champions league and only Manchester City among premier league teams is below top 8.

Nothing is guaranteed, but if we had to choose a club from which league is most likely to win the UCL this season, the highest probability is a club from the Premier League. Even the weakest of those 6 English clubs have a potential to play against the best like equals.
Tottenham and Newcastle are not doing that great in the Premier League mainly because the level of competition is super high there. It's the best and toughest league in the world right now.

You are absolutely correct though last season was almost the same strength but this season seems to be more and better for them than last season and I think by this time last season they were still topping in the premier league and I guess in champions league too but at some point they could  not stand it anymore and then Liverpool have to over took them and I don't know if it was what affected them in the champions league that they could not qualified for finals. I have a feeling they might win the premier if they can defeat Manchester united.

This is what I'm trying to say, what if someone had told you last season that in 2026 that Arsenal will be at the top of the champions league league phase, I believe you would have had a big doubt, that's why I said I was surprised. Observing from the way Arsenal has been playing from the start of the season, I never saw that Inter Milan will give them a very tough time in that game and would make them have their first defeat of the season in the champions league. I can’t say for sure if this is the only season Arsenal has been this serious but i must say that I’m very impressed with how long they’ve hold on to the first position on the champions league and premier league standings, it shows of a team that’s really to achieve it all this season after many season of trying and failing.

Yeah, I always thought Arsenal would like to win all there matches in the group stage, because it's not in Arteta's way to sacrifice matches because of the EPL, and plus there is another advantage, the second leg in the group stage will be at Arsenal's home, which is very good because that decisive match will be at Arsenal's home advantage.

What's concerning to me is whether Barcelona are going to make it to the top 8, because they face Coppengan in there next fixture and with there current defensive problems, I don't know whether they will succeed because they really need that break if they make it the top spot.

Right from 3rd position is not guaranteed for top 8 but Arsenal and Bayern already have their ticket even if they just decide to lose their next game. 18points can’t be dropped below 4th so even  if  Liverpool and Realmadrid win their next game there will only remain 4 slots for like twelve clubs, overall 14 clubs indicated on the bar fights for the spot.   Barcelona and Liverpool have high chance of winning in their next game , the rest are ranging from mid to high difficulty lol.

That is when it is very important to give the new management it flowers, indeed it is never an easy one, even though we know the long run will never be an easy one, well the start is something that we need to give them the accolades they needed. More precisely it's about consistency, Arsenal missed several chances in a crucial match which should be the perfect moment to secure their position. Arsenal's performance this season is just wonderful because I can imagine the feelings when they are at the top of the table in both competitions. By this time in last season's Champions League, Arsenal was still doing great because I recalled they got direct qualification to the knockout stages. What will annoy me will be if after all these performances by Arsenal and they still finish without any trophy, it will be so painful. As long as this season's Champions League is concerned, Arsenal deserves nothing but praises. I am surprised how majority of the Spectators here have decided to judge Arsenal based on their past performances and experience. We should first acknowledge the number of points that they used to qualify to the rand of 8. We should look at the number of matches that the place undefeated and then give them their flowers.

To me, even if Arsenal ended up not winning the Champions League, it does not in any way erase their excellent performance in this group stage of the Champions League.  Arbeloa comes from a tough era, so he understands what it means to suffer, defend as a unit, and strike with speed and precision. Under his management, that mentality is clearly emphasized, and with the current squad's pace, technique and quality, it's already proven that Real Madrid can adapt to quick counter attacking football. What's needed is consistency, clarity of roles, and trust in that identity.

It is a very big win against Monaco and that is always a welcome happiness from the fans, but let us see that kind of consistency against other teams as well, especially in the league Arbeloa mentality is clear!! defend as a team, attack with pace and utilize the pace of the players and that is all well and good, but le us see that against other teams like Barcelona, Man City or Bayern, then we can judge how good the tactics is.

Definitely this season Arsenal has been in very brilliant form and consistently delivered a 10/10 in every match or every competition, whether it's in English Primer league or it's in the UEFA champions league. In both major competition they are on the top of the head and honestly this me feel too fascinated about them. Mikel Arteta is trying hard from many years to get the trophy but unfortunately he didn't find any succeed but I think this time they are looking super favorite....

Apart from this, if we talked about UEFA Champions League competition, then beyond any doubt Arsenal is top form they are undefeated in the entire competition but it a competitive tussle and probably we can't determine that who can be the winner like in previous season PSG were the worst team at the beginning, but at the end they become champions. So anything can happen.

This season Mikel Arteta wanted to create a big for record for Arsenal and that’s why is ready to make sure Arsenal remain in the top spot in both the premier league and champions league, although that they didn’t expected Arsenal to remain in the top of the table till January; and in deed with their much efforts and encouragement by their manager they make it possible to get the best out of positives results against their opponents.

Yeah, we all know that consistency is the keys to success in football which I’m confident on arsenal that this season tha they will make sure to keep their consistency maintaining in order to get what they want in both leagues, because even the pattern of their playing is far difference from previous seasons.
