I'm not sure if Roma should be that much of a favourite. Lecce won their first game and have the home advantage, so they have a real chance of earning at least a point.
You got it wrong mate. Lecce is like a bonus score to Roma in this game because Roma ended the first half in a 3-0 victory against the host club. Lecce is finding it difficult to meet up with Roma game pace. It seems Roma is strong from what I saw in their last game and this one, it shows that they prepared for this season. Roma is already topping the table with goals.

one thing is for sure: Napoli lacks a real striker
@babo, Are you sure that Napoli lacks a striker, what about Rasmus Højlund and Lorenzo Lucca, yes, initially it was rumored that Napoli lacked a striker, but not anymore, as far as I know Napoli are still active in responding to the transfer market to add and improve their shortcomings in the Italian League on the front lines. Napoli was able to act quickly to overcome this situation thanks to the work of the club management, I think this is a serious response to maintain Napoli in the realm of world football, I have also seen that Napoli has targeted several top strikers who are likely to sign with long-term contracts such as names that I know Joshua Zirkzee, Nicolas Jackson and several others, this is a serious response from club management, after Romelu Lukaku left forFenerbahce. Lorenzo Lucca is currently a striker for Udinese. Napoli needs some other attackers to alternate with Hojlund, Although he is an excellent striker, his performances are very inconsistent, so Allegri must have a valid alternative. I'm not very enthusiastic about Nicolas Jackson, but he would be an excellent investment for the club.

Napoli needed to sale lukaku, with that wages and spending most of his time on sick bed, he was just a liability for them. For sure they need to get another Striker, but last season we all saw how Rasmus Hojlund was Able to make a huge impact for them in Lukaku absence. The window will close very soon but I believe Napoli will get another striker to be at least a sub for Hojlund.
Como is a very difficult side to play against, they have a very good team and I believe they will cause problems to all big teams in the league this season and not just Napoli.
Allegri have not been convincing with the 2 games Napoli have played but I believe they will improve before the end of the season. The target still remains to win the scudetto or at least get a champions league football for next season.
You should note that Romelu Lukaku has already been sold by Italian club Napoli and the Belgian all-time top scorer has joined Turkish club Fenerbahce for an initial fee of 6 million euros but that's right he will get bonuses and other benefits based on his performance. So of course they should buy a striker but the team has given the opportunity to play Danish player Rasmus Hojlund as their main striker and I think this player may have gained the trust of Napoli manager by playing in this position because he managed to score a goal in the second match of this new Italian league season against Como. Last season too Napoli team did not have any trained forwards which is why we believe they did not get the chance to win back to back Italian league titles.

And Nicholas Jackson just signed for a new club, Aston Villa and he’s getting his debut right now for them against Arsenal so he’s off the market too. Napoli has to find someone quickly to support or pair with Hojlund because I don’t think they can depend on only him for the full season. Lorenzo Lucca is still currently a Napoli player he played in their game yesterday, where are you getting your information from?

They finished the season in 6th place with 63 points in the 2023/24 season, 5th place with 69 points in the 2024/25 season and 3rd place with 73 points in the 2025/26 season. If that improvement continues, Roma will fight for the title this season. Even if they don't win the title, I would like to see them in second place. Roma have everything they need to win the title this season. Now they just have to finish the season well.

Roma has made a fantastic start to the season. I don't recall Roma ever getting off to such a strong start in recent years. Two matches, two wins, and they haven't conceded a single goal yet. I’d like to make a special mention of Donyell Malen. He has played exceptionally well since arriving at Roma. He was the team's top scorer in 2026, and he has already reached five goals in just two matches during the 2026-2027 season. Had he not been substituted in the 67th minute, he would have scored his second consecutive hat-trick. Roma is in great form.

Roma were quite comfortable away from home. Malen is putting on a show, scoring five goals in total in the second week. If he continues scoring like this, he will be the league's top scorer this season. Scoring five goals in two weeks is a fantastic start for him and also for Roma. Inter, Juventus, Milan, and Roma haven't made any mistakes in the last two weeks. Let's see which team will be the first to drop points.

If no one told you the Lecce vs. Roma match featured teams from the Italian league, you would think you were watching a Dutch league game. The match ended 0–4 in Roma's favor, but had even half of the missed chances been converted, it would have been a 10-goal game.
Malen scored two goals but squandered three or four other scoring opportunities. He would have completed a hat-trick had he found the net once more, but he failed to do so. It wouldn't be wrong to say Malen provided a "half-assist" for Soulé's goal. Rodrigo Mora scored his first goal for Roma in this match. Roma secured a comfortable victory and maintained their spot at the top of the table with 6 points.

He should be the player of the month and week. His goal scoring ability is extraordinary. His five goals in two matches have put Roma on top of the table and for the main time Malen is the highest goal scorer. Will he be able to win the golden boot this season as the highest goal scorer, time shall tell. The season has just begun and most of these teams are still very strong to continue winning their games because they're well prepared for the season. From match day five, some will start dropping points.

It’s time to update the Serie A table Roma have made an impressive start to the season, beating Lecce 0–4; Malen is the undisputed star of the show with five goals in two matches. We have six teams at the top of the table; I think it’s going to be a really intense and interesting season
every time i see Malen i get excited like never before, he is an amazing player, i must say that he is truly the undisputed protagonist of this Roma team and he is taking it really seriously, seeing this player up close is a privilege for me, when he plays at home i always go to see him at the stadium, truly the renaissance of Roma.

Last season, Roma also started with two wins, but those were two 1-0 wins, and overall, the 1-0 score was Roma's favorite result throughout the tournament. The goal difference is currently 8-0 and Roma are at the top, which is interesting. I'll watch their game in the next round, which, by the way, will be against Atalanta, which also have 6 points. In the last round I watched Inter's game and it seemed terrible to me. If Inter continue to play so poorly, the current odds that show them as clear favourites will raise questions.

I have to admit that Roma really made a great investment with Malen, truly devastating so far! I did some research, something like this hasn't happened in Rome for a long time. Malen has scored 19 goals in 20 appearances for Roma, behind only Nordhal and Altafini who at the time scored 20 goals in 20 appearances. All this for a player who cost only 29 million between loan and buyout. Enjoy this player for a long time, Roma and Serie A need him

It’s time to update the Serie A table
Wow, the next matchday features Juventus vs Milan, now that’s what you call a big match. Obviously, I’m hoping the bianconeri win, but Milan are playing really well and I reckon they will come out on top this time. I also hope Fiorentina bounce back because this start to the season is truly baffling, conceding seven goals and scoring none is a humiliation given the transfer business they have done. One of all, it seems Dragusin has forgotten how to play football.

There's no way anyone can blame lecce for that lost because they are no where close to AS Roma in terms of footballing capacity, so they should accept that lost in good fate and look forward to beat their mate, because AS Roma is way out of their league, how the game managed to end in 4 goals to nothing is still what I can't comprehend, because after the 3 - 0 first half, I was thinking maybe there will be another three goals or more in the second half, but it seems they came back to their senses at the second half of the game.

Nicolas Jackson is totally out of the picture, if they are to look for an attacker, and again Rasmus Højlund might not be that clinical back then at Manchester United but so far so good here in Napoli he's been up and doing, so why stressing themselves about a new striker, and I really think he should be paired with Lorenzo Lucca, as I think that pair will do them lots of good, rather than stressing over a new striker, because when once the mentality of Rasmus Højlund not being capable of handling that attacking role, then the team will start struggling because at that point there's nothing the young man will play that will impress them, and with that he will start to flop.

Roma started with a good performance, and especially their previous match was very good. Roma's attack is very strong now, I watched their previous match, and I found it very enjoyable, because they were on the attack from the beginning. Anyway, I don't know how well they can do, but it looks good to see the start.
And Inter Milan's next match will be against Napoli, I think Napoli is a good team, and so Inter Milan's victory should not be very easy. What do you think? Can Inter Milan win the next match?

Como will eventually join the ranks of the big clubs, but I don't think that will happen for Atalanta. Como's owners are gradually strengthening the squad by bringing in star players. I’m not sure if that’s the case at Atalanta. As you mentioned, they need to sign major players who can truly make an impact. They have players like Ederson, De Ketelaere, and Scamacca, but to my knowledge, they haven't made the kind of signings needed to make a splash in the Champions League. Eljif Elmas was brought in on loan, and Franck Kessié arrived from the Saudi league. How can you become a big club by signing players like that?
