Two outstanding league games have been played today:
Fiorentina 2-2 Atalanta
Frosinone 5-1 Lecce

Atalanta have been a little bit of a disappointment this season so far. In the past year. In the past few seasons, they have always been up there, close to the top 5 and consistently qualifying for the European cups. But right now, after 9 games, they struggle to break into the top half of the table. Today's draw is probably a success for Atalanta, as they were down 2-1 but managed to equalise and Fiorentina had a massive advantage when it comes to shots on goal (25 Vs Atalanta's 7), but this just goes to show that Atalanta is far from their peak performance.

On the other hand, Frosinone are a positive surprise. They are newly promoted, but it looks like their ambitions are more than just to avoid relegation. They are currently 6th and in a good position to maybe attack the top 4 (Champions League places) if they remain consistent throughout the rest of the season.

Honestly I don’t really know what wrong with fiorentina, this is how they started last season that they had to battle for relegation towards the end of last season. I think these poor performance is what a lot of big players are leaving the club. The likes of moise kean who was one of their best players last season left the club. We can’t keep seeing fiorentina battling for relegation every season, that really bad. If these poor results keep coming in then they will have to sack the manager. These players also need to start taking responsibility too. They need to win games.

Milan has signed a brilliant young talent named Moreira from Strasbourg.
He provided two assists within the first 10 minutes, playing a major role in giving his team a 2-0 lead. Rabiot scored a nice goal—though it was unclear whether he intended to shoot or cross—but the play resulted in Milan extending their lead to 2-0.

One thing is very certain in the Milan derby, team foam is always out go context in this game. Inter Milan is very much in foam and I was not expecting them to lose this game, not by this far margin. Well AC Milan approach in this game was very different, they showed they wanted it more and they they came with a very good game plan. Amorim have done a really good work with this team, he have improved them in all angles.

Moreira took this game personal, he showed why Milan spend that much to bring me him to the club. He his a very talented player, a fare-less one, he his not scared to take on defenders and also defend very well. The Who match happened in the first half. Good one from Amorim and his boys, they desperately needed this win.

While they got a draw against Atalanta and not a defeat, it's encouraging, but Fiorentina, like in recent seasons, will do the exact same thing this time, fighting only exclusively for survival.
Fiorentina's days when Batistuta played and was feared on the pitch have long since passed. If they want to get the team back (they can't get the league back), perhaps they could finish fourth, but to do that they need to take a leaf out of their book from how they played years ago.
I'm not saying they should take a cue from other teams, but to go back to playing like they used to, definitely different players, definitely different coach, but it's clear that the team isn't performing, apparently they're not doing anything to improve.
I understand that it is also a question of funds, but there is not even a little commitment in sight.

I think the fault is from the management level, the club have actually lost their identity no lies. I can no longer recognize them. The club need to find a way to balance the club with player that would help the team to get back their form. I also don’t like seeing them at the relegation zone. they use to be the club I enjoyed watching as they could trouble top teams in the league. What I think is the solution is for the club to spend money on quality players in some key positions and it will help to shape the team back to better position.

Losing to Milan is not the end of the world, and they still hold the top in the outright to win the trophy (1.66). league trophy is about how long you can keep your consistency, suffering the lose for once or two times won't affect your chance to win the trophy unless you have your rival to be a team that never get a lose.

It's true derby games like this is not determined by form or anything and it's what makes it always interesting and honestly the Milan Derby is one of the most interesting derby games in football. The fact that Inter always find it difficult to win against them is surprising even when they are struggling. Their case is just similar to Chelsea and Manchester United, No matter how badly United is they seem to find a way to play well when it comes to Chelsea.
Lazio vs Roma is another interesting derby, with the good performance both are showing it will be a very fierce game for both side. Difficult to predict who is winning that one.

What he said isn't wrong, though. Inter has suffered in several matches. Look at last round's match at home versus Fiorentina. They were losing until stoppage time and then managed to turn things around with two goals in the last minutes. They began their Champions League campaign with two losses before winning against Shakhtar and they struggled a lot in that match as well. Bologna was in front against them a couple of weeks ago before they turned things around. Udinese had a 0:2 advantage at the Meazza and they turned the result around in their favor and won 5:3. Napoli was also in front by two goals before they they turned it around and won 3:2, with another goal in the stoppage time.

The biggest problem Inter Milan are currently facing is their defense. Although they play well in attack, they are a bit weak in defense. While it is good for any team to score goals, it is important not to keep the opposing team from scoring. They managed to come back against Roma, but that effort was not successful against AC Milan. Fiorentina was always in the upper part of the league and were always between 4th and 8th position and now last few seasons they are always in the bottom and i think their fans cant take this any longer. I think they need to restructure the entire club like Como did for example and i think that is how the clubs should function.

This means you have not been watching Inter's games. You probably just see the scoreline and see that they won and think it was just easy for them. The Inter games I've watched this season are Napoli, Udinese, Roma, Fiorentina and recently Milan. In most of these games, they came from behind to get a point or win. Napoli scored two before they came from behind to win, same with Udinese. Roma scored two before they came from behind to draw. Fiorentina was winning the game till the 90th minute when Thuram got the equalizer, and about 6 minutes later, when Zielinski scored the penalty. In the champions league I've watched them against Real Madrid and Club Brugge, although I only watched the second half of the Club Brugge game. Look at the kind of cheap goals they gave away against Real Madrid and then started struggling to stage a comeback.

So when I say Inter is not in their usual good form, I know what I'm saying because they are one of the teams I bet on the most to score goals and also one of the teams I watch the most. I did not say that because of yesterday's game. And you can see where I said I still think they will win the league, that how much I know them.

Also, you can clearly see me say they will still win the league because I don't trust any other team to be consistent enough to retain their current form till the end of the season. I think only Inter fans watch Inter's games more than me. They are a team I have a soft spot for. I developed a soft spot for them when Diego Milito was there. I even had his jersey. Another reason I watch them is that they are fun to watch. They are attacking and resilient. There is a high chance that there will be goals in their matches. I choose to go by the last part as a good reason for the performance that AC Milan put up in the game at Milan because inter Milan is not a bad team and I was not very surprised about the results as it's a derby. Or maybe Inter Milan was not lucky. The four goals were all scored before the halftime and despite the whole performance put up in the second half, nothing effective was done. Inter Milan dominated the game and pressed the much they could but couldn't score.

Even though Lazio now sits 3 points away from Inter Milan, I still believe that Inter Milan still has an upper hand in the title race. AC Milan is fighting to keep their champions league hope alive so are also harmful in their own way. The goals were great though, with my favourite goal being Moreira's goal being my best of the game. The commentator summarised the game from the start with the saying that, "Derbies don't necessarily define seasons" which is just what we have seen in this situation.

Juventus won against Napoli and they have improved their position by collecting three points. Although Juventus has not yet been able to move their position to the right place, they have lost 3 matches and drawn 2 matches out of 10 matches at the beginning of this season which has put them behind in the points table. The leading team Lazio has 28 points, they are quite strong this season and Inter and Roma are competing against them. However, the Juventus team has lost a lot of their performance in the upcoming season compared to last season and they have fallen behind. Juventus is about 11 points behind the leading team, Juventus is in 7th position with 17 points. However, I think Juventus can improve the points table a little more if they can play strongly in the next matches and collect old points.
