Looking at the two teams' performances in the first leg Atletico Madrid played better than Arsenal even having several good chances, but failing to convert them into goals. In that match both teams were overly cautious in the first half. However, Atletico played more aggressively in the second half, perhaps because they were behind and they proved to be very effective in the second half scoring a goal.

I say Atletico Madrid was better than Arsenal because their coach can read the game, so Atletico seemed adaptable in the second half. They were able to play more physically and continuously press. This change in Atletico performance in the second half was evident. They were willing to take risks were brave enough to utilize individuals and were more direct. They actually deserved more than one goal but goalkeeper Raya and the crossbar prevented them.

Facing the second leg will certainly be difficult for Arsenal even though they are playing at home because Atletico can rest key players when facing Valencia because their position in the domestic league is already secure in the top four, while Arsenal still has to go all out when facing Fulham because of the trophy competition with Man City.

Arsenal was a team that all in all i would never have expected to see so proactive, normally i would say that Atletico Madrid had more of an advantage but in this case they both did very well and all in all it was a nice balanced match, of a good level, i are happy for them.

I am convinced that Arsenal will do well and that they can get through to play the final, it will then be the final that everyone was expecting from the beginning, the first and second place in the initial Champions League ranking, we could already see who were the best classified for the final race.

Let's see how they could deliver in their subsequent match, I wish Arsenal should have gone far ahead of where it was by this time even in order major leagues they play, but they are unpredictable to an extent, but I'm still more interested in their recent play because this season make much difference in their performance than previous ones to an extent, all they just need is to maintain their pace of performance.

I see that the possibility of Arsenal advancing to the final is much greater because in the second leg they will play at their home stadium, and with the aggregate still tied, it will certainly be a big advantage for Arsenal. This is indeed how I know the final match is going to be. One team will be attacking and the other team will be defending and that’s the joy of what we’re going to be seeing in the finals. And for every goal scored by the offensive team, the defensive team will rely on their porous defense and counter attack to win it back. So this game is going to be interesting to watch and not like how many are viewing it that it is going to be bored.

Atletico Madrid have much to do if they want to win against Gunners at their Home, we can say Gunners have much advantage there and their stat even against LA Liga team has been fair. ATM needs to be watchful.

these players and these ratings are simply crazy and i don't think they are actually worth the amount they say, this football is so obvious that it no longer amuses me, these players don't even make the slightest difference to what they are worth and in fact they don't win much anymore and are mediocre.

I don't support this for Atletico Madrid, their players have individual brilliance and some are highly rated and there are proofs to it.

Unfortunately ATM are just inconsistent and I can say that they are mentally not ready to win a trophy like Arsenal but they still are in a more terrible state than Gunners in this regard.

I wouldn't really call Atletico Madrid an inconsistent team because they won some trophies during the last years. And winning a Liga when you are competing against Real Madrid and Barcelona is no joke. They also played two Champions League finals, which is another huge accomplishment for that team. Probably they deserved to win at least one of those finals.

Yes they have done very well in the last few seasons however if they really wanted to win the champions League title they would have fight so hard in making sure that they win Arsenal in the first leg especially since it was their home, they had a lot chances they missed used, right now they will be going to Arsenal's home I don't think it's possible for them to win in that place however they can actually do it but it will be very difficult as for me I am seeing that Arsenal will win them and go to the final but let's see how it will be like on that day it's just few days from now so we all we see if atletico Madrid we win and go to the final or they will lose and go back home.

Of course winning at home would have simplified their path but let's not forget what they did against Barcelona during the last weeks, because in happened twice: they won the away match and lost the home match. Although it looked doubtful at first, Arsenal actually managed to prove themselves by holding their own against Atletico Madrid, a side we know boasts players of exceptional quality who are certainly not easy to beat, so the draw is something to be proud of and deserves recognition. Arsenal did well by holding very well because we did not expect then to play a draw and the game was actually very interesting they both played, and how it ended in draw was not what was expected at all because we thought there is going to be winner and they all want to go to the finals and the way the game ended in draw nobody was saying anything again because they know that both if the club's tried there best and they are leaving the decision of who is going to go to the finals in the hands of both of them since it ended in draw and they have to be ready so that that it will be something that we know that the winner deserves it.

They both have to work to know who is going to get to the finals because at this point we don't even know who is going to progress to the finals but without much deliberation it's going to be Arsenal even as we are roasting them we still feel they have more advantage of crossing to the next stage which is the finals and this same us that are bashing arsenal let them not end up surprising us and that is exactly what it might look like.

As Arsenal are not in good form, I don't think they can take home advantage well. They lost at home against bournemouth. So  there is no way to think that Arsenal are too strong at home.

It was a game in which some of Arsenal's good players were injured. Also, after the game against Bournemouth, they played at home against Newcastle and won, and today they played at home again with their best players back and won, in a game where Arsenal managed to score 3 goals and concede 0. This could be a sign that Arsenal, with the return of some of their good players, will be as strong as at the beginning of the season.

Because Arsenal's biggest misfortune has always been having their best players injured when there are only 10 games left in the league, causing them to lose the title. I didn't think Arsenal would be able to fight this far, but with their second leg ATM will be the decider and if Arsenal manage to beat ATM they are really solid in their performance. But considering ATM is not a team that is in bad form this is a tough challenge for them. It is still an open game, which I do not think that Atletico Madrid will want to seat back all through the game, but if they were leading that is when I think that they will have to seat back and be hoping to hit Arsenal on the break.

Bayern Munich are already one goal down after the 1st leg... And so if PSG can defend this there 1 goal lead or possibly even score more goals and get Bayern Munich knocked out from the UCL, then it is very much impossible for Harry Kane to surpass kylian Mbappe...Even with all the injuries that he encountered this season and his team getting knocked out in the quarter final, Mbappe still happens to have the highest goals.. Surely, Mbappe is just too good for my liking even though he hasn't really been having much luck at helping his club with the UCL... In my opinion, although Harry Kane is currently only two goals behind Mbappé it won't be easy for Kane to achieve this in the second leg. I predict that both teams will play more cautiously in the second leg. If the first leg saw a high number of goals, the second leg won't be as goal-heavy, as both teams will play very cautiously. In the first leg we saw both teams play a very open and attacking game leaving both teams' defenses loose. Therefore, in the second leg, I think both Kompany and Enrique will focus on their offense and defense especially since the second leg will be crucial for both teams' qualification to the final. So, scoring two goals won't be easy for Kane, especially against PSG.

If Harry Kane fails to add two goals and they fail to qualify for the final, Mbappé chances of winning the Champions League top scorer title for the second consecutive time are wide open. The coaches of both clubs did serious rotation which made them draw their league matches today but it only means that they're very careful not to risk losing any first team player to injury, the second leg would be more tough than the first and at this point it's almost impossible to predict who would win, both sides are very good, we all saw it in the first leg but at the end a winner would be decided and one has to leave.
 I wish that second leg match was the finals cause it would be more tougher than the finals, Atletico Madrid vs Arsenal was very boring and both teams replied on penalties to score. I don’t think there is anything sentimental about that at all especially when the view is shared by a lot of persons. Off the forum, I did meet a lot of persons that did describe the match as being boring. No offense to both fans but, after seeing the PSG vs Bayern Munich match from the previous game, the Arsenal match certainly wasn’t going to match that energy and people were already being all referencing to that game and with ATM not being so attacking against Arsenal and Arsenal having to do the same, Saka coming on and wasn’t being able to have better position or control the game, it falls short on being exciting.

Of course Bayern Munich and PSG match is never to be compared with that of arsenal and ATM, anyone who says this match was interesting or not boring is likely to be a fan of either ATM or arsenal and of course if your favourite team is playing even though it's not tough yet you will just love it like that i think that's what is happening to most people. But is of the past now  we just need to let it go and  focus on the retuning leg, I think the returning leg will be more interesting than this first leg as the both team will be struggling to win. with the home advantage given to arsenal they might get ATM eliminated.

Both clubs are taking everything seriously because they don't want to take chances they just want to see that they are able to make it to the finals, and who is going to win because it has become more competitive so we don't know who is go to win now because all of them seem to be perfect for the winning of the champions league because we all watch the game we saw the whole effort they were putting so they need to be ready because and the one I am more concerned about that is that of Arsenal and Atletico Madrid and i see Arsenal winning the game.

yeah. it wouldn't be much of a stretch to say that Bayern Munich currently boasts the world's best attacking trio with Diaz, Kane, and Olise. it's a frontline capable of anything at any moment but unfortunately, i can't say the same for their defense and midfield. still, I believe they'll control the game on their home turf.
