Beşiktaş are in bad shape, and everyone knows it. Göztepe, on the other hand, is one of the stronger performing teams in the league.
Honestly, I wasn’t expecting such a big margin, but their defeat didn’t really surprise me either. Ibrahim Sabra scored a beautiful goal.

Beşiktaş’s coaches aren’t necessarily bad, the squad itself is weak, so there’s only so much they can do. With this roster, I wouldn’t put the blame on the coaches.

It was really a very humiliating defeat. I honestly expected a Galatasaray victory. I even bet on them, thinking that with the current squad they would be able to defeat Frankfurt, who are not Bundesliga champions and who are not fighting for the Bundesliga title. This difference is very big. A team that is not fighting for the Bundesliga title, which can hardly even finish in second place in the Bundesliga, was able to crush Galatasaray. Galatasaray conceded 5 goals in yesterday's game. Losing is one thing, it happens, it's normal. But conceding 5 goals against an opponent who hasn't even managed to win the Bundesliga for years was very humiliating.

do you determine teams' strengths and potential based on their league championships? if so, there are no other strong teams besides bayern munich in germany, real madrid and barcelona in la liga, and psg in ligue 1. the fact that a team did not compete for the championship in its own league or did not finish very high in the standings means nothing when competing against teams from other leagues. i'm not saying “frankfurt is definitely a better team than galatasaray,” but the proposition you are making is very wrong.

it's very difficult to predict how good teams from different leagues will perform against each other. that's what makes the champions league unpredictable and enjoyable.

Göztepe played excellent football, beating Beşiktaş 3-0 and sending them to Istanbul.
Göztepe, in particular, blew a crucial lead in the first half. Beşiktaş rarely attacked.
Beşiktaş conceded the first goal from a throw-in.
Göztepe entered the Beşiktaş penalty area twice in the first 20 minutes and scored both times.

Beşiktaş were the more dominant side in the second half but couldn't find the net.
Sabra's goal in the 85th minute is a candidate for goal of the week. The goal also involved a goalkeeping error, but I think Sabra's ability to head the ball, follow the rebound from the goalkeeper, and execute the overhead kick were all excellent touches.

Beşiktaş and Sergen Yalçın won't have an easy time.
I'm curious to see how long Sergen will remain as manager, but I doubt he'll be in charge for long.

Göztepe football team performance was excellent in the last match as they did brilliant job and did 3 goals in the last match. Santos da Silva was a person who did first goal in this match and he did this goal at 4 minutes and that was at the start of the match. We saw back to back goals in this match and Beşiktaş football team could not do any goal in this match because that team was in bad form but their possession was very good in this match which was 70 percent and passes of that team were more in this match which were 468 in this match.Göztepe football team performance was at top because Rhaldney did second goal of the match and he did this goal at 19 minutes when opponent team was in full pressure and we saw that team in confidence.

I think if it hadn’t been for Osimhen’s injury, and if he had played against Frankfurt, he could have made the difference for Galatasaray. With him on the pitch, they might have even won, or at least secured the draw. By any name without Victor Osimhen Galatasaray is a noticeably different team, and honestly, they’re a class below the top European sides.

Maybe Osimhen would have made a difference, but like I said earlier, Galatasaray still has a pretty good squad. They have Gundogan, Lorey Sane, Icardi, etc, and these are elite players that can also carry the team on their shoulders in his absence.

By the way, any rumors about when he’ll recover and return to the squad? ^{I’ve postponed my bets on Galatasaray until he’s back in action}.

Lol... This got me laughing. The time frame for his recovery is 3 weeks. So depending on how fit he is, he might be available for the match against Alanyaspor or Liverpool.

A poor start to the season because am not too impressed with the performance of Besiktas so far this season because this is back to back loses for besiktas with the signing that Besiktas made prior to the opening of the season I expected that Besiktas should be more competitive. because no team can win the league by only winning home matches.


If results continue this way letting the coach go should be the best thing for the club because Besiktas is one team that should be competing with the likes of Galatasary.

Have you seen the goalkeeper Onana's assist to Onuachu today? It was a really lovely pass and Onuachu got it thanks to his physical advantage.

Onana has good sides also in his career but his performance in the recent years was so bad that he couldn't go on in the Premier League anymore.

But for now it looks like he is adapting to the Turkish league. He is on loan maybe but it might be a permanent deal depending on his overall effort.

Antalyaspor was doing well, they were very close to another win, but they couldn't prevent the last-minute goal. Antalyaspor has a central midfield problem. They need to find a solution for the defensive midfield position. The players who played there while Saric was injured weren't good enough. This problem will be solved when Saric returns. Emre's late substitutions led to them conceding the goal. They have a good squad this season. I wish they had a better manager. I hope they can finish the league in the top 6.

Ordinarily getting pass this stage of the champions league is very key and primary for Galatasaray and not really aiming at winning  the champions league and this loss they suffered is one which I do nit want to believe will deny them a chance to get pass the current stage of the champions league, they will only need to get to hope for the quick recovery of their play maker not because he is going to do all the work but he also doubles as a motivation for others to want to perform well in fixtures as such.

Abraham was signed with high expectations, but he hasn't contributed significantly to the goal. He wasn't a good striker in my opinion anyway.
There's a huge gap between the football Orkun played at Benfica and the one he played at Beşiktaş. Beşiktaş lacks the quality of midfielders Orkun played with at Benfica.
Rafa has disappeared this season. There's no trace of the football he played last year. I wouldn't be surprised if Beşiktaş loses their next match, because they're playing poorly.

Gençlerbirliği earned its first victory with a 1-0 victory over Eyüpspor. This defeat marked Eyüp's fourth defeat. The four weakest and worst-playing teams in the Trendyol Super League are currently at the bottom of the table: Eyüp, Gençlerbirliği, Kocaelispor, and Karagümrükspor.

At least two of these four teams will definitely be relegated to the lower league. They may still be at the top of the league, but Karagümrük and Gençlerbirliği are particularly poor. The football they play is not something you can afford to watch in a stadium, nor can you watch it at home in front of a television. They are playing such poor, subpar football.

fenerbahçe will be playing away against kasımpaşa tonight. for as long as i can remember, kasımpaşa matches have always been easy for fenerbahçe. even if the match doesn't end with a huge score difference, it doesn't feel like kasımpaşa will win.

since they drew in their last match, fenerbahçe will definitely want to win this one to avoid falling further behind. i think kasımpaşa will hand the match over.

winning every game is important for any team, but fenerbahçe should place special importance on this match. otherwise, they'll be out of the league from the start, and it will be hard to turn things back.

The voting for the Fenerbahçe presidency is still ongoing, and tonight the club’s new president will be announced. Will Ali Koç continue his presidency, or will the new president be Sadettin Saran? Everything will be clear this tonigh.

Goztepe is also owned by a rich sport club and that allows them to be managed properly, compared to most other teams. Besiktas has been terrible for three seasons in a row now, this season marks their third terrible season far away from the top.

I think what they need to realize is they need to beat these small teams easily, sure Goztepe isn't small, but even if they lose, they should lose better, not get dominated like this. If Besiktas finishes third place, nobody can argue with that considering economical differences. But when they finish fourth or fifth, that becomes a huge issue for them. It is clear that we are going to see things do change at times and not going to be this way forever for Besiktas, but they need to recover soon.

Ali Koç lost the election at Fenerbahçe, and Sadettin Saran became the new president. A new era has now will begin at the club. It remains to be seen what this new management will bring for Fenerbahçe.

In their match against Kasımpaşa, Fenerbahçe could only manage a draw. Despite their opponent being reduced to 10 men in the 45th minute, Fenerbahçe failed to win and even conceded a goal to the shorthanded side.
Fenerbahçe really feels like a joke of a team at this point. They claim to want to be champions but do nothing to show it. Honestly, all I can say is I wish Fenerbahçe fans patience.

Galatasaray understood their front attacking condition weakness that's why they tried at all means to retain Victor Osimhen. The thing is that Victor Osimhen's injury happened at a critical timing when they needed him most to display his striker capacity which would have helped Galatasaray go offensive with goals as much as they yeilded to. The faster Osimhen recovers and return back to the pitch before their next UCL game the better for them because it's obvious he is really a force in the team attack.

If it were to be in their power to get Osimhen healing tp be as fast as possible I believe Galatasaray would do what it takes but it just has to take the time it is going  to take and I know that this is one of the reasons they bought Osimhen, to get a chance  to finish decently at the champions league even if it does not necessarily mean them winning or getting  to the finals but a decent finish as against that which they had been getting before now will be a height achieved for them but having Osimhen injured may be threatening that but they still have time to make up for it and hopefully it be utilised enough.

Unfortunately, they can't force his healing so they would have to accept their date on Osimhen's injury and over-all healing time it's gonna take. Many of the times you hear about clubs refusing to release their players to go rep their country in the international break period is due to the prevention of this incidents because at the end of it it's the club that would be suffering from an injury inflicted on their key players in the break when they're back for league games. Imagine how Galatasaray possibility of a decent finishing in the UCL is now being threatened.

Galatasaray's advantage in the Turkish league is that they don't have a strong opponent to face. All other Turkish teams are weak and have weak squads. So, this loss in the European Champions League won't negatively affect Galatasaray in the Turkish league. Honestly, if any Galatasaray fan complained about the team in the Turkish league, I'd say they're not in the right frame of mind. Because if Galatasaray were as weak as Fenerbahce, who lost points today,



see that even playing the entire 2nd half against an opponent that only had 10 players on the field, Fenerbahce was unable to score the second goal and even conceded an equalizer, does anyone here believe that Fenerbahce could be champion this season? Besides Galatasaray, which other team could win the Turkish league? For me the answer is very clear: there is no other team capable of winning the Turkish league this season, Galatasaray is the only one capable of winning the league

Nah, I don't think it would matter matter too much. Who's to say they won't beat the top teams they will face later in the league? Just because they lost horribly in the UCL doesn't mean it's game over just yet. Lest we forget, the UCL is a different ball game to teams that are not in the top 5 European leagues. Even Fenerbahce often struggled in the Europa league. They might also struggle like you say but me thinks it's still too early to conclude.
