Next manager candidates are said to be Iraola and Pochettino for Milan. However I see Iraola as a more realistic target now as he is leaving Bournemouth... Pochettino is the USA national team manager now. He wouldn't be available during the whole World Cup. Iraola is a great option for average teams but I'm not sure about a big Serie A team like Milan. But as they are away from their good days maybe he can help them recover at least. Iraola is already booked by Liverpool. It's impossible for Milan to sign him as a new manager when he gets an offer from a big club in EPL that is also playing in UCL. It makes Pochettino to be a rational candidate that can be signed by Milan. Yet, if Milan is smart enough, they shall have targeted Glasner as their new coach. Honestly, Glasner was underrated coach. He helped Palace to win some trophies. It's a sense reason to bring him to the Italy. Milan must first understand what he wants to do with his life If he wants to play properly he has to stop changing coaches at random. He needs to buy decent players. It's okay to have a pensioner like Modric, but do you really think a team can aim high like this? Allegri had done miracles with what he had

Massimiliano Allegri has achieved more than anyone could have expected from this Milan side. Of course, the end of the season was truly disappointing, but I reckon there were already tensions both inside and outside the dressing room – otherwise I can’t explain why they gave up on every objective so early on!

Thanks a lot Ace, I thought I was stupid and the only one who thought this way, but in reality in my opinion Massimiliano Allegri is a true professional, he makes what he has work and the 5th place, compared to the 8th, proves it I've never understood all this rush to change coaches, there have been improvements, the players are also needed... because if they use older players like my grandfather like Modric... it's understandable.

Indeed! They are changing managers very often. This is also a factor that's preventing them from adapting to a name's system and improving their game in time. Besides the squad is quite weak for a team like Milan. They need to have a better vision than this if they are targeting the Serie A championship. I still can't forget about that legendary Milan squad with Shevchenko and all... Since then Milan have never been satisfying enough for me.

Which teams work? Those that don't change coaches at every turn.

I would have kept Massimiliano Allegri on for at least two seasons to see how the team would fare. In the meantime, they need to overhaul the squad because it’s full of overrated players who aren’t really contributing to the team, like Rafa Leão.

That have been Milan problem, chopping and cutting off managers can’t solve their problems, their biggest problem is a having a bunch of average players and expecting them to win the league. They need high quality players if they really want to be where they wish for. For me I would also suggest they stick to Allegri a bit more, he showed what he was capable of in the beginning of the season. We need to see changes in Milan real soon, a good coach needs to come in and also betters players needs to come in, with them loosing out on champions league I know it will be very hard to convince some certain players to come play at the club.

I do not think that they fired him for "not being successful" because he did improve the team compared to last season. I think he was fired for not listening to the club heads, the owners and so forth, they disliked him and fired him as soon as they got the chance. They probably wanted to fire him even earlier, but he did alright with the team all the way until the end. If they won their games on the last month, they would have been as high as second place, so he was doing good. Only reason they fired him so late was because he did great up until the last month. Him staying at this club for a few more years, could have made this team better long term.

They can no longer place their trust in Massimiliano Allegri, as he is now the new manager of Napoli, where he is replacing Antonio Conte, who, as usual, is complaining and leaving straight away. Milan’s next manager will certainly be in the spotlight from the start of the season right through to the end, and there will be problems if he fails to achieve the club’s objectives.

You’re not the only one who thinks so! Unfortunately, Milan are taking the wrong approach to managing the team. Massimiliano Allegri was fighting for the Scudetto with a team ill-equipped to do so, and he led the table and sat in second place for quite some time during the season; then something completely fell apart, but he did better than his predecessors at the helm of the team, and as you said, fifth place is better than eighth, but for some in the board, that wasn’t enough

Pochettino is the USA national team manager now. He wouldn't be available during the whole World Cup. Iraola is a great option for average teams but I'm not sure about a big Serie A team like Milan. But as they are away from their good days maybe he can help them recover at least. Changing the manger can't help your club until you change the whole system. Milan Need some good changes they are not consistent every single season. They start the season very well but at the end of the season they were out of the top 4 not win the league but of the UCL spot as well. Iraola sign for Liverpool and he is good manager they have good experience of PL football. Pochettinoare busy in the WorldCup for USA I think the right option for Milan go and search experience manager which can help the team to make it consistent. I think Febrigas is the perfect one for this Milan side if they want to leave Como sign him directly . They are fully deserved for Milan job they did incredible job at Como. I am expecting the same for Milan the only hope for Milan to be change and count him in europe.

Yes they treat innocent people badly and it will be a boomerang for Milan in the next season if it continues like that, it's ridiculous that you want to get good achievements but don't look in the mirror.

precisely it's a shitty decision Unfortunately when a team does badly it is often not the coaches or the players, but the management see after Spalletti's departure from Napoli, who was to blame if not the president of Napoli It took a serious coach to tell him, you're the president, I'll be the coach, to calm him down..

Milan isn't getting Iraola, he is already signed with Liverpool. Pochettino is the only one left that is known and the person they can sign, if they can get him, this is going to be the best they can get.
Not because he would be awesome or anything, we have no idea how he will be, but the best CV they can get is him, they will do either that, or get someone who is not that much successful historically, and get someone a bit lesser known and hope that they would do fine. Right now they do not have that gamble, so they should sign someone like Pochettino with great CV.

Spalletti left Napoli then for the reason like he was worn out or something. But I really wish he stayed for at least a few years. That could have brought some real competition to the Serie A...
Now Inter are so comfortable with dominating the league. Because there is literally no club who can stand in their way. The quality difference in their squads is also getting bigger I think.

Milan doesn't have a player problem, their squad is good, they didn't had a manager problem, Allegri was good. Milan has an ownership problem, an ownership that doesn't have a proper vision. A team like Milan shouldn't be where they are, and with that kind of money they are spending, and that kind of revenue they have, the idea that the yare doing badly is silly, and they should have done a lot more.
At this point, they should be ashamed of Inter, same place, and yet so wild difference between them. Milan needs to have a better ownership who actually understands football. An ownership that can get a good manager, stick to him, and defend as well as possible for the long term.

I don’t think Inter can keep dominating for much longer, Many players will leave or become free agents during this transfer window, so it all depends on how Inter replace the players who are leaving. Napoli, however, have a very strong squad and I’m sure they’ll be among the dominant forces next season too

I'm not sure about the domination part either. Because in the recent years there haven't been any team being able to even win the league twice in a row. We can rather say that Inter and Napoli are in control of it instead. They both won the league by an interval of one year recently. We will see what Napoli will be able to do with Allegri next season.

Next season’s Serie A campaign will be very different for a number of reasons; indeed, many teams are changing managers and many others are undergoing a complete overhaul of their board. Teams like Napoli, with Allegri’s arrival, will completely change their style of play, whilst Milan have completely overhauled their board. Finally, some real strikers are set to arrive, something that was lacking this year. In fact, Juventus are targeting Sorloth and Como are close to signing Gonzalo Garcia. We’ll see how it all turns out. Before Juventus can make any signings, they need to offload a massive liability called Vlahovic; as long as Dusan stays at the club, I don’t think Juventus will spend any money on strikers. The problem is that they’ll most likely lose him on a free transfer because the player refuses to accept a pay cut! What a headache for the board!
