When we were once young, then we do start by playing games, then as we grow more older, we begin to advance into gambling, because we feels that we already have the competences needed in playing most of these games, but on the real fact, things weren't like that with gambling, because playing games is just a child's play while gambling is the big deal we are into and we may have to advance more in learning how to play bets.

I remember this period of my childhood where I watched older friends say that for them to take a game seriously their opponent should "drop money" which is more like placing bets.  And that's when they took the game seriously. It was nothing as serious as it is now but I was never drawn to any of it. It made no sense for me, the childhood thrill game from the love of playing the game and not the money.

If we look at it literally, games always provide or bring us entertainment so that we don't get bored instead we are entertained despite feeling bored or having something else going on.

Now to make our gaming more thrilling and we will now look for a way that while we are playing, we will also combine it with gambling so that we can create money in a fast way that we will rely on luck by betting money.

Fun and entertainment turning into having extra money always great because while you are playing and having good understanding of game then surely this is going to be good for you to have extra money which is always welcomed beyond boundaries.

Many turn this into good way for themselves to stay in hunt for enjoying their skills for money and enjoyment even this is not for all because due to many restrictions things have never been on same level for all but still it's good way and gamer is always had good advantage because they are entering into this with some extra knowledge and understanding. Few countries now turning this into their way because they feel having youths fun and enjoyment into positive way give extra motivation to new generation, and they can do things which was never been possible without this but still it's long way to go for many countries those lacking structure and better understanding.

Games and gambling have something in common. Gambling is meant for gamers and game lovers. It is also a fun activity for gamers to predict outcomes with some funds to see if they can hit luck and win.

However, there are a few people who love games but are not interested in gambling because they are not willing to lose money, as it is about loss and gain, so they choose not to gamble at all.

Both game and gambling creates entertainment and then both of them can as well require money.
Yeah, there is a solid relationship between the two, it is because there is no way to play gambling without games. Gambling is still a broad word but we won't tackle them for now, as our topic is only about gambling on casinos.

As a kid, it is only normal for us to play a game and once we hit adulthood, our preference can still change. I know a lot of adults who don't play games anymore and they are now gamblers. Among people around me, most of them that are men like to play game but only few among them are gambling. The people that are gambling are also playing the games. I even thought only children like to play game but I noticed later when I grow older that adults also like playing games.

If you're playing games, you're not yet a gambler, because you're only being entertained by the activities from a game provider to suit your pleasure time, as no money is involved for you to bet over one thing against the other, but once your game involves the use of money, then it turned gambling because monkey money in this regard has been used for stake.

Gaming and gambling is two different things but a gamer who is staking money for the game while having fun is getting entertained and also practicing gambler you don't need to be in a casino or a bet shop for you to be practicing gambling. If you are having a bet while playing games you are also into gambling and gradually you can take the experience to staking games online to get into the real gambling world. For a gamer that is having fun without involving outside betting you can't say the person is gambling.

Game is an activity that involves competitive, football is a game of competition, bicycle race is a game of competition, marathon race is also a game of competition, and when some people deeply fale in love with games of different kind, there's a likelihood that the person can become a gambler too.  Many gamblers too didn't get into gambling because they were game lover but they were deeply attracted because of the love of money. They must have seen people that won  and so they decided to start gambling too.

People like to compete, they like challenges and when they are faced with a game, they can't resist because they want to feel the pleasure of winning. When that same game has a cash prize or the possibility of betting, things get more interesting. It's hard for people not to like at least one game.

Nowadays, with highly developed phones, people install games and play them when they are on public transport so as not to talk to other people. Even people who didn't like games start playing when they have the latest generation of phones.

When we say people gamble for fun, it is actually because of the gaming aspect of it. I agree with you @op that a good number of gamers or people who love games are gamblers but that is truly not the biggest thing that motivates game lovers to gamble. Game lovers just want to make money from the games they play. Majority of gamers are on this table. There are still some gamblers who treat the two are solely different things. If they are gaming, they have no business with gambling and when they gamble, it is for the the purpose of gambling and not for any reason as people think. This does not need to be true for all of us. Because gambling is a psychological thing like because of adrenaline pumping, you are looking for gambling whereas people who love to watch thrilling movies might be loving gambling as well and they might be hating to play games. All games are not giving adrenaline pumping so gambler who love to play games must be choosing thrilling games, so they are enjoying games in gambling way. These are all highly subjective and you cannot draw a exact definition between gambling and games.

Yeah, the difference between gambling and gaming could be identified with the involvement of money. If there is no prize money then that is just a game and where there is, then that is gambling. So, gambling is obviously derived from the games by just adding prize money.

Gaming and gambling does not have much of a connection because both operate under two different principles.

You're simply trying to make things more difficult for yourself here as gaming and gambling have a lot in common as it's just a thin line that differentiates them. Of course you understand the little difference which you already mentioned in the part I edited out but if you say they have nothing in common then you're contradictory to your own self.

Gambling is gaming with money, having fun with money in old but gaming is just doing it for the pleasure sake. in gambling you may not participate in the gaming but stake in support of another person or people's performance.

In Gaming you're physically involved or virtually involved.

I believe people that love games will likely be gamblers but not like there aren't some people that doesn't gamble and this can be because of their beliefs. A game lover that's a Muslim won't be seen gambling because his religion doesn't support gambling. Some might be because of some personal reasons that gave them a bad experience. But a large portion of game lovers are gambling because with the numbers of people gambling, non game lovers can't be that many. People that didn't like games but found interest in gambling will turn into games lovers because they'll want to get more experience so that their correct prediction rate with increased with more knowledge they'll get from watching games.

I think there is a relationship between games or gamers and gambling. Personally, I am someone who has played various types of console games, and there are so many games that are my favorites, but what is clear from all those games is about entertainment, especially after getting an achievement, and I think that is the relationship with gambling, namely in every gambling game that is done can make us get entertainment like a game. I`m football player for more twenty years(not pro player, but won few amateur tournaments) but never had interest for gambling. Until i calculated that i can get profit. When i understood that i can`t combine gambling with job - i stopped gambling easily and don`t want to play. Except few situation, when it is planned action with planned time limit.

Your stance is that all those gamers who are gaming are engaging in gambling, and you shared some personal experiences where you saw them end up with gambling issues. However, gambling and gaming are two different things. Gambling is a financial activity that a person engages in to make profits, while gaming is about the experience and skill involved in playing games. Most gamers who enjoy the PS5 or FIFA are not gambling; they are simply playing their games and nothing more. You have a good point here but somehow I disagree in some extent.  It make sense to say that many gamers can be attracted to gambling because gambling is also entertainment and involves games except that gambling has a risky part on it.

On the other note, those who are not fond of games may also become a gambler because of the allure of the huge winnings.  There are lots of people who are not into games but are hooked on buying lottery tickets because of the huge pot money for the winners.

The possibility of making a huge win is attractive enough for these non-gaming people to engage in gambling, so people from all walks of life are attracted to gambling because of the same reason I stated.

This isn't common but this happens. If you don't want to gamble but you like still to gamble through this, some might find satisfaction through this.
