Napoli might be missing it as they dropped out of the top 24 because of that draw. That is quite a big deal to say the least because in their last game, Chelsea is waiting for them. And Chelsea has good reason to avoid the play-offs. Since Napoli's goal difference sucks as well, I think the only way for them to qualify is a win. It is quite difficult to perform well consistently in two competitive  platforms like the champions league and the premier league. Arsenal has  played well for a long time. But now their performance  has become a bit erratic.

Arsenal did not play very poorly in general, but games at this level are normally tight and contested on a small margin, and Manchester United managed such incidents. The swift conceding after equalising late was an indication of lack of concentration and not bad effort or tactics. I see arsenal like a team that is on a downward path because as at this moment, their level of inconsistency will really do damage to their uefa champions League ambition.

However, the point they earned against Atletico Madrid has propelled them into the top 24, so the result of this match isn't that important.

Last season, Arsenal eliminated Real Madrid in the Champions League, they won them in their home and still welcome them in their home and win them with an aggregate of 5-1 but who remove Arsenal? PSG removed them in the Quarter final and then same PSG was also removed in the semi final. You can see how difficult is to win the Champions League no matter how groomed you are in the competition, it's eve the team you don't expect you see in the final.

The same last season, Liverpool was toping Premier league and was doing same on the Champions League too, they won 7/8 matches where just like the way Arsenal is going right now but they didn't make it out of the knockout stage but won the Premier league. It's quite impressive to see Fermin Lopez with 5 goals, especially because there is no other Barcelona player in the list. Lewandowsky is quite old at this point, Raphinha played an incredible season and, no big surprise, now he's back to the usual performances: good but not crazy good. I believe we are going to see more goals in the Champions League this season, these are only the group stage matches, and Mbappe has scored 11 goals from 7 matches already, with one more game to play against Benfica. I agree with you, its depends on how far Real Madrid can go this season to determine if Mbappe will be the Champions League top scorer, because if Real Madrid get eliminated in the next round, he will not be able to score more goals.

Harry Kane has always been a player to compete with Mbappe in the Champions League, he has scored 7 goals in 7 matches, he would have had 8 goals if he had not missed the penalty that was awarded in their last match, Osimehn and Haaland failed to score in their last game, otherwise, they would have get the same goal as Harry Kane.
