After his excellent performance last year, Mauro Icardi experienced a decline in performance due to personal issues. Everyone was expecting him to return to his old form, and he seems to be slowly returning to it. Galatasaray gave Kasımpaşa no chance in this match. It was a game played in front of Tekkale, and they scored two more goals in the last 10 minutes to finish the match with three goals. Statistically, their superiority is already evident.

I somewhat disagree that Galatasaray chances of winning the title are very high. I personally still think they and Fenerbahçe have a 50/50 chance, considering Fenerbahçe promising performance compared to last season.

But in today Galatasaray match, no one would have expected them to play like that. Kasimpasa wasn't given any space at all to shoot, and they were only allowed one corner kick, something I've rarely seen in Super Lig matches, and it's unlikely to ever happen again.

Galatasaray did a nice job today and i didn't even believe they could win Kasimpasa with a clean sheet. 3:0 is a very good scoreline. Nice to see Icardi writing his name in the score sheet to make it 8 Super ligue goals he has scored this season. Galatasaray is doing well without one of their major striker Victor Osimhen who left for international duty for his country Nigeria as the Africa cup of Nations is ongoing in Morocco of which Victor Osimhen will also showcase his talent at the tournament.

I think the referee of the Galatasaray-Kasımpaşa match was really awful. He made many simple and critical mistakes during the match which were in favour of Galatasaray. There are 2 examples for it below.

Both of these incidents happened by an interval of a few seconds. I don't think it was a supporting arm situation for Sanchez. He clearly cuts the ball by opening his arm to the direction the ball is going. Later Torreira should have got the 2nd yellow for that challenge.

This is a really brilliant result from Galatasaray, at some point we would want to think that they were not going  to be able  to make good moves and brilliant performances since  their key player Osimhen who left for the AFCON.. their performance was really brilliant and one which got them a deserving victory.

I think Sanchez's arm was a supporting arm because both arms were at the same angle, and if he had held his arm at a narrow angle, it could have been injured. Torreira's action was badly timed, and I think he should have received a second yellow card, but the referee probably judged the force to be weak because it wasn't a hard hit. However, there is something more important. These positions should be interpreted according to current FIFA rules. Especially positions where the ball touches the hand are frequently changed, like the offside line rules. I don't know what the latest interpretation book says about these positions. It may or may not say that Sanchez's arm was in a natural position...

For example, the interpretation book might say that if Sanchez's arm is in the air, it's a penalty, but if it's on the ground, it's in a natural position. So, looking at it this way, it's not correct to say the referee made a mistake in this situation...

In Türkiye, referees are criticized very easily. I'm definitely not targeting you, but there are some accounts on this page that only post messages to criticize referees. However, no one is commenting based on accurate information...

Yes, I think the best news for Galatasaray is that they won't be playing league matches for a long time. Meanwhile, I hope the players will rest and be better prepared for the second half of the season, according to coach Okan Buruk. For now, they can enjoy their lead in the first part of the season. I was expecting this one to be a hard match for Galatasaray especially when three of their key players have gone to the Africa Cup of Nations.
Galatasaray scored the first goal quickly but then the second goal came late and it was a bit stressful for them. Fortunately they could second goal and relaxed. Then the third goal came and the match was effectively over. It was also good to see Icardi score. Finding his form is especially important for the Champions League.

That's the inequality of the teams here, Galatasaray is no match for a team like that, obviously the difference is very big, so it's natural that this team gets very bad statistics, they also have to be lucky because Galatasaray didn't kill with many goals and only 3, that's generous from Galatasaray, even though in conditions like this 5 more goals can be obtained, but it doesn't seem to do that, on the other hand, Kasimpasa's players only focus on their defense from start to finish.

Galatasaray had an incredibly dominant game surely! All Kasımpaşa were able to do was 1 shot and that's all. The goal expectation from them was 0.03. I was just worried about the score being 1-0 for too long.

By the way I must admit a fact here. Torreira should have been sent off. That's a clear second yellow card. In that case the last minutes could have been more stressful for us. The interesting thing was that the referee didn't even call a foul for that.

In yesterday's matches, we saw the home teams win without conceding any goals.
Alanyaspor defeated Karagümrük 2-0 at home to secure three points. Karagümrük are perhaps the most likely team to be relegated this season, and they failed to put in an impressive performance in this match. Alanyaspor, unbeaten in recent weeks, won the match with the advantage of playing at home.
In a match affecting the top positions, Göztepe secured an important 2-0 home victory over Samsunspor. We can now say that Göztepe is in a better position than Samsunspor in the battle between these two teams to finish in the top four. This victory saw them move into fourth place. Göztepe's goals were scored by young player Arda Okan Kurtuan.
As for Galatasaray, as we know, they secured all three points with three goals in their home match. Kasımpaşa did not even challenge them; Galatasaray dominated the match throughout.

It was already a deserved match for Galatasaray with that kind of effort. However it's still not nice to see this kind of referee errors in our football. 

We are really sick of it for so many years but nothing changes at all! TFF literally doesn't care about people's solution offers.

We have been calling them for trying out foreign referees in many more matches. I claim this will have a good start to fix the main problems in Turkish football.

Trabzonspor has a match to play in the super league today, but let's talk about their previous league match.
Mistakes like that happens, but there's a way to make up for them. Don't waste your young player's talent, support them. A young squad might lack experience and efficiency, but they have the speed, strength and agility to out-pace experienced old players.

Meanwhile, they have been winning with this youth scouting policy, and it seems they will see good things in the future as well.
They also have a problem breaking down a closed defense; they need a quality, prolific goalscorer. Besiktas dominated them in their recent game for 45 minutes but struggled to score. The same thing happened in this match. They couldn't score. Players need to understand that not every shot leads to the net; some shots are for interception and rebounce. Some are crosses for possible headers.

Most people agree about Torreira, after the second yellow card, he should have been sent off with a red card, but he wasn’t. This is because there are two teams competing for the championship and referees hesitate to show cards to these teams, fearing that their careers might be ruined.

In the Fenerbahçe match, a clear penalty was not given. It wouldn’t have changed the outcome of the match, but why wasn’t that penalty awarded? (The incident where Asensio pulls the opponent by the shirt.)

Friends, this is how our league is and with these referees we have to accept it one way or another. Until foreign referees are brought in, this league will stay like this.

There was a time I saw in the local news that the referees in the Turkish leagues were going to be reviewed and some of them may be relieved of their duties after some corrupt practice was noticed amongst a few of them, I believe it will be effective enough to take out th unprofessional so that we see little to non of such refree supposed misconduct, Galatasaray deserved the victory and tnxs to them for showing the might that they can maintain some level of form through this period of some unavoidable absence of ket players.
