I haven't seen someone who takes a big risk in gambling who tells the story of their risk in a good way that it pays off for others to learn from. What you hear mostly from them is bitter complaints about the big losses they have made in gambling.

Yes, that's true the ones who take risks in gambling especially those who take big risks often end up with huge losses. In the hand house always wins and that's my own personal experience. In sports betting someone's luck can still help him/her to to win even if he/she takes big risks but in casino games it's not worth it to take big risks.

It is certain to take risks in gambling as a result of experiencing a big defeat --- basically the victory of gambling is small only relying on luck while the bookie is certain to win. What I usually tell folks is that small wins is better than none , and small losses is also better than big wins big losses . This where risk management comes in how to manage yourself , not to prevent but rather reduce the risk .

Yes is a risk not to take risk in this life , you will only remain in one place . But know the amount of risk you can handle , because most folks don’t know the amount of risk they can handle . You will hear of how guys are going all out in gambling or trading , just to cover up their previous losses or to gain more .

Yeah, one reason could be though that people usually share negative emotions more than positive emotions. Like we might not rate a restaurant if everything went good there but we will almost certainly leave a negative feedback if the food wasn't good or the service was poor. Same could be true for gambling, that people who win barely ever share their success stories unless they hit some jackpot and media is all around them.

Those of us who don't risk much in gambling tell the good side of gambling to be fun. Not taking risks means not getting big profits, because only by daring to take risks then the profit is also big if you can win, but everyone is different and also depends on the capital you have, if you only have a little capital and play in games with high volatility then the faster the game session ends unless the player is lucky.
For casino games, I play more often in medium - high volatility games while for sports betting more often at odds below 2.00, only certain times above it.

Too much of anything can be harmful. It applies to risk taking as well.
Constantly exposing ourselves to risk increases the chances of negative consequences.
But on the other hand, if we don't take risks at all, how would we achieve what we desire to.
So according to me, there should be a good balance inbetween the too and only then we progress forward.

Right, it's that simple, the bigger the risk you take, the bigger the potential for victory, there are always gamblers who dare to take big risks in any type of game but unfortunately this action cannot guarantee victory at all, meaning losing is still losing, your courage in taking big risks cannot be used as a guarantee or benchmark that you will win.

If you are going into gambling there is no beauty in gambling small because gambling involves taking risk so people should prioritize risking big because one thing with gambling is that whether you gamble small or you gamble big you have thesame probability of winning and losing

In business taking big risks can still be tolerated but if gambling I think it is not necessary because gambling will not make someone rich while business can make someone rich depending on its management and depending on their success in business while gambling is more profitable for casino owners and gamblers will be disadvantaged if they are too brave to take big risks because there is no guarantee of winning big with it.

That is true that no one on Earth who's rich now that didn't took a risk. Even for the rich heirs, someone has to take that risk. But this is different from the gambling point of view. While the most successful people took risk that they don't have an idea on how it will go or maybe some of them were able to calculate and that's why they've taken the risk. And as for gamblers, it's way far from the comparison of businesses and assets that we have to take the risk as well. Being a gambler is also in nature of being a risk taker but, the risk that we take in gambling is different from the exact risk we take from other paths because this results to a short term vision after taking it.

Low risks will only give the gambler small profit on short run, while still getting all his money on long run. So, is it a low risk after all?

What I take from my personal experience as a gambler is that low risk is a illusion. You think you are playing safely, pursuing constant small goals, until you hit a long loss streak and all the progress you made so far is gone in a matter of minutes. You thought the risk was low and manageable, but in the end, you lost just like the gambler who was placing high risk bets.

Taking big risk will lead to catastrophe as you said if the game doesn’t go in your favour. Whether taking big or small risk, it has to be in the same perception of you having not risk more than you can afford to lose. Your big risk in a game may be someone’s small risk and can lead to your own doom if you can’t handle the big loss.
Sacrifices in gambling doesn’t mean you should risk more than what you can afford to lose, it means you should be able to risk that amount of money in you and still have something to fall back on even if it doesn’t go in your favour.

Taking risk is important to making money from the gambling space. There are many people that thinks that gambling with peanut is okay to keep making money from the space or using small buck can make them hit a jackpot.
