I personally trust Chivu as a coach because as a player he was fantastic for both Ajax and especially with Inter when he won UCL under Mourinho and he also had a lot of time to know his team better during this summer and prepare a proper plan to fight for Serie A. However , like you said his first test will be against Torino and fail is not an option for him on his debut but I think Inter will win 2-1 or 3-1.

So far in the pre-season friendlies Inter have done well. Of course they are still far from their best form but I believe they can win this first league match! It certainly won't be an easy match for them but I am confident

Torino is a mid-table team; they can't compete against Inter on paper. But this Inter isn't the Inter of last year. There's a real risk of making a mess, and then we're talking about Inter.

No, honestly i think Inter will win this one with half the effort and won’t have any problems in that match. I believe they can adapt quickly and prepare tactically. Honestly, i can’t wait for Serie A to start, i always miss Italian football, especially i can’t wait to see Modric and KDB and how they will perform.

.....Torino isn’t exactly a pushover, they’re the type of side that thrives on discipline and defensive structure, which can frustrate teams like Inter if they don’t find an early breakthrough. If Chivu experiments too much with tactics, that could backfire in matches like this.

Personally, I don’t doubt Inter has the quality to win — they still have depth and proven players. But the real question is consistency. If Chivu can balance tactical tweaks without overcomplicating things, Inter should handle Torino. If not, yeah, a surprise result isn’t impossible.

For me, Inter should still edge it, but I wouldn’t expect a dominant win. Something like 2–1 or even a late grind-it-out result feels realistic.

Honestly, the move to take him out of the team. I don't agree with it! I don't know what could have happened, but if you are going to sell a player you don't put him out of the squad, rather you look for buyers even if you can lose money on him.
But Taremi selling him would generate a capital gain since he arrived for free last year
