About the Chivu discussion I also have something to add. Chivu's situation is technically no different than Xabi Alonso. I mean both of them have been given a big duty at the beginning of their managerial careers... Xabi Alonso has done an incredible job so far. Maybe Chivu can also surprise people? There is no such thing as everyone will be like Xabi Alonso of course. Chivu doesn't even need to break records like him. He is only expected to do a good job by being a solid title contender.

People are sleeping on ROMA, but they are making big leaps this summer that could actually help them be a lot better on the long run. I am not sure if they can win the league this year, but with Gasperini, they are surely going to be better each year.
Moreover, this year, they can overachieve and finish in top three, which would be awesome if they can achieve that. This has to be the most important reason, if they can actually end up with good results, then it's going to be amazing for them. We need to just focus on consistency, if Roma could be consistent, which Gasperini cares about a lot, then they are going to play at the same level on ALL games, which should help them win the title eventually and be better this season.

How can you expect him to be in the same way like Xabi? weird

Yes, with Gasperini their path will be completely different, and it won't be the same as it was with other coaches, everyone is understanding that it's not the usual path that coaches usually take, and you can observe how the Atalanta players perform under the Gasperini era, another step compared to everyone else.

Not winning with Leverkusen is not the same as not winning with Inter, in which case you burn his coaching career in Italy.

We must understand that little by little these coaches will take their course and will bring improvements according to their experiences, I'm not saying that it will all be easy for them, especially for Chivu, taking a Champions League finalist team and trying to win will be very difficult.

Oh yes, you're right, I was wrong, they have such similar names that I got confused In any case, all the teams that were strong last year are crippled, Milan may perhaps have some surprises in store given that they don't play in cups by not playing cups the players will be fresher and not tired

This seems to be a similar case of Vincent kompany and Bayern Munich, but I'm quite sure it won't end well for them, even if Vincent kompany is winning games at the germain bundesliga it's not a surprise to me because Bayern Munich had got no competitors there so they must win, but for inter to do same I'm afraid it won't end well, as they've got to many rivals, I was actually thinking they will win the scudetto this season but with this I doubt if they can, what is their reason of hiring another manager, if not that Inzaghi lost the champions League final I didn't see anything bad on him, and it's not easy to get to the champions League final, so I believe they will certainly regret it.
It is obvious that Kompany and Chivu situation is similar. But I agree that Bayern had no competition, which is why winning was simple for them. Whereas this isn't the same for the current situation Inter is in, because at Inter they are facing some competition and because of that it is not the same thing. We need to realize Inter is playing against Napoli, and also even Juventus, and those competitions making it hard for Inter. The gap between how much money Inter has (or spent) and other teams close to them, isn't that big. Whereas what Bayern can spend compared to other teams is huge. Which is why it's not the same thing at all, it definitely feels like a different situation to be in and not the same thing at all.

I could not agree more with you. Chivu's is in a worst situation compared to the Kompany. He's coaching a club in competitive league, which is having a lot of competitors for the title race. Meanwhile, Kompany managed a club that ever made the league became a farmer league. The difference is obvious for Chivu to feel more struggle rather than Kompany. He has a harder job than Kompany in Bayern. Only hope him to do well in his first season. At least he shall not be sacked at the middle of season.

Comparing Chivu's situation with that of Kompany gkt me confused. If Kompany was coaching a team in the Serie A I don't think he would've won a trophy last season Kompany is coaching the best team in the Bundesliga with few competitors whereas Chivu still had coaches with high profile to deal with even though he's coaching Inter Milan you can't compare him with Conte or Inzaghi and so.

It's official! Nicola Zalewski is a new player at Atalanta. He leaves Inter after only six months for a sum close to 17 million euros and produces a capital gain of around 10 million for Inter. However, Inter have apparently given up on the Ademola Lookman deal, he is no longer a market target.

ah here's a sort of exchange, Inter are really very interested in Lookman His shopping season was a disaster, also because if I understood correctly, correct me, he has no money to spend and so he went into economy mode. how sad.. they gain much money with UCL.. mah

Slowly they are paying off the debts! But this is really a unique sadness However, I believe that Lookman will no longer come to Inter, there is too little time left until the start of the championship

Noah Okafor will soon be a Leeds player, with a reported €21m deal already agreed. Okafor hasn't made a significant contribution to Milan last season, and this could be considered a wise move. As a replacement, Milan are reportedly looking to sign Mario Stroeykens from Anderlecht. Whether this will be a good move or not remains to be seen, but if Milan manages to sign Stroeykens for €10m, they could earn a €10m surplus. look like can be easy money for Milan

Xabi Alonso didn't start with a big job. He started with Leverkusen. A relatively small club where there was not much pressure on him. It's different from Cristian Chivu. Chivu only coached Parma for about six months; that's not enough time to prove himself. I know that there have been managers who had no experience at all when they got to big clubs and they did very well, but it's difficult to trust something you've not seen. Pep Guardiola is one manager who took over Barcelona with no experience at all and went on to be their best manager in history. Kompany, too, had little experience when he took over Bayern. For now, all I can say the fans and club should give Chivu the support he needs. Give him the benefit of the doubt, let him prove himself first.

If he truly has in mind to transform Inter, he must also think like the player he once was from 2007–2014 when he wore the Nerazzurri shirt, and now again as their coach in 2025. It takes total commitment, adaptability, and the ability to blend his past experience on the pitch with modern tactical demands. If he can balance those elements, then Chivu has every chance of guiding Inter to new successes.

The hype of Serie A remains weak. Modric arrival and participation of Serie-A clubs in the Club World Cup won't make the Italian league as attractive as in the past.
Do you think so? Well, maybe it won’t attract that much attention, but it will generate an option for many players to continue playing football in Europe and reach a UCL and be competitive, since now the market is moving a lot towards Arabia, because the salaries are very high and they have everything to go there, so because of this I think that Italian football can become a little more attractive, in addition they have reached many final stages and that is something very positive, in almost the last seasons of the UCL they have reached the finals, well at least Inter. Mere experience might not be enough. Understanding the weaknesses of opponents and building strategies around them might help Chivu even more. If he truly has in mind to transform Inter, he must also think like the player he once was from 2007–2014 when he wore the Nerazzurri shirt, and now again as their coach in 2025. If he can balance those elements, then Chivu has every chance of guiding Inter to new successes.
For me, Chivu has a big commitment, He has to do great things to maintain Inter's level, It's not easy I see some teams, like Roma and Milan, as being very well positioned and eager to get into the UCL qualifying spots That's what I see Of course, there's still a long way to go, the season is just beginning.
