As expected, Boring game I knew we won't have the kind of game we watched yesterday, because both team haven't  won the champions League and they are scared to take risk, you could see how they played, I got bored and off my Tv.

You shouldn't be surprised because you said yourself we won't get the same kind of game in this Athletico-Arsenal fixture but it is interesting in it's own way too. The teams have a different approach so we can't blame them. It was not as interesting but they also gave it their all and they both did well. Arsenal is as strong as they used to else they would have easily win the league

Altetico Madrid still has a chance to qualify, I don't see Arsenal making it the finals, the second legs will be tougher with less score too, they don't attack both team like to defend and play in the midfield unlike Bayern munich and PSG that like to come out to play football. I predict psg vs Altetico Madrid finals.

You can't be so sure with the predictions and if you ask me I think Arsenal has the higher advantage to reach the final because they got a draw in Spain. Atletico Madrid did well today because they were the home team, they were more comfortable so it's normal and I expect the same thing from Arsenal in the next leg. They will be playing at home so they will get more comfortable and I believe Arsenal will be able to outscore them in Emirates Stadium.

Yes, Atletico Madrid deserved to win the match because after they equalized they had couple of clear chances they would have used to win Arsenal at Riyadh Air Metropolitano Stadium but their finishes weren't clinical enough to give them the win they were searching for. Atletico Madrid wouldn't regret the chances they missed today in the second leg, because I think Arsenal wouldn't beat Atletico Madrid at Emirates Stadium. The second half was more electrifying than the first half, so I will say that Atletico Madrid and Arsenal match wasn't totally boring.

I think they might regret their misses tonight for it seems like Arsenal came to get either a win or a tie Away and they got one of these.
Now at Home the game will be difficult for Atletico Madrid but anything is still possible although the chances are lower now.

I anticipated more goals or more likely for either team to win the first leg but I was wronged both were only able to score through penalty respectively from both the first and second half of the game.

Because  I was expecting arsenal to take lead if the match when I saw their leading Atletico Madrid in the first half I thought they can comeback second half very strong to score more goals or defending their goals, but unfortunately it was not happen.

I've never expected anything serious from this match, just as Arsenal played against Sporting, they couldn't thrill you, so what's the point? Compared to yesterday’s game, this one was pretty boring in my opinion. Arsenal were the better side and controlled the game, but the result doesn’t really show that.Honestly, after a match like PSG vs Bayern, any other game feels dull. I feel like Arsenal might actually make it to the final this time, but i don’t see them winning it , what PSG and Bayern showed is just a whole different level of football.

Matches like this is very difficult to get an easy win, both coaches instructed their players to be very cautious and avoid mistakes because they both know that they have good defense and any team among them that concede a goal might end up losing the match due to how solid their defense can be, scoring goals in such matches is by chance which all the teams were able to maintain solid; only the penalty gave both teams chance in today’s game.

The second leg will be tough. Arsenal playing at the Emirate stadium will be massive especially as they failed to qualify against PSG last season, and this season is not about to end in favor of Arsenal, so I will expect the fans to cheer them up to boost their confidence in the match because Arsenal deserve to be in the final according their performance this season going without trophy will affect the team because they have spent money.

Arsenal to win the second leg is my prediction, and I will emotionally bet for Arsenal to win for the love I have for the team.

Kudos to Arsenal for holding them down through their good defensive approach if not Atletico Madrid in the second half would have scored up to 3 goals but Arsenal with their strong defense stopped them and the game ended in 1:1 draw with Arsenal having the advantage to host them in the returning leg in England. All the clinical chances wouldn't have been a waste of Arsenal wasn't good on defense, Atletico Madrid played very well but Arsenal was too good to concede another goal after both teams got their goals through penalty kick. The second leg will be more of war and fight because one team will go back home.

Actually this score wasn't a surprise. Everybody expected 2-3 goals at most. Obviously it wouldn't be like yesterday's game. Arsenal struggled to create clear chances. Atletico couldn't convert the chances they got especially with Lookman.

There were 2 penalties in the game but it could've been 3. The one overturned by VAR was the wrong call. Referee saw the contact and gave the penalty, he was pretty close. There was a clear challenge, VAR shouldn't have interfered. I think the referees had an impact on the score.

It's still a good score for Arsenal. They can finish the job at home next week. They don't need to play amazing, they just have to play their normal game and they can go through.

Watching this semifinals leg 1 It looks like whoever qualifies between Bayern Munich and Paris Saint Germain will likely go on to win the UEFA Champions League. I mean, no matter who they face next or advance to finals whether it’s Arsenal or Atletico Madrid it feels like those teams would have very little chance of winning any of them.
If you actually watch the games, the gap in quality and level of play is huge compared to the other bracket. So I wouldn’t be surprised at all if, in the finals the odds heavily favor either PSG or Bayern Munich.

Arsenal certainly have a higher chance of reaching the final because they will be playing the return leg at home. However, they definitely need to play better than they did in this match. I think Arsenal didn't quite deliver what was expected of them in this game. They were influenced by Atletico Madrid's style of play. They had to play a bit further back and accepted Atletico Madrid's dominance. A draw seemed like the result they wanted because they played a very good game, far from the attacking football we are used to seeing in the Premier League.

Since this was an away leg for Arsenal. getting a draw can still be considered a decent result. Well, they played well, but honestly, I think Arsenal could have done better than this, especially in the second half. when I believe they should have created more quality attacking opportunities. However in terms of finishing both teams were equally ineffective. but that’s because both sides seemed to prioritize solidifying their defenses more than usual.

I think in the secondd leg, Arsenal will play more aggressively. and it’s likely that Arsenal will indeed advance to the final. Everybody just keep saying the same thing “the match was boring” of course it will be I mean what else do you expect from this two sides knowing who Simeone is and Arsenal not being as strong as they were in the beginning. Plus the game yesterday raised the bar so high and fans were very excited, that will also add to the expectations of today’s game.

The first leg of the semifinal between PSG and Bayern Munich, compared to the Atletico Madrid vs. Arsenal match I watched live on a streaming channel, was just too different. Maybe it’s just me, but I found the Atletico Madrid vs. Arsenal match incredibly boring.
And from what I saw, it seems you’re right that whoever emerges as the winner between PSG and Bayern Munich will likely be the champion, as their quality of play is superior. As for whoever advances between Atlético Madrid and Arsenal, they seem like a team on a different level compared to the semifinalists from yesterday—though the dynamics will likely change again in the final.

Sincerely even though the game ended draw, Arsenal did a wonderful job, but they should do more in scoring goals, that initially 1-0 lead that they had, if they had doubled it, at least it would have ended in their favour. It was same thing they  played against Newcastle, but Newcastle couldn't press harder like ATM. I would just hope to see Arsenal in the finals, it's been very long to time since I saw them again.
