Athletico Madrid played rather very conservatively at home, they should've mounted more pressure at Arsenal, but they failed. If they had played like this against Barcelona, I doing they would've made it to this stage, so there's need to perform better than they did at home when they get to London if at all they'll be getting a spot at the finals. PSG has the advantage at home, that's an important advantage to leverage upon when they go to Bayern, but I believe that return leg would be a beastly battle between themselves and Bayern and I'll reiterate that the team that emerges to the next phase from this fixture is the favorites to win the champions League

So if not for penalties, both teams wouldn't have found the back of the net and the game would have ended goalless, Arsenal were busy looking for another penalty, lol. I watched the game but yesterday's match performance has outshine all of todays game. With this result, next week Tuesday, I hope both teams brings out their best as they fight for who will qualify first for the finals. A fight to finish next week at the Emirates as only one team will make it through. I just hope not to see a repeat of what happened in the Arsenal Vs Sporting game at the Emirates.

Short passes and each player's ability to make attacks were more effective than what Arsenal did. The excitement of the first leg is still there and PSG were lucky in the great fight between the two teams. PSG played well from the start of the match, conceded two goals in the second half despite leading by 3 goals. Bayern Munich were under pressure in the match but their outstanding contribution in scoring goals was commendable. If this is how Arsenal are going to be playing and then becomes champions then they should continue in that manner because nothing productive beautiful football has given them. Since they tried something different they haven't gotten any chance of winning straight 5 games, for last night game it was like the Arsenal that was playing from the beginning of this champions league but something wasn't correct against Atletico Madrid, they didn't strike more at least for it to be on target but instead they pressed more shot off target more than before. For tomorrow's games, my money is on Atleti. Arsenal, in my opinion, don't have the attack to hurt Atletico. Atletico might be inconsistent, but they have a good attack on their day, and the strong Arsenal defence at the start of the season is not the same now.

I believe that there are some very important qualities of these teams and this is what counts, appreciating good football is for few connoisseurs, but the real show was from the attackers who practically panicked, it was an incredible match, clearly this is only possible if these players are there.

Yes, Atletico Madrid deserved to win the match because after they equalized they had couple of clear chances they would have used to win Arsenal at Riyadh Air Metropolitano Stadium but their finishes weren't clinical enough to give them the win they were searching for. Atletico Madrid wouldn't regret the chances they missed today in the second leg, because I think Arsenal wouldn't beat Atletico Madrid at Emirates Stadium. The second half was more electrifying than the first half, so I will say that Atletico Madrid and Arsenal match wasn't totally boring.

The standard of this game is a far cry from what we saw from the yesterday semi finals between, Bayern munich vs PSG. Seriously speaking the quality of these two teams is just too below what we saw yesterday night. If you can't score goals as a team that calls for concern. Although the goals were equal between the two teams in the 24th and 40th minutes of the match, PSG took a 3-goal lead in the 57th minute of the match. As predicted, the Arsenal and Athletico Madrid game was boring like a friendly match between two amateur teams. PSG and Bayern Munich gave us entertaining game that we wish it never end. Both Arsenal and Athletico were playing with the same aim of not to lose. I don't what you're actually defending when you are yet to score a goal. Both teams wasn't playing as if they want to score each other.

The officiating was also terrible and made the game more boring to watch. Despite the draw yesterday, Athletico Madrid seem to be on the danger side here as they'll be travelling to England next week. Now, they have to be very compact and forceful at Emirates stadium and play with all seriousness. If they allowed the game to end up in penalty shootout, then Arsenal will likely make it to the final.

If they could afford to have a draw or a loss in the EPL, they would've rested some of their key players, but no time for that, that means, it's double the work for the team.
