How interesting that player who made them champions for nearly 2 years, ended up being the "unwanted" man, or at least a player they wish they weren't playing instead. Icardi scored a lot of goals for Galatasaray, was a top scorer of the league one season, and still one of the leaders for Turkish league top scorers as well, third or fourth right now after half of the season, so not like he is a nobody, he is a very good striker who scores a lot of goals for them.

And yet, Osimhen is such a magical transfer for them that they never believed it could have been possible, now when Osimhen is away, Icardi is seen as backup that they have to play and not really happy about it and wish Osimhen was back, football is very weird sometimes.

This is simply your opinion because real football lovers care about every competition irrespective of where it is hosted. It might surprise you to know the level of interest in the AFCON tournament this year because in such events are c. Just like European competitions, the AFCON do have reasonable audience that makes it one of the choice place for football scouts and agents. I really hope he plays because when he is not on the pitch Galatasaray's attacking performance is getting bad. He is a really key player for GS. Also he is playing amazing in the ACON right now. he played very efficient  against Tunisia, he scored 1 goal and made 1 assist. Today, Nigeria has a match against Uganda and I think he will score again. If he continues like this he will come back to Galatasaray with a lot of confidence and energy.

Galatasaray has sufficient squad depth for the league. Even without Osimhen, it wouldn't matter; the more playing time he gets in the league, the better. This is definitely one of the best reviews I've read. Mauro Icardi played very well last year, but this year he's having a season far below expectations. Actually, we could somewhat predict this kind of performance at the beginning of the season, because he was going through a turbulent period in his personal life. He experienced a difficult separation from Wanda Nara, who was both his manager and wife. Now, with Osimhen shining with his magnificent performance, Icardi's chances of saving the team are slim. Galatasaray is much stronger with the Nigerian striker. There are players in much better teams in the Champions League, but the Nigerian is still in the top three of the goalscoring charts. I read that the president and vice-president of Eyüpspor are also among the executives inside. When Erden Timur took over at Galatasaray, the club started paying high transfer fees.
