When I applied for VIP few months ago there was no need for deposit in order to get rewarded with VIP status (as far as I know that promotion was exclusive for Bitcointalk). But your VIP status is useless without deposit.

I just won't agree with your explanation regarding the self-moderated announcement thread. The announcement thread is treated like a public discussion thread. So users will share their experience on this thread. And you shouldn't moderate it anyway. Discussion would go positive or negative about your platform. If it went negative, how do we know you haven't deleted it? I know there would be some spam; if it's pure spam, you can report it to moderators. They will handle it accordingly.

We were launching in turbo mode and ticked the wrong box - classic rookie move. Unfortunately, once it’s set, it can’t be changed back. My mistake, and hopefully nobody from my management will see this, but I've been a bitcoin maximalist for years and now I've landed a job working on this forum... I was upset 

But rest assured: we’re committed to using it properly. None of the genuine posts (not spam) will be touched. Negative reviews won’t get deleted. In FACT, they help us improve and fix things on our side faster.

I do not think there is a way to remove or terminated self moderation from a thread you created to be self moderated, if there was, I believe the information would have been circulated well enough that most active forum users would have come across it and learn how to do it..

But all the same, please do report is later you found out it's possible to turn a self moderated thread into mod moderation..

I don't think there's a way to change it, but I will definitely look into it. As I said, pinky promise we WON'T delete any comments, except for some spammy ones, but by spammy I don't mean bad reviews.

We do like criticism, and we are open to discuss anything, anytime. It's more about how we handle those bad reviews—since we are naturally born with different visions and thoughts. But you know, I cannot count a bad review, for example, when a player says: 'Why isn't it an instant withdrawal?' And the withdrawal takes about 36 seconds to arrive and be visible on the chain, and then those users are complaining.

All of those comments will be kept, and in the end, you will see how transparent we are and how simple and easy it is to operate when you are 100% honest and open, just as we were and always will be.
