in my opinion, the biggest problem with atlético madrid’s loss yesterday was their inability to keep possession. even though arsenal didn’t apply heavy pressure, and even though they didn’t win the match solely because of the pressure they applied, atlético panicked as if they were a youth team and kept making mistakes at critic moments. they were able to create very few attacks that went exactly as planned. generally, whenever they stole the ball from arsenal, they tried to launch counterattacks, but that alone wasn’t enough to score. when we saw this matchup in the semifinals, we expected the games to be a bit more subdued, but i don’t think it was this bad. both matches were too boring.

today we have the match that has people more excited than even the final. regardless of the score or which team advances, i believe this matchup will host the two best matches of the season. i hope we get to watch a match as enjoyable as the first one tonight.

Such words honestly comes from staunch Chelsea fans who have no love or likeness for Arsenal. As well their bragging and draggings over who is bigger in north London.
The most important thing is that, haters will hate that Arsenal made it to the finals  but who cares?! I hope they go on to become champions of Europe regardless of who is to be faced in the Champions League finals come May 30th! I thought Arsenal wouldn't be able to reach the final, but it turns out Arsenal did. Therefore, we shouldn't underestimate a team that seems doubtful, because anything can happen in football. I quite understand what you are saying and I agree with you that Arsenal's performance isn't enough for them to win the Champions League because their performance in the knockout phase wasn't impressive and they managed to make to the final because they played against teams that aren't that strong in the Champions League knockout phase, if they play with this their current form against either Bayern Munich or PSG in the final, we will likely see the same scenario that happened between Inter Milan and PSG in their last Champions League final.

The final will be Arsenal's first knockout match against a team of the same or higher level. The draw made Arsenal's path to Budapest much easier, and they only faced significantly weaker teams.
