I don’t think there is anything sentimental about that at all especially when the view is shared by a lot of persons. Off the forum, I did meet a lot of persons that did describe the match as being boring. No offense to both fans but, after seeing the PSG vs Bayern Munich match from the previous game, the Arsenal match certainly wasn’t going to match that energy and people were already being all referencing to that game and with ATM not being so attacking against Arsenal and Arsenal having to do the same, Saka coming on and wasn’t being able to have better position or control the game, it falls short on being exciting.

And winning a Liga when you are competing against Real Madrid and Barcelona is no joke. They also played two Champions League finals, which is another huge accomplishment for that team. At the end, whoever qualifies has the better game and even with the way arsenal played her semi finals, they might still qualify into the finals and proceed to winning the finals.

That's exactly the point, it doesn't even matter if they played great in previous games or played as a school team, the point is that if you play "cleanly" with a strategy you have a chance of winning against big teams too.
Obviously everyone is under pressure now and therefore unable to keep calm, they all play aggressively, which is nice because they put on a show, but in my opinion they neglect strategy a lot.

I equally agree with all what you have said about Atletico Madrid, comparing their records against Arsenal I think they have a better opportunity and also have good record then Arsenal because appearing into Champions League final twice is something there should be proud about, Atletico Madrid is a consistent team because battling with Real Madrid and Barcelona it's not something we should take lightly, because they have been batting for years, but this season is different because they have stress Barcelona in almost two competitions which they are able to kick them out. This is a very big chances for them to reshape their squad before next season to counter both Real Madrid and Barcelona so that they can lift up the trophy.

I agree with you. Bayern isn't a team that you should play a park the bus method with because you will give them more opportunities to attack aggressively and mount pressure on your defense before you know it, they will break your defense and score. I don't think Enrique will fall for that because he need goals to seal up his qualification to the finals.

Why we didn't see more goals as yesterday match is that both clubs don't play attacking football but defensive one. The champions league semi final we have an interesting second half from both sides because that is were will determine to clubs that will scare through to the final, the match at Bayern ground will be more interesting and entertaining as we have seen in their first leg.

Yes they have done very well in the last few seasons however if they really wanted to win the champions League title they would have fight so hard in making sure that they win Arsenal in the first leg especially since it was their home, they had a lot chances they missed used, right now they will be going to Arsenal's home I don't think it's possible for them to win in that place however they can actually do it but it will be very difficult as for me I am seeing that Arsenal will win them and go to the final but let's see how it will be like on that day it's just few days from now so we all we see if atletico Madrid we win and go to the final or they will lose and go back home.

Atletico Madrid controlled the match in Madrid well but it's disappointed that they did not score a winning goal while Arsenal truly shown their quality in Madrid. It gives them confidence that returning to their home stadium, Arsenal will be able to find a winning there and an aggregated winning results against Atletico Madrid too.

With their first leg match, this semi final pair is quite balancing and with their not too good ability of scoring goals, likely difference between a winner and loser will be only one-goal difference or even through penalty shootouts.

In Munich, if any team get many conceded goals like a first leg, it's likely enough for that team to become a loser as the opponent will possibly be able to secure goal difference better than in the first match between them in Paris.

For me I feel the reason why everyone was so keen on the arsenal game is because of the results that the Bayern Munich vs PSG game has already played and the amount of goals plus the flair that the game produced because it's actually a normal game that arsenal and athelico Madrid actually played, I mean they actually did not end the game to a goal less draw as they both scored which is positive and the game will be more open this time around in England at the emirate stadium.

It was an average game from teams with average play!
Just because two teams can't score or end in a draw doesn't mean the match is competitive and the teams are great, unelss you want to make the game between Crawley Town and Shrewsbury Town also a great game just because they both tried their best!

It's pretty simple, compared to the previous match the match between Arsenal and Atletico was not even worth watching!
And this comes from someone who actually watched both games, unlike most of the people here!
