As I read through this thread It was indeed funny but although there is alot to learn from it. Because I see it from another angle. Which means that we dont hope for results when effort is not applied, even the bible verse Proverbs 12:11:  says,
"Those who work their land will have abundant food, but those who chase fantasies have no sense." So a man that work shall eat and the one that doesn't will not expect food. Bible also said I will bless the works of the hand. This denotes that God dont like laziness.
It is good we believe in God but let us know the difference between mixing up fantasy with reality or mixing wishes to believe.

First off, I have to acknowledge the holy book because it gave me the inspiration to create this thread "James 2:17-26" it adviced Christian believers that having faith or hoping for a positive result without putting much effort to make it manifest is as good as dead. I've found out that many Nigerian believers are fund of this practice and it's part of the reason why some are still struggling to be financially stable, you'll see people praying for positive results without putting much effort to make it work.

 I had a discussion with some dude and he was like he loves Bitcoin and would love to own a fair portion of it someday he even said he's praying for God to give him like 1 BTC, honestly i laughed out loud cause his statement was so funny, like you're praying to have 1 BTC but you're not working hard to own it or putting effort to own a fair portion of it, makes to sense at all.

 My advice to him was that every Bitcoin believers have hope for a better future, and instead of praying for God to give him Bitcoin, he should get a job if he doesn't have any then start buying Bitcoin gradually and according his income, Bitcoin investment is not some spiritual battle you fight against with prayers, you own it by putting effort towards owning it, which is buying then Hodling for a long period to make more future profits, I believe that my advice would help him change that mentality and work towards getting the amount of Bitcoin he wishes to have in the future.

There should of necessity be a clear distinction between faith based event and times when reality should be followed to the fullest. As long as it concerns investing in bitcoin, if you're not doing it you're not doing it and there's no two ways about it. Wishful thinking don't make you a better investor and you don't just grow your portfolio by just praying about it.

We have abused the principle of prayers to the point we've made it a substitute to the things we can literally do on our own. I tend to think about this in terms of showing up everyday and exploring any and all opportunities (investing, trading,airdrops,work for bitcoin/crypto, etc) that are available to us in Crypto (on and off the forum) will lead to better results  compared to just waiting for 1 free BTC.

Actually it's said that heaven helps those who can't help themselves but, one thing we must know is that investment doesn't solely rely on prayer rather analysis and choosing the right investment plans, for instance; you must know things involved on investments before venturing or, let say you can just rush to invest in any random coin a s expect pray or miracle to happen. See man..., I really think it's foolish for someone to say a prayer that good should give them 1 BTC, someone who really have a good sense reasoning would rather ask God to give them the right knowledge and guide on how to they can be able to easily accumulate such amount of Bitcoin. As a Christian myself who believes in God to be a God of yesterday, today and forever, I believe nothing is impossible for Him to do if he wants to do it, if Jesus christ could get money out from the mouth of a fish, He can still give that dude and anyone of us who desires it 1 bitcoin or even more if He wants..

Owning a bitcoin is not what can be achieved by prayers or rather waiting for it to happen by mere miracle, it requires hard work and determination , not every work you do can even enable you to own a potion of it, because having a stash of bitcoin is not a Childs play unless you choose to buy bit by bit.
